This grow should be coming to an end next 2 weeks or so some are looking to be in the last stages, only issue is having multiple strains is strains finishing at diff times. There’s one exodus cheese that looks like she’s going to go 10/11 weeks but she’ll be cut well before that to start a new batch. There’s 3 clones that were taken 1 being a big Buddha blue cheese that absolutely reeks of tangie/Clementine terps with a slight sour cheesey smell. This is getting revegged and cloned for the next run. Ripper seeds - this is another strain I’m going to try to reveg as this is another keeper I should have taken cuts. Platinum x harachata - 2 different pheno / one with rock solid nugs other is more Sativa.

had big bud over the weekend, The soil was very dry when I came in on Monday so give it 2 litres hopefully last the next day or 2. Still very tempted to defoliate but unsure if it is the right time or what to remove. Decided to try and defoliate it a bit. see if it has any impact. still a bit worried about things like this what wiht it being my first plant

Everything is going well it seems. She has really shown a ton of pistil growth in the past few days. I'm going to top dress with some buildaflower when it arrives this week, and then lay down some rice hulls. I've also got a time-lapse pointed at the Double Grape and will post it at the end of the week. June 7 - We ordered some new lights last week, they are 240w kingbrite samsung lm310h with uv/ir, 3000k, and meanwell drivers. We setup the new room and moved the girls into there. After a bit of LST and a watering (with nutrients) at roughly 7ph, they were ready to go under the 2 new lights and the same SF-1000 we have been using in this grow. The new room is a 12 ft enclosed trailer. I moved everything from the small tent into this. I put clear poly on the walls, floor and ceiling. I put poly on the shelf I am going to be keeping in there as well. I bought 50ft of 6mm mylar and lined the floors, roof and sides with it. I plan to get some reflective tape to seal everything and to cover the wood. I did not get much of a chance to watch temp's today as they it was later in the evening after all was said and done. The inline fan blowing in air from outside. June 8 - 9 AM i checked the plants, they were at 25.2 and 50% RH. Late through the day I had checked and we had gotten up to around 32 degrees. So I moved the inline fan to the closer vent, hooked up to that, and had the air blowing out of the trailer with the inline fan sucking it from above the lights. I then added oscillating fan and had it blowing air on the left side of the room so it would somewhat circulate once I closed the doors. I then checked at about 9pm and we were at 22 degrees. Definitely noticed a decent amount of growth already. I have the lights on a 22/2 cycle as I was worried about the heat at night time. June 9 - Some great growth from the girls, still having problems controlling the temps in the afternoon. I decided to prop the door open a bit to have a constant breeze throughout the day while I am at work. Decided to do some more LST and also a bit of defoliation. I took about 25% of the leaf's that were blocking the new growth as it was getting a bit bunched up. I was then told the leaf's are almost solar panels for them. So from now on I will be trying to just do some tucking unless needed. The leaf's I removed were most of the damaged leaf's, I am not to sure if that makes much of a difference. I gave them a watering with only water as there is a potential I am getting a bit of a nutrient buildup along with the PH problem. Or potentially the reason for the ph problem is nutrient buildup. After watering with A PH of 7 I got some run off and tested it. The smaller plant gave me a PH of about 5.5 where the bigger one is around 5.0. June 10 - Plants are looking happy and showing tons of growth. Seems to be trying to stretch outwards. Not a ton of sign of PH issues showing so potentially getting it under control. Still a bit of damage to previous leaf's but it is what it is! The last few days I have been leaving the door open a bit in order to keep the temps down. I decided to test something and turn the lights off (automatically) at 11AM and back on at 5PM so light schedule has now changed to 18/6 and it seems I may have figured out the issue. We haven't had lots of sun the last couple days so it hasn't been to hard and I have yet to know if it truly fixed the heat issue for now. (I will be looking into a ac unit as well since it typically gets to around 30-35 around here. June 11 - Pulled some of the branches back down and added a few more LST spots. Seems we have a good amount of growth from the smaller plant out of the 2 topped spots. Unfortunately it looks like I fucked up on the bigger plant and only one of the nodes seems to have new growth. I will continue to monitor that but I think I cut the node to low and also to soon. Other then that, the girls are doing great. They seem to be absolutely loving these new lights. I gave them some nutrient water today as well. roughly 3L each. They seem to be A hell of A lot more thirsty under these new lights. June 12 - The girls are doing great , they are still just doing growing away. Lots of progress everyday. I am going to be getting a go-pro so I can set-up a time-lapse for the rest of this grow. I received my new inline fan, I got A ac infinity CLOUDLINE T4 with the temperature humidity controller. I am going to be having one fan pushing fresh air in and one fan pulling out the hot air. I will be doing that tomorrow since I have to work today. June 13 - I ordered another 50ft of mylar and that showed up today. I have decided to remove the shelf and add another 3+ feet to the grow space. So today I installed more poly, mylar, the ac infinity fan. I have it set-up to pump in air if it gets to warm. I am thinking of switching it to the output that way if it gets to hot or to humid I can have that air pulled out of the trailer. Right now my other inline fan is the outtake and I just have it set on full. Overall I think everything is set-up a bit better and more accessible. I will be putting my 2x2 tent in there at the left of the doors so I can have a veg room when these 2 are in flower. I plan to have 4 in veg and 4 in flower for the next grow. Still waiting on JOTI seeds, ordered 3 weeks ago and still have not been shipped. I will be getting those going the moment they arrive. The girls seem to be happy still, did a bit more LST to try to keep everything even, mainly I'm just pulling down on the spots I already have tie wire on.

Still no pistols so she is still in vegging. Giving her 5 ml of grow big and 2.5 tiger bloom and 2 of big bud (fox farm)

The plants seemed to be hungry this week even though they have been given the correct dose of dry amendments. I have started to feed them my usual Organic feed as well. They are now putting on weight and colour. Removed some dead leaves and they seem ok. Also starting to smell now.

It’s amazing watching these plants grow, it’s been an experience already and so much to go with this grow and with all the learning to come I hope it looks okay to you guys anyone who would like to comment please do I’d love to hear other’s thoughts!

Looking allot better this week! Going to keep the ph a little hogher tward 6.4 also finally got all the males out and everything sexed so i am ready for transplant! I have 6 females from each of the 12 seeds popped from each strain! Great ratio Still have a pretty bad knat infestation after a couple of sprays and i also read neem oil negatively affects microbes in the soil so im going to swich back to grow safe a brand i have used before and i know will work in 2-3 sprays max

The time is finally here to post the harvest. I waited till it was all done and dry before updating the dairy so will add in the dry weights next on the 2nd half of the harvest entry. Had some ups and downs with this plant. mainly the extreme yellowing that was happening. I should have treated this faster with a flush but was super reluctant and I feel this has suffered in the end. The top best looking buds could have been larger and the lower ones could have been thicker. There is some smells with this plant but they are not pronounced. Just smells like mild basic weed, this would be one reason not to grow it, however, the crystals on this plant have been the most I've ever grown before. When trimming them every time the scissors snipped or the brush stroked I saw some falling down onto the tray. This plant would be great for making hash. had a good little ball of finger hash at the end of it and will be giving that to my friends to smoke or make a strong edible with. I don't plan on growing this strain out again, the lack of smells and the fact I'm only trying to grow cbd dominate plants is the main reason. If my friends really like this I have some clones so can always give them some. Speaking of clones they are doing well outside, greened up a lot and showing signs of revegging. Took some photos of the weed hang drying on day 1 in the tent and a week later to show how much they shrink. most of the lower growth is quite larfy but will make good edibles or hash, that will be a fun project to do and may include that in my projects diary. I converted the cents into dollar amounts beforehand to avoid dividing by 100. 8.2c/h = 0.082$/h 438h * 0.17c/kwh = $74.46kw * 0.15kw = $11.17 on peak 522h * 0.113c/kwh = $58.99kw *0.15kw = $8.85 mid peak 1,272h * 0.082c/kwh = $104.30kw *0.15kw = $15.65 off peak The "h" hours and "kw" kilowatts cancel out and we are left with a value of $ dollars per peak period, add all the peak periods up and you get your total cost of running the lights in dollars. $11.17 + $8.85 + $15.65 = $35.67 for the grow light only. My light grew for 20 weeks and 4 days, or 144 days. almost 21 weeks total. $35.67 / 144d = 0.2477$/d average of about 25c a day in electricity 337.2kw for the entire grow. Using the regular calculation of grams harvested divided by watts used is not accurate to me, it does not account for all the time the lamps are on, the length of grow to the over all cost. The calculation that makes sense to me is this, harvested dry weight of usable cannabis buds/trim/keif/whatever in grams divided by total kw used. Could also combine it with grams per total single use costs “anything you used only for this grow and wont reuse in the next, or fractions of multi use items like fertilizers if they ½ full” and see how much you’re investing per gram. "kw" ÷ "g" = kw/g "$" ÷ "g" = $/g I have harvested 5.34oz or 151.6g on 337.2kw. 337.2kw ÷151.6g = 2.22 kw/g of usable cannabis. This is not an ideal ratio for me and looks like a lot of energy waste happened from the extended veg period. $35.67 ÷ 151.6g = 0.24c/g It cost 24c/g when comparing total electricity cost to gross yield, almost identical to the comparison of total electrical cost to the number of days in the grow 25c/day.
