Well this girl has recovered very well she was doing just horrible because I had the lights to low at 22" when 34" was way better . These led lights had me thinking I could go lower then I could ... She is doing great and will be getting the nutrients she needs I'm feeding her a 100% Canadian and organic line that got from a local company .. getting excited to see where we are next week and about do her transplant too. NL topped will be a monster...did not defoliate yet...lost one of the 4 main colas (broken) but seems to get extremely bushy anyway...nutrients mainly from TA as shown above NL untopped (coco with aptus) seems to be extremely healthy and develops monster leaves...yesterday removed appr 10 leaves for more ventilation. For untopped didnt change the nutriens yet...still this Aptus all in one 1 ml/l Aptus regulartor 3 drops/l Aptus start booster 4 drops/l Aptus callmag booster 1 ml/l I have to water with the nutrients everyday, 2 litre...each plant...keeping the ec low at 1,2 - 1,3...means the basic water should not have more than 0,3 better 0,2...means I have to use destilled water partially Next week will be some in nutrients...blooming is coming especially the topped NL...untopped maybe later...

We finally started flowering this week, some plans changed and we did not clone this genetics, we are waiting to do a broader Pheno hunt and get the best specimen available.

#Crop King Seeds Planting 3 Seeds Using 2 Different Techniques to germinate the Seeds - The First 2 Seeds were germinated (Jul 2nd) using the water / paper towel technique * The seeds were dropped in a half glass of bottled water (It stayed afloat) and kept in a closed dark area. * After 12 Hours the 2 seeds were pushed down to reach the bottom of the glass using my finger. * After 24 hours the 2 seeds were transferred / Now using the paper towel method to complete the germination - The last seed was germinated (Jul 3) using just the paper towel method * This method took longer to break the seed surface. On Jul 6 Decided to transfer all 3 seedlings into the Aerogarden. * Seed G1 had about 5cm roots. Some flowers already sprouting * Seed G2 had about 3 cm roots. Still had seed top. * Seed G3 had only just cracked . No length

During week 9 the flowering continued nicely and all plants developed nice flower crowns. Unfortunately I spotted some brown pistils on some plants and at this stage that only can mean they have been inseminated by pollen. Since I have no male plants around I thoroughly inspect the nodes of all plants from bottom to top. I am searching for hidden male pollen-sacks that have grown on my female plants and sure enough I find several ripe and open pollen sacks on three plants. This means those plants ARE HERMAPHRODITES, plants that have BOTH SEXES, they are female plants that also grow male pollensacks...my ABSOLUTE HORROR! The open pollen sacks have released pollen onto the female pistils around them and this turned the pistils brown. Where those fertilized pistils are, seeds will now start to grow inside the buds of my grow. 😢 After spraying water over the plants, in order to neutralize the free pollen inside, I carefully cut off the hermie-plants on the main stem right above the soil and immediately discard them far away from my grow-tent into the trash. Since I spotted the hermies early, I hope my grow will not be fully seeded, but only have a few seeds grow in some buds here and there. My fingers are crossed! My 'CHEESE'-plant from BIG BUDDHA SEEDS has turned a little yellow and developed some dark spots on the leaves, which I attribute to the plant standing alone in a tray now. She seems to be overfed a little and getting too much water to the roots. I therefore take her out of the water for a few days, in order to let the medium dry out a little and let the roots get some air. The SANlight EVO4-120 LED-lights work like a treat. They are now running at 100% dimm-level and are hung 30 cm above the top of the plants. The BIO NOVA nutrients are still given at half strength of the recommended dose and some plants seem to be overfed...I have to keep an eye on them.

All the plants are doing well. Banana #1 is definitely ahead of the others in her flower but the other two are coming along these are all taken on day 48. They are averaging a growth of 2 cm a day in growth. We have changed them the last two weeks to 18/6 lighting and it seems to be helping them in general. The last two watering they received no food as we felt we had been giving them too much nutrients and wanted to give them a wee break. They will be fed tomorrow. Still not sure what the yellow spots on the leaves are but I think it’s something to do with the nutrients they received, I had thought it was lack of Cal/Mag but no one else thought so. They have never been given Cal/Mag before.

So far this plant is looking good - it sprouted up nicely and now it’s starting to level off and put some growth into the first leaves! Just some info on the grow - I am growing in organic living soil. For the most part I use plain filtered water for my soil. There are somewhere between 300 -500 worms in the bed helping to keep things nice and happy! I also will plant a cover crop after I get my mainline built - I’ll let that cover crop get about six to eight inches tall and then I’ll smother that with straw which will give the worms and microbes in the soil a lot of yummy material to work with! The plants are lit up with a sweet COBB LED built by Timber Grow Lights - they’re the 3VL model which is 600 watts and dimmable from 10-100%. I currently have it set to about 20% and will ramp up later as I get towards flower. I’ll be keeping this updated - excited to log and share the process this time around!

The plants are ready to be chopped and hung for 3-5 days. I removed all the fans leaves and left them all branches on the main stem. The ladies smell so strong I can wait to see how they turn out when they are dried and cured. 1) I plan to hang them for 3-5 days @ 71 f and 50-55 RH, 2) Do a final tight trim 3) Than I will move them to jars and cure for 2-3 weeks I will update the diary with harvest pictures & weight before I move them to the jars for curing. I think the seeds might have got mixed up when packing because these three plants were all supposed to be the same and you can clearly tell from the pictures that they are not.

Hello Growers and Tokers! 👋 👩‍🌾 🧑‍🌾.🔥💨 Sorry for the delay on the weekly updates, had some things I had to attend but I'm back and at it! These pictures were taken a week after the 21 day flower defoliation, day 27 of flower to be exact. Great progress this week with the bud site, glad to see the defoliation is giving it's fruits. Buds are filling in space which is just what I want now, fill up as much space as possible that way in the fast weeks they can fatten up and be nice dense colas. CC1 & CC3 have the best trichome production and bud growth so far despite having the structure all messed up and uneven. I got some nice pics in of that half loop I was talking about last week. Every time I see it I think, ¨Man, I want to grow a canna bonsai." CC2 is doing great, bud formation is going a bit slower than the other two but it's still nice. I'm rooting for this one in highest yield because between the three because she has the most evenly divided canopy. The Aroma got MUCH stronger this week. When I open up the tent it's a sweet caramel punch to the face. Don't mind that punch at all! 😍😍 I've had to raise all my plants because the San Fernando Lemon Kush stretched more than I expected. Bad calculation on my part given it's a sativa I should have expected it would triple in height. So now I've got all my ladies on top of shoe boxes, Playstation box, old ballast boxes, pretty much any sturdy box I could fix. Before putting them in there I cleaned them down, making sure nothing unwanted would be joining the garden. Things look good so far, next week I'll be adding an organic PK boost to the feed. A big hello to all the cannabis growing gardeners...and all the other visitors that came across my grow journal. I'm a little bit late with starting this grow because the plants will finish around end of december or so, so i'm basically counting on a warm december :) It was supposed to start earlier, and I did germinate 11 seeds last month but only three of the lot sprouted out, it was totally my fault and i did abort that grow so we could start with a clean slate and at least four plants....so here we are ;) All three Do-Si-Dos seeds popped after 36 hours in a glass of water and after planting them in rockwool cubes all of them sprouted. My original plan was to grow Kalini Asia and all of the Kalini Asia seeds popped after 36 hours in a glass of water, but thanks to my thick awkward fingers the little seedlings were manhandled by my big hands and non of them came out from the rockwool cubes...my fingers are killers to most of my little sprouts :/ Sorry for that Zamnesia.
