Marijuana cultivation, like any agricultural endeavor, involves various techniques to optimize growth, yield, and potency of the plant. This is the week to make it happen! One such advanced technique is High-Stress Training (HST). HST is employed to control the growth pattern of the marijuana plant, making it more bushy rather than tall. This is beneficial for indoor growers with limited vertical space. Moreover, HST exposes more of the plant's foliage to light, which can lead to enhanced photosynthesis. This results in a plant that can produce more buds, which are denser and more potent. Given that light is a primary energy source for plants, maximizing light exposure can drastically improve the overall quality and quantity of the harvest. Topping is a specific form of HST that involves cutting off the main stem's topmost growth. This method forces the plant to divert its energy and nutrients to the lower branches, promoting the development of multiple main colas instead of a single dominant one. By encouraging a more even canopy, topping ensures that light is distributed more uniformly across the plant. This reduces the chances of having underdeveloped buds at the lower sections of the plant due to light deprivation. Topping also curtails the plant's height, making it more manageable, especially for indoor growers with limited space. These techniques address the spatial constraints faced by many growers and ensure that the marijuana plant receives optimal light exposure. 1st week has been OK. Not really much to report on. This plant is where I would expect it to be at this stage. Fan controller set so max temp should be 26deg and max humidity 80% Day 1 did nothing Day 2 did nothing Day 3 did nothing Day 4 rigged up autofeed system and watered this weeks nutes. Day 5 autofeed this weeks nutes. Day 6 did nothing, 109ppfd 7.1 dli Day 7 increased mars ts1000 power. 170ppfd 11 dli. Back in a week. Take it easy.

Have needed apply some LST under SCrog for Runtz strain 👌 Update: some trouble on just One. And just top. Lights turned on, after 3hours this surprise :s

I forgot the seed in the cup of water for 2 days... but oh wow she was perfect to go impressive. Stayed in her first pot for like only 3 days. Something bite a chunk of the cotyledon, and she took it like a champ

So one thing about this strain that was kind of a bummer was the smells were literally all over the place in a great way. Sour gummies worms from the keef, diesle/gas from the leaves, and lemon hard candy/carrots/dab carts from the buds but when smoked it, the floral taste was so rounded that the other smells never came thru except the purple one that had tight smaller buds, had a lemony taste still. (Remember had to cut early from braking). On the other hand, the way this plant grew had me in a state of personal amazement. I was actully super excited telling my friends that it got TOO BIG for the branches. Buds stacked perfectly on every plant. The topping and recover time went smooth. She shaped nicely right before flower. And back to my negative statement that I had..... the smells were INCREDIBLE!!! I recommend it to everyone soly for the smells.

So at this time i will be running 2 tents. Ohh, this week and the end of week 3 was rought... I ran into a gnats problem in week 3, read more there. The way I "solved" my problem was a huge mistake, creating bigger problems. Gravel I put on top of soil kept moisture inside the pots, so I manage to over water my plants. NEVER PUT GRAVEL ON TOP OF YOUR SOIL! 🤦‍♂️ NEVER 😂 Big shoutout to guys who answered my question in week 3! Thanks for your help and support! So I remove all gravel and let all pots to dry completly before next watering. They bounced back very fast. Also I did LST training on them and manage to break up that one girl which had biggest over watering issues. Shit happens I guess... Btw its one of Amnesia strains. Sorry I haven’t been posting to much been crazy busy but here’s an update of my grow using the sp 150 by @marshydro_official2 , ladies are loving it and are very happy besides the obvious heat problem I have going on in my tent. I have slowly been getting the temps of the tent down and hopefully the ladies bounce back up , they have all entered flower and I’m pumped to watch them bulk up 🙏🏽😁 I have purple punch , stardawg , strawberry cheese cake, and a pink kush Cbd . I have also just started a couple GSC and one is showing some crazy mutations as a seedling already 🤯

You don't become confident by shouting affirmations in the mirror, but by having a stack of undeniable proof that you are who you say you are, outwork your self-doubt. Nitrogen fixation is a chemical process by which molecular nitrogen (N2), which has a strong triple covalent bond, is converted into ammonia (NH3) or related nitrogenous compounds, typically in soil or aquatic systems but also in industry. The nitrogen in air is molecular dinitrogen, a relatively nonreactive molecule that is metabolically useless to all but a few microorganisms. Biological nitrogen fixation or diazotrophy is an important microbe-mediated process that converts dinitrogen (N2) gas to ammonia (NH3) using the nitrogenase protein complex (Nif).[2][3] Nitrogen fixation is essential to life because fixed inorganic nitrogen compounds are required for the biosynthesis of all nitrogen-containing organic compounds, such as amino acids and proteins, nucleoside triphosphates and nucleic acids. As part of the nitrogen cycle, it is essential for agriculture and the manufacture of fertilizer. Various mycorrhizal products are available in diverse formulations (powder, granular, and liquid), concentrations, and qualities. Ongoing advancements in products, technologies, and research are reshaping our understanding of mycorrhizae. Despite these positive developments, certain misconceptions persist. In the following discussion, we aim to clarify the truths and dispel the myths surrounding mycorrhizae products. MYTH #1 A HIGHER NUMBER OF MYCORRHIZAE SPECIES MEANS BETTER RESULTS. Contrary to common belief, having a higher number of mycorrhizae species in a product does not translate to better results; in fact, it often yields the opposite outcome. A plant can sustain only one association with a particular mycorrhizal fungi species. Introducing multiple species creates competition among them, which is not advantageous for the plant. The initial colonizer does not ensure the highest success; instead, it gains precedence. It is recommended to select a product with a concentrated presence of a single mycorrhizae species known for its effective performance, rather than opting for a product with multiple species at lower concentrations. MYTH #2 ECTOMYCORRHIZAE ARE EFFECTIVE FOR CANNABIS PLANTS. Although ectomycorrhizae can colonize five to ten percent of plant species, cannabis is not among them. Ectomycorrhizae do not penetrate the root cells; instead, they develop around the roots and on the exterior. For cannabis plants, it is essential to seek out endomycorrhizae. Endomycorrhizae are capable of colonizing 70% to 90% of plant species, including cannabis. Unlike ectomycorrhizae, endomycorrhizae penetrate the root cells, forming structures like arbuscules for the exchange of nutrients and water with the plant. MYTH #3 WHOLE INOCULANT (PROPAGULES) PERFORM BETTER THAN ONLY VIABLE SPORES. The propagule count specified on most mycorrhizae products indicates the presence of spores (viable and unviable), hyphae, and root fragments. However, it is crucial to note that only viable spores, those with the capacity to germinate, can successfully colonize a plant’s root system. Spores are to mycorrhizal fungi what seeds are to cannabis plants—a fundamental component enabling fungi reproduction. Consequently, even if a mycorrhizal product boasts millions of propagules, its effectiveness hinges on the presence of viable spores. Without viable spores, the product will not contribute to plant development. Therefore, the genuine value of a mycorrhizal inoculant lies in the quantity of viable spores it contains, as only viable spores can efficiently initiate symbiosis. MYTH #4 ALL METHODS OF APPLICATION YIELD IDENTICAL RESULTS. To establish the symbiosis, mycorrhizal fungi spores must be close to the plant roots. The optimal recommendation is to directly apply mycorrhizal inoculant to the roots, either in powder, granular or slurry form. This method ensures maximum proximity between the spores and the roots, facilitating a rapid establishment of symbiosis. Particularly with crops like cannabis, which have a short growing cycle, employing this technique is the most effective way to obtain optimal benefits. Alternatively, techniques such as blending the inoculant with the soil are effective, but there may be a delay in the establishment of symbiosis. This is because the roots need to grow and come into contact with the dispersed spores throughout the growing media. MYTH #5 MYCORRHIZAE CAN ONLY BE GROWN ON LIVING PLANTS. While the predominant method for commercially producing mycorrhizae involves growing them on the root systems of living plants (in vivo production), it is not the exclusive nor the optimal technique. In fact, this production approach has notable drawbacks that the “root organ culture” method just does not have (in vitro production). In vitro production occurs in meticulously controlled, aseptic laboratory conditions, allowing for the consistent generation of products that are viable, highly concentrated, species-specific, and free from pathogens. Achieving such precision and quality is impossible when relying on the cultivation of mycorrhizal fungi on plants exposed to external conditions. In conclusion, it is crucial to take all these factors into consideration when choosing the appropriate product for your crop to fully harness the wide array of benefits provided by a high-quality mycorrhizal product. STRONGER PLANT – Stress resistance. FASTER GROWTH – Improve plant structure and shorter veg time. INCREASE YIELD – Overall more biomass. IMPROVED QUALITY – Increase cannabinoids and terpenes content.

They looking good, but temp is a little too high. It is what it is One of the plants (In front to the left) is more frosty, with less amber pistils. But overall the trichomes are starting to go from crystal to cloudy. Esa familia, buenas noches , pues vuelvo de nuevo a actualizaros la semana, traigo novedades, primera semana en floración, todo va de vicio, ya han marcado su sexo, y no veáis que color y vigor. Ph en 6,2 temperatura y humedad están dentro de los parámetros correctos. Menos de 50% y temperatura inferior a 27 grados. Solo tenéis que ver las fotos y los vídeos y apreciar su salud. Agradecer a marshydro la confianza puesta para poder ofrecer estos proyectos, y a agrobeta por su gama de nutrientes que probaremos en futuros proyectos. Had some very good growth this week. Days 14-21. The girls have been dialed in at about 63-65% RH and 76-79 degrees F. On day 18 I dialed up my BP2500 to about 165 watts at the wall, and kept my small tent heater in place for the time being, nights have gotten cooler. The girls seem to be ❤️ the extra light, without causing any harm. Switched from distilled water to tap water that has been dechlorinated for 24 hours mid way through the week, no issues shown. Added 1 ml of Micro, and 1 ml of Cal/Mag to 1/2 gallon of water, PH’d to 6.2 and watered approx. 1/2cup of water per x2 throughout the week, and about 1 cup once transplanted. On day 21 they were all looking so healthy, with some roots coming from the bottom of my starter pots, I decided to transplant into 2 gallon nursery pots. My final pot will be a mix of 5 and 7 gallon fabric pots, try and see if any differences can be had.
