Hello world, 🇬🇷 the previous week was training week for Michelle,who was LSTed and for Lucy who was topped...the girls are fine and growing...they also got fed with the Enhancer,which scares me a bit,but everything went well... WEEK 5:"MAGIC PEOPLE,VOODOO PEOPLE" ☠️Day 29...out in the sun with normal temps and no wind...watered with ph 6,4,about 500 ml...I have changed my water pattern with these girls...I used to water every 3 days with 1,5 L but now I do it daily with less water...What I need now is light...I grow with the sun and the last days haven't been too sunny here...now the weather is changing again...come on Sun,give me some light!Meanwhile when it's sunny it's too windy,so windy that I have to put them inside as they will be seriously damaged... ☠️Day 30...I think instead of topping I may have fimmed Lucy...not sure as I have never done fimming before...Now I inderstand why they call it like that...in my case: Fuck,did I miss???🤣🤣🤣...we"ll see...however new shoots are growing well... ☠️Day 31...as I was watching my girls with pride and love,the sunlight revealed hundreds of tiny white bugs jumping on the soil..I mean they are hundreds...I sprayed with vinegar just the top layer of the soil and waiting to see... I made a grow question and I got a very interesting advice from a fellow grower...I sprayed with cinnamon extract...hope it will help... Today I applied LST to Lucy as she is getting very tall and lunky...she's been topped,LSTed and she will be topped again when time comes... ☠️Day 32...windy and rainy outdoors...the girls are inside...Today I adjusted Michelle's LST... ☠️Day 33...the weather is fucked up...one week ago we had 40°C and today it's cold and rainy...summer is not here yet....I realized I Fimmed Lucy instead of topping her as new growth came up on the cut stem...I cut it off again as I can't experiment now,I have never Fimmed before and don't know what to expect... ☠️Day 34...no sunlight for the girls...its very cloudy and may rain again...meanwhile the bugs are vanished...cinnamon and vinegar did their job... ☠️Day 35...finally we have some sun and the girls are outside...they have stayed a bit behind all those days inside without proper light... the week is ending,thank u all for watching..see u next week ☠️

So instead of chopping and losing anywhere from 4-8 ounces, I decided to just let them do their thing outside. I know it’s controversial to have a male outside and even more controversial to have a hermed female outside, but fuck it. I haven’t seen huge pollen deposits on leaves, and only a few open sacs, close to dropping. I pick em off if I see them. I am using small doseds of Lost Coast Plant Therapy for my IPM. It’s an all natural, “minimal risk” pesticide made using soap, soybean oil, peppermint oil, 70% iso alcohol, Sodium Citrate, Citric Acid, and water. Smells super good, does leave a slight film on the leaves because of the soap but does easily come off. I’m planning on doing 2 rounds of budwashing. Budwashing consists of: 5% hydrogen peroxide lemon juice Baking soda Water 3 five gal buckets. Fill one bucket with water and the ingredients, and then the last 2 with just water. Swish the plant matter in the first solution for 30-45 seconds, and rinse in the second two buckets of water, 20 for the first bucket and 30 for the second. Then take plant material and hang dry with a fan pointed directly on the hanging material for 2 days, and then resume normal drying conditions. Should leave no taste or residue behind and have no effect on terps or potency. I will update around august 4th-10th with finished bud pictures and the hanging plants. ALSO PICTURED: my 4 plant Webber grill turned grow container. Will show them off more once they start getting decent buds on them. Shown are: 2 Black Cherry Truffle X 41gs females, and in the 2 tin cans on top of grills soil is Slammer Skunk and Ego Death (both regs) from Terp_fi3nd. Will be watching those for males. The 34 street seed Cookies had Lot’s of LST and training this week! The girls did very well overall after being topped, and have recovered very nicely. I also finished up my drying my last harvest, so after a cleanup session, my big tent was ready to go again! This week was pretty easy, just watching the girls and adjusting the ties to keep the side branching going. I like to come in regularly and bend and twist the shoots between my fingers encouraging healthier stems. While I’m in there I’ll adjust the wire ties a bit to keep things even. After 2-3 days with the tie downs on, I’ll take them off and let the plant recover. With the environment dialled in at 79 degrees and 63% RH, it’s giving me a VPD of 1.0-1.1 , great for optimal growth. 💪 I think I am going to split the girls up, 4 (2 of eachin the one tent, 2 in my small tent, both with a Scrog in place. I’ll be transplanting this weekend, It won’t be long before these girls are ready for flower, October is a busy month for me so I may wait until the beginning of November to switch to flower light timing. 🔥 Off to week 3 we go with the start of Day 15! 🔥 Couldn't be much happier with the progress so far. All my cuties are developing nicely, gaining lots of leaves and the stems are getting more robust & thick every day. I now turned up my SF SE3000 to around 70% with 50cm distance. Halved the amount of Rhizotonic and now started adding Cannazym. I'm still going slow with watering and only upped the amount to ~ 250 ml. What I'm so far most pleasantly surprised with, is the fact, that all 4 cuties look the same. Another week down a whole week of 12/12 and I won’t say she’s stretching yet, I would have thought ild see son pistols by now but no.i know she’s healthy the cutting I took only took two days to fully root A few new things to add to the list of nutrients, this week she’s had a heavy top dress. Reaper, soil candy, and barley to kick start bloom, grow plus to make sure she has enough to stretch properly and the knf. Which I’ve add fermented fruit juice to now for bloom, Fermented fruit juice - I’ve gone hard to ferment this properly since using shop bought fruits, Bananas for potassium, blackberries and blueberries because that’s how I imagine a moonberry would taste 😂 I know it’s no going to influence the terps but still LAB for microbes and jsm ( leaf mould and potato in water to collect microbes in the water) And finally molasses. This brew took about three weeks. The light stayed the same high flipped to 12 hours and turned up to 75%. She will stay there until the plant reaches 30cm from the light. I thinkkkkk that wraps this week up might be a bit boring from here on out work wise butttt will be exciting watching her blow up, till next week. Let’s get it 💪🏽

D71. Week five of flower and the girls are simply doing their thing. I scouted the plants today and found thrips on the second girl. I was hoping the lacewings would have gotten them all by now, but no such luck. I'll give them a week before ordering another batch. For some reason, the thrips avoid the first girl. Visually, there's also a clear difference between the two girls, with the first girl being darker and having more buds. ------------------------------ D73. I brewed a short (6 hours) compost tea today consisting of worm castings, kelp meal, neem meal, humic and fulvic acid, rock dust, biochar, and molasses. After the brew, I added homemade Bokashi juice, which lowered the pH of the tea to 6.6. Each girl got 2.5 liters of tea (5% of pot volume.) I also did another light round of defoliation, down low on the plants. ------------------------------ D75. Each girl got 2.5 liters of water @ pH 6.5, with 5 ml of FFJ. The plants stretched SO MUCH after flipping them into flower that it's challenging for the light to penetrate the canopy, and it's pretty dark further down. I bought some LED grow light strips and installed them in the tent to provide additional side lighting. It's only 36 W of extra lighting, but I hope it will help to develop the numerous buds down low. I put the lights on the left side of the tent, around the first girl, since she has a lot more buds, but now that it looks like the concept works, I might get another set of lights for the right side of the tent. ------------------------------ D77. We've reached the end of the fifth week of flower, and all is well in the tent. Ahem, almost all since I still have the thrips to contend with, BUT I just put a bunch of Cucumeris predatory mites in the tent, so the war rages on. A friend suggested adding white cloth below the plants to reflect more light toward the lower buds. Sounds plausible, but I didn't have any fabric, so I went all ghetto by simply putting strips of kitchen paper on top of the scrog net. Not the most fantastic reflector material ever, but it's what I had at hand. Plus, it's easy to work with and costs next to nothing. I doubt it will make a big difference, but even a slight increase is still an increase, and I could see a visible difference in the amount of light hitting the lower canopy. Finally, each plant got 2.5 liters of water @ pH 6.3, with FFJ and Bokashi Juice. ------------------------------
