Re-potted into ceramic pots today and, indeed, the bottom 3/4 of the soil was quite damp. The root system was larger than I expected but quite grey in color, not vibrant white. I'm going away for 10 days so I'll just leave these babies alone and hopefully they lively up themselves.

📆 Week 13, 4-10 April 2024 4-10 April - Let the plant grow and observed, assessing maturity. 📑 Buds have fattened up and matured. The trichome head colors are 80% milky, 10+% amber, and about 10% clear. All but a few pistil hairs are brown. She has a strong, sweet earth, gassy, berry scent. The plan now is to flush with RO water for a few days leaving lights on the same 12/12hrs schedule but turning power the down to 50% to help cool down the grow just before the cut. From what I understand putting plants in darkness may not be necessary according to a recent suggestion by Dr Bruce Bugbee. This practice he claims halts all plant activity without light. So I’m doing my own comparisons over the next few harvests. It will not hurt/gain much either way. I covered the basket with hydroton pebbles after this pic to prevent light leak into my reservoir. I also buried the rockwool to prevent algae growth. I rinse my clay pebbles with PH treated water to avoid reservoir contamination. The major structural issues is primarily due to the cold temperature of the water in my reservoir. It was hitting -30c temps outside. It took me a minute for it to set in that my reservoir temperature was the culprit. I had a water temperature regulator ordered; in the meantime, she kind suffers slow growth and wilting. DWC tip#2: If your water is cold, get a water warmer; Alternately, you will see if water is too hot, get a water chiller. Both extremes are really something you can’t ignore you should have a solution before germinating your seed.

Day 15 added grow. Feeding 1.5L per plant which gives a little run off. Pot drying out every 3/4 days and growing about an inch daily atm, big changes to come over the next 7-10 days really looking forward to seeing these grow taller

Bonjour a tous et toutes j ai enfin trouver le temp et la force de sortir les petites de la tante ;) et j ai malheureusement vue que 2 tête de ma melon gum commencer à avoir un peut de bud rot (je n ai pourtant jamais dépasser les 50% d humidité mais j doit dire que les têtes on triplé de volume en 1 semaine et pour la circulation de l air pas top ) j ai donc coupé tous cela et désinfecté aussi bien que je le pouvais, par la suite j ai augmenté l apport en air frais (rajout d 1 gros ventilateur) Autrement tous ce passe pour le mieux fin de semaine on passe au flusch 😉 voilà voilà (Ps= 2 plantes n ont pas été sortie je ne veut pas risquer quel casse vue la hauteur et le poids en bud mais promis vous les verrais bientôt

Tangie'Matic growing nicely, as expected. Really excited about growing this stain again at the end of my growing cycle. Tangie'Matic was one of the first strains I grew last fall and I really liked the results. But I'm hoping for even better results now with a few grows under my belt. I feel like I've learned a lot over the past few months. Hopefully it pays off here.👍

Day 71 - Starting week 11 and this is her final week. She will be getting chopped on Friday. She’s still has quite a bit of white pistils but just about 100% of the trichs are milky with about 30% amber so that’s telling me she’s ready. I’ve never tried the 72 hours of darkness before harvesting but because I need some room in the tent, I went ahead and took her out and placed her into a dark cabinet until Friday. She’ll have decent airflow in there so she should be ok until Friday. Day 72 - Nothing new to update as of now. She’s just hitting her first 24 hours of complete darkness. I’ll give her a quick peak tomorrow and see how she looks and then will give her 24 more hours and chop her on Friday. Day 73 - Just a few updated pictures before chopping tomorrow. It’s been almost 48 hours of darkness and I’m not seeing much of a difference in her but she is definitely smelling REALLY strong.

Week 6, day 43. Growth: The girls still grew a bit past week, #4 the biggest of them all is 71 cm. Buds started to develop on all 5 girls. I noticed a deficiency and took action but ill explain this down bellow:) Training: I did a selective defolation on all 5 girls. Maybe ill be picking off leaves that are in the way but there will be no more training. Im just going to let them do thier thing. Nutrients: 4 out of the 5 had little burned tips on the leaves because of overfeeding. Some of the plant's leaves are pretty dark so i think they did not like the feeding of 2.5ml Canna Terra Vega and 2.5ml Cannazym. Next feeding when the soil is day will be 2ml of Canna Terra Flores. Issues: I was hoping i was not going to need a "issues" section but im no pro so i expected some issues. So first issue was, Temp fluctuations: Its cold here and i have to set a timer on a 2000w heater battling the cold when the lights are off. I decided to run the tent 24/7 through flower to have a consistent temperature like our fellow grower Rudiak suggested. I added a new carbon filter and put a fan in the intake hole. now my temperature stays between 26 and 26.5 and humidity is also stable around 30 to 40%. This is my solution for this run but not a permanent solution. I think ill be removing the mars hydro 300 when setting up the new tent. It takes one heat source too many out the tent. i can cover the whole tent with the cob and reflector96. Nutrientburns, Nutrient lockout: Some of the girls look like they have a nitrogen toxicity and also some burned tips on the leaves so i skipped 2 feedings. I noticed i also had deficiencies, i suspected iron deficiency but i now think its nitrogen deficiency because the new growth is not effected. They got burned by the amount of nutrients they had last feeding so i assumed something wasnt right in the soil. I flushed the girls today with 24L per pot. with a ph of 6.6, the runoff was 5.9 and managed to get it to 6.4. Because of the big difference the ph in my soil mustve been really low causing the lockout. Lets hope everything will be ok after their first feeding after flush

01/01/2022 Potting up and amending with 5-2-4 to give a little kick before mid flower #6 is first girl to show herself, also got two different males and only difference is that one is lighter green and other darker green (also dark green one seems to drink more than lighter green) 💚. Other than that structure is very similar I wonder which is a better breeding male? I guess I might pollinate and LABEL TWO BRANCHES ON each female one for each male. and find out.🙏🏻 01/06/2022 #3 showed today, reppoted and into flowering closet, along with#6,who showed earlier this week lights at 14-10 see how they respond to that schedule, which should help use up the 5-2-4 going into week 3 should help with her stretch. Which isn't really that much I believe maybe double her current height, which I will check at lights on.Week ,#3 if I think of it I'll give a good fungal dominant tea.

I've cut down on grow at this point as the soil seems to have a lot. I'll feed for another week then think about Flushing. The kalimist will keep getting fed bloom and grow as its only been flowering for about 3 weeks due to taking longer to force flower.
