Tag 25: Ordentlich gewachsen die Pflanze.

Hello and welcome to my newest grow! Going to be doing a small pheno hunt for a keeper cut of purple marmalade by Solfire. Speaking of Solfire, want to shout these guys out. Just purchased from these guys the first time and the seeds I received look perfect. They also sent me 3 free seeds which I’m looking forward to growing next. Purple Marmalade is something special too me as I actually smoked this strain in Rochester New York around 2021, I would always pick up 3 new strains a week when I stayed here. For me and my girlfriend at the time it was one of our favorites we have ever had. Super spacey and melted away all stress. Going to be doing a proper hunt where I will keep the rooted seeds as parents and will be taking clones of these for the actual hunt. The clones will be planted in my newest 30 gallon no till bed where they will be flipped semi early to allow all 3 plants to fill the 2x3. The 30 gallon pot is the same soil I have been no tilling in a 15 gallon for the last year and a half. It had gotten compacted in the 15 so I dumped it out, reammended with 3.0, craft blend, and gnarly barley. Also added a gallon of perlite to help prevent compaction again. Poured it into the 30 and topped it off with about 8 gallons of fresh Elite Soil. My thought process is the plants will start off in the new top soil as the bottom cooks, so by the time the roots hit the older soil it is ready to go. I also took a soil sample of the old soil and sent it to my local university to see if the amendments I added will be enough or if I should top dress more early on. Today August 23rd I sprinkle a ton of white clover seeds on top of this pot so by the time I transplant the clones in two weeks I will have a cover crop I also planted the seeds today on August 23rd. I filled my small nursery pots with some new Elite Living soil. I soaked the soil heavily to ensure it was wet and tamped. Poked a small one inch hole into each pot. Sprinkled recharge into each hole, dropped the seeds in and covered lightly. I then transferred these to my small parent tent where they will hopefully pop and veg until I am able to take my clones for the main tent. Germination success is set to 0/3 until they start too pop. Really looking forward to this grow with you guys! God bless! Update Day 4, August 28th: Cover crop growing in well and first seed popped. Good looks for solfire, first time using them. My seeds planted directly in soil almost always consistently pop on day 5. Day early and healthy looking, no helmet head, and can already see true leaves coming in. Update Day 5, August 30th Number 2 sprouted Update Day 6, August 31st Transplanted both sprouted clones to large container

12/11/2021 - held in a glass of filtered water for 24 hours and then used the paper towel method for 48 hours. Seeds planted today in 6 litre pots to germinate before being moved to 15 litre pots on week 3 of veg. high humidity this week - 70% - and 100ml of filtered water every other day. 16/11/21 - all 9 have broken the soil and are stretching slightly to the light 20/11/21 root juice

After checking the grow yesterday (2021-01-01), I noticed some of the yellowing I've seen in previous grows that served as early warning signs for an impending grow failure. I checked my reservoir and found it was down to about two gallons left and the pH had shot up to 7.1. I then checked my AutoPot runoff in the tray and found it was at 7.2. I then took my Remedy CBD out and flushed it with 10 gallons of pH 5.8 tap water until the runoff measured about pH 5.8. The plant has been returned to the tray and the pictures you see this week are the following day and I'm continuing to measure at the tray more closely now as well. I've continued to pull off some of the larger yellowing fan leaves but, other than that, I've kept this grow as simple as possible. The flowering stage is continuing as expected and the pictures show about how far along we've come.

First week of flower has been great! They’re stretching very nicely, I backed the nutrients down a little bit this week because I saw some leafs curling in when adding some bloom nutrients. But all is well. My critical +2.0 in soil is growing very well and keeping up with the canopy, the Alaskan Purple isn’t quite stretching as much.

The seeds are really starting to swell up nice. These ladies are bearing alot of seed from the natural style of pollination i used. Decided to use a small paint brush and some of my collected pollen. Dusted the un seeded flowers and got these ladies seeded to the max. In a couple days I will give them a good water shower to wash away some of the excess pollen spillage. I'm going to let these beans get nice and mature. Viability won't be a question lol. After I collect/harvest my seeds I'm pondering what to do with the plant material. They are throwing off a solid amount of resin to protect their offspring. There will be plenty of it to work with. Decisions ...Decisions . Until next update. Happy growing and stay lit fam.

June 13th - Day 115 : Hey guys! So today is the final big day! Harvested the second plant for the tent : The sour Strawberry. Baby looks fucking beautiful but think I could've let it run for another week or two. It gave me aproximately 120grams of dried buds. I like it less than the 420fast buds Banana Purple. Less flavor and the high is kind of mellow. I believe it’s because I didn’t flush it at all before harvesting as I needed the tent for the second batch of babies. Also maybe because I tested the greens 3-4 days before the end of dry. Zamnesia was a first but definitely the last time I'm ordering seed through them

I mean, overall this was an extremely painless grow. The test of whether we should or shouldn't top autos is still TBD imo. Our topped candidate produced denser, frostier buds, but weighed slightly less, at 14 grams of bud total. And our lst plant produced 18 grams of bud, not as frosty, and almost as dense as our topped girl. I'll be topping autoflowers from here on out only under the circumstance I have 4+ to grow at the same time. Seems like it could be used to speed up the autoflower grow cycle if done properly, like with right. Since I'm doing a perpetual cycle, it's still a viable option for me in the long run. A few tips I have for anyone growing this strain in organics: Start feeding bloom nutes a little bit prior to flower transition - this makes the transition more seemless. From weeks 1-3 flower, I slowly dropped the grow dosage until I cut off grow nutes week 3 flower. Starting the flush around week 6 flower seemed to really bring out this plant's potential. But I think you could get away with starting the flush around week 5. I hope this helps anyone trying this strain out. It's a good one, I hope to see more journals of it, eventually. Cheers everyone! The inflorescences have stopped growing and are now starting to swell properly :-). The next 8-12 days will be harvested :-). Until then, she will only get the appropriate water and about 3-4 days before the harvest she will be poured a little more for the last flush. The week was poured three times with 1.2 l each. I did some heavy Super-Cropping on one of the gals this week to ensure a good even canopy, allowing all parts of the plant to receive an equal amount of light , it also maximizes my grow space, and allows for better efficiency as well. I only super-cropped 1 of them. The other girl I just done a lil LST and Defoliation on. We'll see how it goes. If all goes well I plan on flipping to a 12/12 light cycle to initiate flowering on the final day of week 4. Leaf Transpiration has increased, which also means higher water uptake. Gave a Full dose nutrient solution this feeding and it seemed to take well to it and has proven beneficial to the plants. Vpd remains between .9 - 1.1. PPFD still slightly above 600 across the entire canopy. 660 closer to center under the light. Overall even light distribution.

Day 64. Girls took defoliation like champs and they are overstretched Champs !!! Girls slow down with drinking, thinking today will be first watering after training session, but its normal, i have full shoping bag of leaves ... This week Feed, water and hopefully one more water. Let's see flowers forming everywhere !! Day 67. Girls got Great White and its Jungles, think I will be doing at least second wave of defoliation. Girls are stretched with tops, highest 3-4 nods covering loads of flowers under secondary crown, need to get light there !!! 3 huge plants at the back - Blue Dreams, they are MONSTERS !! 3 lowest in the middle - Runtz, super compact and super stacked ! 4 infront - Kalini Asias, still no pink colours yet ... Day 69. Got some funky box from a friend. He grew Barneys Farm - Jack Ripper and its lovely weed, some lemony aftertaste, really strong i would say ! But !!! Zamnesia will be better ;))))) They are pure JOY !!! Happy Growing !

Hi Growmies, I continuously scrog and defoliate her until the screen is filled (what shouldn’t take too long anymore). She is taking very well too the scrogging not getting stunned from all the bending and massaging. I think that’ll be her last week of veg. So as of next week I will flip her and initiate the preflower nutes, including Rezin and the boost accelerator from canna. Hi growers 👌🏻🍁 This week I’ve had a few slight more issues this run hasn’t been the best so far. But I’m hoping if I can just up my feed as each watering I’m feeding the ppm are only at 450ppm 1ml grow 3ml bloom 2ml top max 4ml heaven 4ml actavira In a 5litre bottle - every 3 days I’ve had a few herm on me - which has been a bit of a disappointing, it just tells me my rooms not dialled in at all. Few more issues to fix next run. All the pink runts autos that finished flowering dried for 1 half weeks then went into canna butter. If anyone can give me a message or comment of anything I can do to try fix these girls I would appreciate it ✌️🏻🍁

Well another week gone and looking good ✌️🏻

She has been having some leaf discoloration ss I tested her pH. It was a little high Soni gave her some pH Down. Went from 7.3 to 5.8. Hopefully that fixed the problem. Gave her a good dose of nutes hoping to get her back on track. Tune in next week to find out how it goes. Lol

omg, another week has passed...... :) Day 100 - and then there was 11 Buds ....... lol Switched over to normal water on both ... smaller has been on water 1+ weeks ..... Endoscope arrives this week i hope..... harvested afew buds to fit it all in the tent and setup lights properly... trimmed em, wired em abit to support the weight of the buds.... I'll see how the endoscope results show, as to harvest...... i think growth slowed abit over last week or 2, because of poor light setup, not enough room in tent, and other grow 6400k led.... got a new tent on the way... 😎 Day 101 - Pics - edoscope, usb arrived... it's very good, but hard to stabalize / focus, i'll have to work out how to use it better...... the pics i posted were of a younger bud from the bottom..... i'm happy with the cloudy with amber, and harvesting.... 😎 Day 103 - vid of all trimmed and drying out upside down in tent. Day 105 - pics vids of drying and into curing.... i'll list all the test buds and buds i trimmed in the final harvest report.....😎

Week 5 flower going well. Nothing much to report. Increased the drip as she is taking in more water. Turned up the fans to 100% for maximum flow, and due to that, the tent got a bit warmer and a bit dryer, so the exhaust fan and humidifier are working a bit harder. 75-77 deg F, 50-60% RH. Not sure if the lights are to intense or if it’s purple coming through, but at the highest tops there seems to be a bit of discolouration on the newest growth, just at the tips of the new buds. But I’m looking really close and it may be purple, not brown. I’ll keep an eye on it and turn the lights down if symptoms worsen. This plant is growing strong and uniform. Average frost so far. Hopefully she keeps growing well until the end. Thanks for the views…keep calm and grow on!
