Hello Diary. We have reached the end of this journey. Ten weeks in total, three weeks of vegetation and seven weeks of flowering, a total of 78 days since Sherbet Queen sprouted. Last week there were no surprises, I watered the plants regularly and observed the development of trichomes. As all three plants started to show here and there some brown trichomes at the end of the week, I decided on the 71st day to harvest. All in all I am very pleased with the look of the plant, it has developed nicely, the flowers are large and juicy and the smell is citrusy diesel. I had to connect the branches well because they started to bend a lot due to the weight, so I was afraid they would break because I wanted to place it nicely for the last photo shoot. It will now dry upside down for at least two weeks in the dark. The ventilation will stay on to make the airflow better. The condition in the grow box is satisfactory, the temperature is around 29 degrees and the humidity is slightly lower than 50%, and one fan blows all the time, mixing the air in the box. Here’s what the last week looked like. 19/07/2021 - Day 65. Watering. I adjusted the p.H to 6.3 and with 8 liters of water I watered all three plants evenly. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 30 degrees and 51% humidity. 21/07/2021 - Day 67. Watering. p.H 6.4. Same procedure as two days earlier. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 28 degrees and 41% humidity. 23/07/2021 - Day 69. Last watering. p.H I dropped to 6.4. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 29 degrees and 48% humidity. 25/07/2021 - Day 71. Photography and Harvest. After taking photos and video, I cut off the plant at the bottom of the stalk and hung it in a grow-box to dry in the dark. Whenever I write a report from the last week, some nostalgia overwhelms me after the harvest. Yet during that time you take care of that plant, send it positive energy, and hope it will reward you richly. In this case, I think I succeeded. See you soon with the final report.

Alright grow cycle, mistakes, improvements, etc... She did stay in veg for too long, her growth was slow and not the best and so she took quite long, next time i'll be there from the beginning so I can take care of her throughout. But her growth is really fun. It is a tall growing sativa with fairly tight noding when trained accordingly, producing long filled colas. The buds grow fairly dense and fluffly but do air out a little when dried. Trichome production was pretty impressive as well as terpene production. She had thrips since her early days but did not seem to mind them at all. I did spray them initially but once flower started I stopped. I believe predatory mites might have been feeding on the pupae in the soil, if that is what this specific species of thrips did, the reason I say that is I could never see adults only larvae. Whatever the case maybe they were there but the population never really increased. Something I did not mention during the grow is that those plants were played music during the days, music that is apparently developed for plants. The 10L pot was WAY too small for a true sustainable living organic and to provide enough space for the plant, that was a mistake, I'd say a 20L would be the bare minimum and still. The bigger the better. The hempy transfer did not hurt the plant and I believe even helped to some extent, BUT, I am still running test on the subject and so can't confirm anything, here are my observations Roots did not colonize the perlite, a little on top and the sides but that was it, I was expecting to see a big root mass in there. I believe hempy are great for salt fert as it hold a soup of nutes where the plant can feed from since the coco only holds very little Whereas in nature most nutrient are in the top soil where the highest amount of decomposition happens, this is where the highest microbial activity happens and so where the plant will find food. Living organic is trying to reproduce nature and so there is no need for the plant's roots to gather at the bottom of the pot. Although it could have potentially provided the plant access to a larger amount of water and possibly more oxygenation of the pot. Those are all theories, please speak up if you have other proofs. In conclusion , unless i get proven otherwise by someone or my latest running experiment , I will not be using hempies again as I believe it brings more complication and issues than a simple fabric pot. The lights, The 600w at the start was good, then I decided to add a 400w...😂 That was completely overkill and not necessary. Waste of electricity. And they started suffering from too much light it seems at some point, I raised the light by a good 30 cm and they were fine. 600 is more than enough. I am happy about how the soil performed but it has room for improvements. As for the watering technique I have been watering large ammount every few days, next time I will be giving constant small amount of water each day and a soak every week or so, I believe the soil might perform better under those conditions. She was also an easy plant to harvest whit her long colas which had very little foliage, I do trim in excess as I like my buds extra clean but the buds are not excessively bushy. The trims were use to make some bubble hash, around 100g of wet trims yielded around 1.5-2g of bubble hash. I did add a negative effect but only because it wouldn't give me a smile otherwise, but to be honnest it barely dries your mouth. The soil is going to be recycled and reused in a next grow. I can't think of anything else at the moment but if you have any question don't hesitate.

In my first few grows, I was hitting around 30 grams of dry weight, my buds weren't "fattening up", and I was underwhelmed by my results. So, I started again, and I've completely rebuilt my grow area. Lessons learnt: 1. Light REALLY REALLY REALLY matters! I started out by using a 35w led panel. I then "upgraded" to a cheap 100w grow light. I thought these would be good enough, and to some extent they were. However, since the rebuild, I invested in a Mars Hydro TS1000, which was significantly more expensive than the other two. I'm absolutely astounded by the results. If you're starting your grow journey, buy the best you can afford. The light is the most important part of the build, and if you get that right, the rest is a doddle. 2. Tents are worth the money. I originally had my stealth grow up in the loft, but have instead bought a small budbox tent, and that, combined with the light, has made a huge difference to the maintenance of a stable growing environment. For the first time, I am seeing fat buds, and it's a thrill. I at last know what people mean now when they say their buds are fattening up, because mine are visibly 2 or 3 times bulkier than those of my first 4 or 5 grows. And there's a lot of them. Previously I'd get the main bud on the main stem, and some smaller buds around that. My smaller buds are now almost equal in size to my main before, and my main makes me drool. I cannot wait to harvest. 3. Control pH. Stay on top of this, and keep it in the optimal range to the best of your ability. Buy a chap pH meter, and do your measures regularly. Make adjustments to the best of your ability. This means doing maths, and I've yet to get a formula that works well enough to be precise in terms of weights and measures of up/down agents, but small changes rather than wild swings are the way forward. 4. Try not to stress your girls out. I've had two grows go hermie on me. Too much LST, too much chopping and too much variation in conditions - water, nutrients and environment. 5. Don't give up. I'm not much of a smoker, but I so very much enjoy being a gardener. There's something deeply satisfying in knowing that you are getting it right. Sort of plays to my competitive nature. I'll take some pictures later, and show you what I mean.

HST"ed some of her.17th/may 7th/June Power Buds really helped build lots of tight stigmata. Sorry about missing wk 7 and half of 8. Colas are getting big loving the light. Developing lovely fade around the leafs the past 2 weeks. Drinks like a fish. 2L a day easy on her last 10-14 days. Doing really well. 7th/June foxtailing is happening as you can see. She's very sticky and is still pushing. There's nothing I can do about the heat. Nothing. All I can do is lower the light intensity that now. Its been set at 90%.⁰ Am dealing with crazy temps like 35c on ave can go up to 39c. Am finding it hard to keep the stomata vents going. Seedlings are pushing through. I do see signs of stress. Possible foxtailing coming. Not much I can do with the temp. Stomatas are been kept open with fan power. I've 4 running nonstop. 1 full Osc one and 3 others that blow parts of the plant but its more designed to keep the co2 in the middle of the tent. It's taken me 2 weeks to find thy optimal way to manipulate co2 movement. If you don't have the fans right. You are just wasting money. I've seen s 50-30% increase in rate of just seedling growth that I prove. From 55ish strains that 95% ran from 9-10 Days the rare long one. But, I'm seen seedlings turn into vegging plants in an average of 6 days. Some as early as 4.5-7.5 days. Most are 6. And then they're flying through veg too. HST & defoliation HST was done early pre flower the nodes actually split and fell over. Mended itself up. Tbh, there is no real benefit to HST'in autos. I've done it many times now. The nodes that were HST"ed didn't vary much if at all. The whole plants buds are hard. Foxtailing like a bitch. But comes with the environment growing indoors in summer with co2 with 35c temp on average, power buds was used as soon as I seen stigmata and until pre fower ended. SE5000 light used for co2 growing. Doing a great job. Helps to have a great sensor. This spectrum is great. Even with high temps that should have vents closed if using say 1 spectrum but, this light is able to keep the plants eating with high temps. Has gave all my plants great fade. Next wk. I'll higher the light and lower it and start focusing on the crop this light was issued for. But, its done a great job at finishing my crop. Thanks to my sponsor from Zamneisa. The statistics on Frostbanger indicate 50-day flower. Pics show mostly clear and milky. There are a few with amber trichs and many orange pistils indicating maturation. At least 3 more weeks for maturity on these gals. I continue manual control of the environment and using 3 circulating fans and the 4” exhaust vent from my 3x3. I have the AC pushing air in and the exhaust pulling air out. This creates a neutral pressure tent environment-neither positive nor negative. It looks like growth has stopped and plant height has been reached. Now is the time for buds to fatten and frost up. All 6 of them are short remaining less than 3 ft. They range from 15 to 31 inches. #4, 5 &6 are showing some fade, particularly #4. Upon opening the tent, a melon smell comes off the buds if I get close, and more stickiness was observed during the process of defoliation. They are living up to the new strain’s name. #5 is the frostiest followed by #2. Wow week 3 of flower and that much frost already. I provided you with a close up video of each plant and one video where i go through tent and try to focus some nice buds individually. Flushing her for 5 days already with a mild 400 ppm solution of terpinator and mammoth. There she is, the prima donna of my tent, biggest and densest buds, check week one, i thought she was a rotten seed.. Smell is very interesting undescribeable to me i will wait some more time, maybe the moment when i grind her to give the best description.. I rate her 10 days to 2 weeks until harvest, all plants but one automatica are more less coming down in the same time.

After 85 days of growing I havest. Plant hung up whole to dry. 5 days later by 21°C/ 45% r.h. It's trimming time.

8th week! The plant has a slight guava scent, very interesting! Nice growth rate and no problems so far.

Day 37. Girls are flowering !!!! Yesterday I gave them heavy feed . Checked ppm only at the end - 1550 ;))))) thought they will burn, leaves went curly during day and I had to spray them with BioHeaven really often .. Night photo shows all good so , I will give bacterial feed next watering and will do one more feed bomb. Will target my favourite 1200, but you never know ... ;))) Hopefully tomorrow I will dump last Northern Lights and will rearrange all tent. Second wave of FB needs bigger pots too ... It's amazing what they did under that little light, but I think WeedSeedExpress grow proved - all Mars Hydro SP light line - pure joy for grower !!! SP150 will go to grow wonderful plants in Wooster very soon ... One more grower will be born ! ;))) Busy busy busy ;))) Day 40. Two girls got supercrop, they stretched too much. Both got bottom clearing too, other girls still left for a week, till any training will be done . After 6 hours girls are looking up already and all is good , just overcrowded ;)))) Happy Growing !!!

Been flushed twice this last few weeks. One Headband is harvested but will wait for the other this week. Cheese is coming down tomorrow.

The plant stretched a bit and the weather was quite bad for the month of May. But in general, the first week of growth went well!

For my first run I am happy with my results even though the yield was very low . The banana cake is frosty and has a great nose on it . The bud has white ash and overall it tastes great . I will be doing another grow soon and Im going switch it up . Going to be a great next grow so don’t miss it .
