Defoliated heavily, and I'm giving only water for the last weeks

Alright grow cycle, mistakes, improvements, etc... She did stay in veg for too long, her growth was slow and not the best and so she took quite long, next time i'll be there from the beginning so I can take care of her throughout. But her growth is really fun. It is a tall growing sativa with fairly tight noding when trained accordingly, producing long filled colas. The buds grow fairly dense and fluffly but do air out a little when dried. Trichome production was pretty impressive as well as terpene production. She had thrips since her early days but did not seem to mind them at all. I did spray them initially but once flower started I stopped. I believe predatory mites might have been feeding on the pupae in the soil, if that is what this specific species of thrips did, the reason I say that is I could never see adults only larvae. Whatever the case maybe they were there but the population never really increased. Something I did not mention during the grow is that those plants were played music during the days, music that is apparently developed for plants. The 10L pot was WAY too small for a true sustainable living organic and to provide enough space for the plant, that was a mistake, I'd say a 20L would be the bare minimum and still. The bigger the better. The hempy transfer did not hurt the plant and I believe even helped to some extent, BUT, I am still running test on the subject and so can't confirm anything, here are my observations Roots did not colonize the perlite, a little on top and the sides but that was it, I was expecting to see a big root mass in there. I believe hempy are great for salt fert as it hold a soup of nutes where the plant can feed from since the coco only holds very little Whereas in nature most nutrient are in the top soil where the highest amount of decomposition happens, this is where the highest microbial activity happens and so where the plant will find food. Living organic is trying to reproduce nature and so there is no need for the plant's roots to gather at the bottom of the pot. Although it could have potentially provided the plant access to a larger amount of water and possibly more oxygenation of the pot. Those are all theories, please speak up if you have other proofs. In conclusion , unless i get proven otherwise by someone or my latest running experiment , I will not be using hempies again as I believe it brings more complication and issues than a simple fabric pot. The lights, The 600w at the start was good, then I decided to add a 400w...😂 That was completely overkill and not necessary. Waste of electricity. And they started suffering from too much light it seems at some point, I raised the light by a good 30 cm and they were fine. 600 is more than enough. I am happy about how the soil performed but it has room for improvements. As for the watering technique I have been watering large ammount every few days, next time I will be giving constant small amount of water each day and a soak every week or so, I believe the soil might perform better under those conditions. She was also an easy plant to harvest whit her long colas which had very little foliage, I do trim in excess as I like my buds extra clean but the buds are not excessively bushy. The trims were use to make some bubble hash, around 100g of wet trims yielded around 1.5-2g of bubble hash. I did add a negative effect but only because it wouldn't give me a smile otherwise, but to be honnest it barely dries your mouth. The soil is going to be recycled and reused in a next grow. I can't think of anything else at the moment but if you have any question don't hesitate.

Still pluckin leaves here and there but overall we’re just watering every other day rotating molasses with recharge. Light smell starting to come through. Waiting for these pbb’s to start to frost up a little more. But the Candy Candy is showing really good potential. Looking better than last run for sure at this point.

This is the last week, I've given them another tank filling, but the Chem Beyond Diesel CBD was chopped on day 69F, which was the second day of the week, SAD CBD, and NYC Diesel CBD followed on day 73F. I left the for a couple more days, but also chopped it on day 76F, which is already the next week, but I won't be creating another diary entry for that one as it was 3 days long and nothing happened. The foxtailing makes it look like there are still a lot of white pistils, but most of the inner/lower ones are finished, the trichomes look ok, and I am growing impatient again.

We arrived in the third week the plants show good vigor and growth. Some cold days 17 Cº may have prevented further growth but we do not have to complain the plants demonstrate to be enjoying food and light. On the 15th the plants presented slightly wilted leaves as day 16 was the day of watering I imagined it was thirsty. But day 16 a few hours after watering the plant still had the same symptoms so I realized that the LED screen was 53 cm from the plant. I increased the distance to 65cm and the plant returned to normal both in force and I managed to correct the diagnosis. I am managing to apprehend some things finally putting into practice.

Rough week, seeing the full effects of nute burn and at the same time cal mag deficiency. Making some newbie mistakes here, didn’t realize how often I needed to give them cal mag so fan leaves started to yellow. Also didn’t realize the importance of watering until runoff with the medium I’m using so there was some build up causing the nute burn. PPM was 4000 when I flushed. I finally think I’ve got it all figured out thanks to friends with much more experience whom I should have reached out to sooner. Oh well, expected to make some mistakes and learn from them my first time around. Still have some big fat frosty colas! Can’t wait to take what I’ve learned into the next grow!

Ended up giving 3 more feeds but have run out of time again. Still not really seeing any amber trichomes but starting flush and hope for the best. Pretty sure I am going to end up with about 3 ounces less then first run but the buds look heaps better.

Flipping now, light training trying to maximize horizontal space

I’ll start by saying I’m NOT using both bud blood and bud ignitor in one solution, I am using bud blood on the rear tropicanna poison plant and bud ignitor on the front one to test the outcome of them individually to see the best results! I tied down and defoliated twice in the week and have switched to 12-12 yesterday so they’re transitioning now and should be in bloom by week 7! I made some extract them made some gummies successfully I might add and added the photos in the diary!

Well, it's finally time for an update, right? And for a newbie like me this week has been quite eventful! 😲 After last week's "Helmet Head" (which I suppose was my fault for not burying the seed deep enough 😱) her leaves started to look twisty, Honestly don't know why that happened but my three hypothesis are: because that's just the way she is, because I didn't properly bury the seed or I made a mistake somewhere else. However I also think she looks pretty and this makes her look quite "special" 👍. In her 6-7th day after sprouting I noticed her leaves started to look even more twisty and she was about to outgrow her cup. I worried and decided that it was the right moment to transplant her. At first I didn't know "how" to do it and all I knew is that I could shock her if I did it wrong (which worried me haha 😨). None of the sites I checked really specified any kind of information regarding how I should prepare the medium for the new plant (just some vague information here and there) so I came with the idea to just water it bit and then "massage" the soil to avoid making it "lumpy" and I feel it did work out well in the end! I feel I didn't shock her much and in her second day she was growing even more as well! Nice! 😍 Next week I'll start feeding Puff with some nutrients but the PPM of the tap water where I live is somewhat high (around 600) and it's electroconductivity is around 1200 us/cm but a lot of growers in here still use it (they just wait for chlorine to evaporate) so I'll try doing the same. I'll use half dose of Biobizz Bio Grow and half dose of another product called Gold Sunshine from Quemanta (which is Cal-Mag with some amino acids) and see how things develop! 😃 I'll try to see if I can make my DSLR take the photos for future timelapses, because my webcam sucks for that job! A couple of ladies died through the bad weather conditions in the Netherland in May. (candy Kush, Fat Banana, Green gelato). I learned a wise lesson. Be more patient. Once the seedlings started to sprout I already put them outside. If I just took some more time to let them grow a bit. before I put them in the final destination. This would have saved me a lot of headache.

Estuvieron muy hermoss y crecieron una banda en un momento, espere tanto para transplantarlas y hacer esquejes q quedaron palidas pero bueno recuperaron al transplantar, salieron tremendos los esquejes a pesar de lo mal q estaban pasando. Planté dos mango y una la tuve que sacar a exterior para poder florar bien, sino era un monton inmecesario. Ahora quedaron 3 definitivamente, la mango f1 es la de la esquina izquierda superior , la f2 salio a exterior
