Another week has flown by! The girls are doing great, cruise control this week as I have just been monitoring RH and temps. Trying to keep them as low as possible, I’ve been getting as low as 74 during the day and 68 at night. I finally took a look a look at the trichomes with my jewellers loop, lots of cloudy, and a few amber around the leaves and top colas, but still lot’s of clear trichomes. I’ve ordered myself a wireless/usb digital microscope to assist with the process, and looks like it will be here just in time to determine harvest day. 😎🎄 I started by eliminating the nutrients at the beginning of the week. I typically allow for 3-4 pure water feeds before I harvest, and at the rate they have been drinking, this should be enough to get through the 7-12 days they have before harvest. I don’t flush, but rather “rinse” with normal water amounts, allowing the plant to use up the remaining nutrients in the soil. This also allows me to recover most of the soil from my grows and reuse ♻️ with other soil mix. There has been great debate and a great deal of bro science out there for many years, but the recent studies suggest there is no difference in end result when it comes to flushing or using nutrients right until the end, if a proper dry and cure is performed. In the last week the water was freshly mixed with Canna Flush and an Ec of 0.4 in order to completely use up the nutrients in the last few days 👍. You can see it on the beautiful autumn yellow leaves :-). Before harvesting, the lights were turned off completely for 48 hours. After everything was neatly trimmed by hand, the buds were put into the drying tent, where they are allowed to dry for the first 8-12 days at a humidity of 62% before they ferment with 62% boveda packs in jars. After another 3-4 weeks in the glasses, the 58% boveda packs come in for the final touch :-). Of course, the final update comes from the fermented end product 👍. Right now I'm flushing with my homemade substance, it pushes pretty much clean, planning to harvest next week. Before harvesting I will let these girls sleep for 48 hours, hoping that a purple color will appear. Currently night temperatures are around 19 to 15 degrees.

This week unfortunately I am taking the not so good frosty gelato out of environment... Been 0% progress and not enough bud sites to keep her. One of each left - Vanilla Frosting & frosty gelato Both still looking fabulous the flower nutrients have now been removed leaving the ripen at full strength but cal mag is now half the amount Next week is start of flush week.

Aus allen Cuts mache ich aktuell Clones. Ich liebe Clones aus den Main Cuts. Daraus mache ich dann Mutterpflanzen. Die Mutterpflanzen von den besten Phenos bleiben.

Went lower on EC this week to give the plant a little time to regenerate and pack some more before harvest. The dehumidifier is pulling less and less moisture out of the air every day, this is a additional sign to me that the plant is nearing its end. I can never talk bad on auto flowers. I did not pay much attention to these girls and it shows but the genetics from FASTBUDS were so good that the quality of the buds was still A1. I bought more FASTBUDS seeds and will grow them in my new setup and hopefully I can maximize the yields this time around.
