hey entering week 8 flowering, the smell is low but really nice. still struggling with plants height, i had to supper crop the bigger one as i said, then another one, and today again the last one; anyway plants look healthy and happy so i am too. day 59 update. I had to bend it over again the same two branches because the plant still try to get upper and upper.

Day 95 GDP harvested and starting dry process. Day 95 for the Tropicana cookies purple auto and northern thunderfuck auto. Both looking great. Tropicana really starting to reek the whole tent out sweet funky arouma. Looks light it’s starting to fade out nitrogen as well 🤞 Northern is stacking up buds hopefully will continue fattening for a couple more weeks. Soil all the flower tents look very alive and healthy. Lots of wigglers thriving under the mulch layer.

Final week for the blue dream The fade came fast i didnt even flush Its a small plant but thet yield will be great, i grew her in soil to see if i could fit 9 in my 4x4 and the answer is yes

Added yellow sticky fly traps to all cubes as a preventative measure to avoid infestation of fungus gnats. So far none have been spotted. Defoliated and did a little more LST to all the plants to open up the center and give more light to lower shoots. Blue Dream 3 and Chemdawg 3 started showing some discoloration on the leaves (yellowing around the veins) and also the leaf tips curling down. Did some research and came up with this... Possible diagnosis: - Yellowing around leaf veins could be a sign of Magnesium or Iron deficiency - Leaf tip curling down could be a sign of Nitrogen Toxicity. - Both could be caused by improper ph balance in water Possible solutions: - Applied Botanicare CalMag+ as a foliar feed and added some to the reservoir. CalMag+ contains Calcium, Magnesium and Iron. - Diluted nutrients in reservoir to lower amount of nitrogen being fed to plants. Was feeding them at 1300ppm, lowered it to 1050ppm - Tested runoff and saw it was coming out at 5.4pH so I increased the pH in the reservoir to 6.0. Now the runnoff is testing at 5.7pH, meaning that my rootzone is in the optimal range of 5.5-5.8 Well wait and see how the plants react to these slight tweaks. Hopefully we start to see a nice healthy even green again.

Flip to flower next week. Really exited to see how this goes ! Vigorous growth for there age.

Went away for a few days so missed some photos but they’re looking good

got bitten by a spider and realized i was always wondering what my spiritual animal was, and realized it was spiders after that awakening of asking mother natures help me and spiders made a blood pack and since then nature has been helping me out by protecting my plants, from thieves and bad rotten people. and nature gave me spiders to protect my children. one of my spiders thats protecting the rooibaard is called GREGGK.

Because of the start I had I ended up having to use all 3 seeds. Only 2 germinated. The lemon pie went from seed to harvest in 93 days. This was the only plant that I had any real problems with during the grow. I accidentally broke one of my colas shortly after I topped her, so instead of 6 mains I only had 5. She also looked very sorry for herself for a long time, like she was being over watered. Anyway she went from a duck to a Swan. Turned out with some real nice colour to her, she could have really done with another week in the tent to hit her full potential.

Topped the plant on Sunday and she is doing awesome by Wednesday. Let me know what you think about the video! I may do more once I’m feeling better and have this go pro a little more figured out. Maybe some timelapse. And excuse the voice in the video, I’m currently sick.

This particular one requires a fair bit of attention with defol but certainly worth the effort, she’s dripping with resin already. Added an extra fan to keep air moving over and humidity down . Same same next week

1/25 Week 11 Ripley : Flushing begins with a five gallon flush to move the runoff to under 200ppm and defoliated by pulling almost every leaf on a stem, and god what a bunch there were. This opens the plant and removes those sources of nuets. Going to doing this as quickly as we may so will be monitoring runoff as we go. Tara: Slight Defoliation just trying to keep these leafy SOBs open. Back on Heavy dose of CocoTek and placed in best light I can we just watching the bud growth for how to help this big girl. Will not pick up Peak again until ready to withdraw the CT. Better pics when I can 1/26 Ripley : Second day of flush just keep running water through it till runoff gets low no longer PHing the water, nothing much left in there anyway. Fading really showing now Tara -Zilla : She likes the nuet and light change buds really building now Not getting any taller 1/27 New pics of Ripley she is getting so damn frosty in flush Tara building buds very quickly 1/28 Continuing flush on Ripley, she will be harvested in two days, its fast but we need the space. Tara no changes except more buds 1/30 Ripley removed from tent for harvest. Opened up Tara's binds. Tara now the Queen of all she surveys... Entering the 12th week and she is looking and smelling great. Lots of bud sites developing nicely. Super happy with how well the mainlining worked out for this auto. And still few more weeks still to finish up! Cheers 😎

Plant therapy had been amazing. Winter is my hardest time of the year. I actually usually use a supplementary light during the winter to help with my mood and I wonder if being around the LEDs has any similar positive effects. I know the nuturing and process of growing has been a great practice of patience and almost meditative for me. Plants are friends. I believe the plants are well. I have a microscope to keep my eyes on trichomes maturity. I hope they all end around the same time. I would like to chop/dry them together in the tent.
