12/22/21 - The plants look great! We have taken some fan leaves off. Keeping the airflow moving to avoid any powdery mildew. We are going to make topical salve with trim and popcorn nugs. We usually make butter for edibles but we’ll try something new. 12/23/21 - They look really good. Today we have fresh water for a semi flush. We will begin with nutrients and then flush 10 days before harvest. 12/24/21 - The humidity is finally on our side, ranging between 40-50%. We are very happy and excited as the buds continue to grow! 12/25/21 - Merry Christmas! The plants look great! Lots of neat colors in there. Each strain is showing off its own color. Check out todays pictures. 12/26/21 - They look really good today. Humidity is at 45%. Harvest is coming up pretty quick and we are excited. 12/27/21 - Looking good today. Just feeding them and letting them flower away. The buds are getting pretty big and dense. 12/28/21 - They look insane. Going to feed them the last of the nutrients listed above and next week start plain water/flush until harvest. Check out the two videos above!

Today 7/30/19, day 57 and the start of week 9. I'm still continuing to alternate between days with my pesticide treatment (especially after finding that bug living on one of hulkberries fan leaf) and thrive alive green daily foliage spray as a prophylactic solution against any possible pests or mold going into these last few dog days of veg. I will flush them with distilled ph'd water for two days this weekend in preparation for flower. Then I'll start them on some "flower fuel" bloom booster on top of my secret for success flower recipe at 1/4 of the recommended strength. Outside of that still no adverse issue to report for the end of the 8th week. After my last trim, they both have responded very nicely, I was kind of worried about fat banana stalled growth. But one thing I noticed when I topped her at the 6th node, yes the main stem stopped growing but it developed many bud sites up and down every stem. Whereas hulkberry was topped at the 8th node, she has mainly focused on developing long stems and only 2 or 3 bud sites along her stems. Even though hulkberry in structure, is much bigger than fat banana and has a way bigger root system. Fat banana is bushier and has developed way more bud sites than hulkberry. I can't tell which strain will yield the most at this point only time will tell! Also, a big shout out to "J"@RQS, thank you for the excellent customer service. Another reason why Royal Queen Seeds is top 3 in breeding!!

Switch to flowering stage Day #38 12/12 with red LED light from tonight on. ScrOG net Is on. Pots are still wet, no need to water. I defoliated a little bit, then I'll let the alone for a while. I need to find a environment for the clones. It stresses me a bit but I don't want to kill those 4 little clones, not voluntarily. Day #40 I still tend to water too much but I'm slowly learning. Watered until saturated with Biogrow and Atami B Cuzz a +b (for coco, whatever),a swell I added a bit of magnesium nutrient by Cifo, a garden store brand. Trying to understand how to ScrOG. I built a small growbox with leftovers from my garage. Not a penny was spendt in this operation. Clones are still alive. Starting a new diary. Last night reading blogs I discovered 💡🌟🔆 Photone App 💡🌟🔆, a free grow light meter https://growlightmeter.com/download/ They also have a web guide to establish how much light your canopy needs in the moment https://growlightmeter.com/calculator/ . In pre flower it figured out I need 1100 umol of red LED light (calculation DLI). I adjusted my light height accordingly, It was too close. Very, very useful. Those guys in switzerland deserves a huge kudo. Day #42 Growth Is fast. I snapped a branch trying to ScrOG so I repaired It with wire, as I done with tomato before. Watered with some broth and my own nutrient I use in my garden. I defoliated a Bloom that was facing down. Humidity at 60%, I'm struggling with It a bit. Dehumidifier in the room Is now set at higher setting. Happy growing. Any advice is apreciated.

19.07.21 Moin liebe grower Gemeinde hab gestern (Sonntag 18.07.21) die ersten 3 Ladys wieder getoppt und endblättert danach habe ich alle 4 Äste, (bei jeder Lady) versucht auf eine hohe aus zu richten was ganz gut geklappt hat.mir is aufgefallen das alle Ladys gleichmäßige nodien produzieren bis auf purps OG Nr. 3 die hat an einem Ast tatsächlich 4 neue auf einem Haufen wie auf dem Bild zu sehen ist ich gehe Mal davon aus das es durch den Stress verursacht wurde vom toppen,denke Mal das solche Anomalien normal sind und werde den Spass weiter beobachten hab wieder was zum lernen gefunden 😎😎😎😎😎 Mal sehen wie sich das ganze entwickelt denke Mal das ich Mittwoch oder Donnerstag Lady nr.4 in ihren endtopf setzen werde und dann auch gleich weiter Main Laining an den ersten 3 weiter führe. Ach ja zu den 3 Stecklingen in der Mitte habe vor sie die Tage nach draussen zu setzen ich weiss ist ziemlich spät dafür aber ich liebe Experimente, bis die Tage und euch, die alle bald ernten und auf dem Weg dorthin sind wünsch ich ne reichlich Fette Ernte mit glitzernden disco Kugeln🕺🕺🕺🕺🕺😁😁😁😁😁 22.07.21 habe gestern die ersten 3 Tomaten Ringe gebaut sind jeweils 5x35 cm Zaundraht die ich eingedreht habe (also sozusagen eine Öse), habe dann alles nochmal auf gleiche länge geschnitten und mir ein langes Stück Draht ca anderthalb Topfumrandungen lang. Stäbe am Topfrand verteilen wie sie ca stehen sollen und dann den Draht einfädeln und zum Schluss überstehendes mit Kabelbindern (Strapse) fest zurren ezzzz. jetzt stehen die Stäbe ca 14 cm über dem Topfrand. Drückt mir die Daumen das alles so klappt wie ich mir das vorstelle is das erste Mal das ich mit dem Tomaten Ring arbeite. Zu purps OG Nr. 4 die ist heute in ihren endtopf um gezogen, werde Sonntag dort dann auch auf 8 Äste toppen und danach den Tomaten Ring einbauen euch allen noch ne Ernte reiche Woche

Ya visteis , cultivo fácil, de principio a fin, pocos errores una pérdida tan solo de 4 ejemplares y por dejadez. Pero enserio si todo se hace correctamente vais a flipar lo rápido que van y después lo buenas que están. Humedad en el secado por debajo de 45% y temperatura media de 23 grados. Hasta aquí es todo fumetillas, que paséis un final de año de lujo entre buenos humos.

Commencing Week 7: day 43 on January 12th Today I left the dirty girls (I call them that because they are in soil 😋) out of the tent for their first time in their lives to hang out with some new girlfriends (my photoperiod s). They seem very happy to be hanging out with them 👍👍 The other day I took one of my personal photoperiod Crosses and pollinated one of the bottom flowers of the bloody skunk, hopefully seeds will be coming soon :-) Today I started thinking about how much longer they have left and it seems the bloody skunk is nearing the finish Line already. In the beginning of this diary I wanted to achieve the goal of getting some autoflower seeds by taking one of the syrup strains and cross breeding it but none of my syrups strains made it from seed for some reason. So now I'm thinking about taking the top bud off of bloody skunk in the next week or two and letting the rest of the plant go through rodelization so I may still achieve that goal. We shall see. Thanks for the great genetics everyone attention and support. Won't be long now till I actually get to do a harvest report 😎👍

The flowers develop very quickly, we can clearly see its autoflowering genes. A strong tropical smell is felt. The tips of the leaves are a little burnt Because of the strong sea wind loaded with salt...but not worrying for the future.

Day 84 from seed Each auto is in different flowering weeks So post is sorta confusing as my first diary Sorry! Everything seems to be doing good. Just been feeding water since last update. I will have new lights soon 4800 evo from mars hydro 2024 version planning to harvest the GDP before switching the lights out. Day 87 swapped the light to the mars hydro 4800 evo 2024 model running 40-50 percent 12-20 inch from cannopies adjusting them slowly to new light and much higher pffd than before

Two of the girls have been battling a nitrogen toxicity issue due to over feeding at week 5/6 but they are still looking pretty nice. The buds are really starting to give off a nice citrusy aroma up close on the tallest plant.

How did you create/breed Freakshow? A. Methodical selection, line breeding, and culling is the short answer. Read our About page for more details. Q. Is it an indoor or outdoor type? A. Everything I've ever worked has been outdoors, including of course Freakshow. It has been our experience that outdoor (or sun grown, as it's recently being referred to) cultivars seem to perform extremely well under artificial conditions. The opposite is not always true; indoor clones often give an outdoor grower headaches because they don't always make the transition smoothly. Also, considering the amount of continuous shameless hybridization that has occurred in the last 40 yrs., any modern kind could easily contain over 40 kinds. In the case of Freakshow, it's much more limited because the ancestry is largely older "Sativas" that didn't go through as much outcrossing. In the 70s in Santa Cruz, Haze was a favorite among surfers for the pure energy and I still have (greatly improved) stock of it around, simply because even when I made hybrids with it I always kept the original in pure form for obvious reasons. Q. What is the psychoactive effect like? A. Like the flavors, many people have commented that the "buzz" is somewhat different than other mainstream types out there. It's not entirely out of the scope of imagination that given that this strain has new alleles in so many other respects, that it could also contain new, unique cannabinoids, as well as new and unique terpenoids, some of which may not even be among the standard 16 or so that the average lab is testing for. Aside from the up, cerebral, energetic boost, some report a mild time/space warp effect. Creativity and idea induction should be mentioned, for sure. Freakshow has the pure energy effect and greatly alters perception to the positive side, so definitely destroys depression. Appetite suppression is a side effect, but the enjoyment of food is enhanced. I personally will attest to all of the above. We all have different receptor profiles, so these are just generalizations. I thought I better clarify this because there are a few people thinking that because of an article "Growing Marijuana that Doesn't look like Marijuana" that mentions that I had worked web-leaf types years ago and had eventually turned that into Freakshow. This is incorrect and I'm needing to get ahold of the writer to have him change it. When I read the piece and saw the mistake I figured it didn't matter that much, that the actual method of breeding could just remain a "trade secret". Recently, I noticed online that a posting, "Freakshow only exists because of duckfoot" by Curious Cannabis Connoisseur, where he explains how I developed Freakshow using Duckfoot. Let me explain, about 20 yrs. ago a friend gave me a jar of seeds labeled "BC Bigbud" and I sprouted flats of hundreds to look for oddities and had found one web-leaf pheno which we named Webster. It was a female so I bred it to a normal leaf male and began selecting and stabilizing a line of Webster. About 5 or 6 generations later I had nailed it to 100% webs and had also stabilized it for a deep purple color and a nice "gingerbread" terp profile. I was busy working other lines at that point so I put Webster in the library. Also, I was having a hell of a time getting a pheno of it that flowered to my satisfaction. (it seemed to finish with a limited number of calyxes). I knew I would have to outcross it to something with a big tasty bud and restabilize it for web-leaf, and I no longer had the original BC Bigbud. I still have the Webster seeds, and trust me the thought has crossed my mind to make the cross with Freakshow, but why? Why mess around crossing things just to create something even weirder? I have heard that the "Duckfoot" also doesn't bud up well so maybe there's a correlation there. Anyway, people can do what they want to and I will too, but crossing Freakshow with some low-THC crap like ABC is in my opinion idiotic. I worked extremely hard stabilizing and perfecting a beautiful new subspecies and I believe it should be kept pure. I won't go on a rant here about the rampant crossing and the lack of line-breeding in the cannabis world in the last several decades, or where this will eventually lead us, but I will say that it's not in a good direction. Bottom line....Freakshow has no web-leaf genes, it was made using top-grade tropical narrow-leaf drug (NLD) cultivars. Q.Why is Freakshow patented? A. Although I and most others (including all the folks at HSC) believe in and subscribe to the concept of "open sourcing" because sharing in cannabis genetics was always the cultural norm, it was decided that Freakshow should be protected (1) because it is a novel and unique, not a preexisting strain (or even subspecies), (2) To keep the greedy corporate big boys from exploiting it, (3) To maintain control of the genetic refinement of it in all future generations. 420Fastbuds FBT2303/Week11 Weekly update on these chunky girls. Did a defoliation this week on them taking off some of the bigger fan leafs. The flowers have swollen noticeable this week which is crazy as they were huge before. Over all seeing fading in the leafs as they get close to finishing up. Starting to see some amber in the trichs which is an exciting time. All in all Happy Growing

Well, I shouldn’t have spoken so quickly. There was actually a start of bud rot on the top bud, as visible in the video. (I had opened it beforehand, it didn't break by itself) I removed the damaged part and a bit more before hanging the plant. I let the two bottom branches grow for a few more days as planned, since there are still white pistils shooting and the buds look healthy. I weighed the plant with the stem at 250g. I think there’s about 100/120g of stem (I weighed a small portion and did the proportionality). So, I am expecting around 150-175g of wet buds for this harvest, counting the two remaining branches.
