Nutrient concentration is 850 ppm, room temperature daytime up to 26°C, nighttime up to 22°C, CO2 concentration up to about 850 ppm, and humidity at 50%. The light schedule is 18 hours of light and 6 hours of darkness. PPFD — 700. Nothing was changed in the parameters. The plants continue to gain mass. They've grown even more. Growth is good, height already exceeds 125 cm. Visually, there are no deficiencies or burns; the bushes are developing very vigorously and absorbing their 850 ppm well without salt buildup. We did defoliation, removed a decent amount of leaves, probably 20 kg wet. We'll send them for extraction. This week has gone well. 6 plants in such a small space is playing havoc with the humidity but I feel I'm just about on it enough not to cause any rot. Thankfully , commercial savvy has now made buying it in ready to use and with a full range of beneficial bacteria ect available in amendments from a grow shop here in the uk. ecothrive have realised the potential for us to dive into this medium with all the mixing , measuring and resourcing. I bit the bullet and £150 later I now have 4 x37Litre pots that will be used for as long as I want to feed the soil for without EVER needing nutrients again potentially. The coco has also had charge mixed in to encourage the bennies to colonize there too. I will be using the shogun nutes that I know do the business with coco to compare with for yield , growth and taste. I have 3 seeds each of 4 Fast Buds Strains to use as a control for the grow and am journaling each strain in their own diaries. This statement will be used to start each one as the information is identical at this point but following this I will do them individually. I am now starting their second week since opening the seed packets , straight into soaked and shook root riot cubes and into the heated propagator. They had all showed their heads by end of day 3 and a couple needed helmet surgery to open up without being hindered . I have has them in the prop for a few days but they needed to get settled as they were popping roots out all over the cubes. They have now been in their final pots for 2 days complete and starting their 3rd today at day 8 since planting in cubes. I am impressed with the speed and success of these girls already (12 of 13 germinated) . Well done fast buds. So here we go folks , any comments , ideas ,questions , advice are always welcome and I hope we can have some fun experimenting with defol v non defol , topping v fimming v bending and any other curiosities along the way. Looks like the stretch has officially come to an end and with it, the first signs of trichome production have started to show up!✨ Unfortunately, the plant stayed pretty small despite being in a 20L pot, which is a bit of a bummer. I was hoping for more size, but hey let’s see what she can deliver in quality! Sometimes the small ones pack the biggest punch. 😏 Excited to see how the buds develop from here!😊

Good start for 1st diary.. Good grow!

Ok this week is going well. Some of them are stretching more then the others and that's ok. Of the little bit of smells I got from them just buy rubbing a frosty sugar leaf the 1st "blue" plant has hints of mint, the 2nd "red" smells like generic weed and the 3rd "yellow" is kinda a mix of the both. I was thinking they wold have stretched more but guess not. Still have another week or two before the stretch is done and its starts to thicken up. Plants are showing some signs of something, have not looked into to much but the blushing of the leaves on plant #1 "blue" could be from my heavy hand at water or cooler nighttime temps that have been hitting it. This is the one that is having the most issues. Because of this I did a soil slurry test of all three pots and they all had aorund the same EC but the PH was different in each by a significant amount. it went up from plants 123 it is to high in plant 3 and kinda high in all the others as well yet looks fine, and the one with the highest PH its the biggest of them all. go figure. Could have been a bad sample. I did not want to disturb the roots to much but wanted to get a full spectrum of soil from top to bottom of pot. I brushed off the top dressing to not artificially mess up the EC results and took it from about a inch in from the edge of the pot in one location only vs multiple. #1 "Blue"........EC=0.25||PH=7.20 #2 "Red".........EC=0.32||PH=7.36 #3 "Yellow"....EC=0.27||PH=7.95 With this in mind I will contemplate the idea of lowering the PH levels of the water I give them to help offset this. from 6.5 down to aorund 6-6.2 Have not checked in on clone is a while, they have been outside hardening off for the most part. I only have clones of plant #2 "red" and #3 "yellow" the #1 "blue" clones died and IDK what one is what in the 2nd round of clones I just tossed a bunch of cutting from all of them into a jar. so their is some #1 blue in there maybe, I know its mostly one of the plants just can't recall what one. Applied some BTi to the soil in the last water to kill the gnats, thought I had some nematodes leftover but I did not so went out and got some BTi at the grow shop. Should do the trick.
