Plants looking great. Final week, flushing with filtered water for 7- 10 days. Plants ripening nicely, very dense colas. I noticed a spider mite outbreak last week, it has spread from one plant to the a few others, not a bad infestation, today predator mites will be released onto every plant throughout flush. Predator mites have worked great in the past. **predator mites phytoselius have been applied, hopefully they can clear up the infestation before harvest. When the plants are cut down and hung to drt any remaining mites will crawl up the stem as the plant dries. I will wrap the stem in double sided sticky tape.

The pistils on all plants are getting more and more brown, its time to check the trichomes now. I check with a handheld microscope and they are getting milky, but not yet amber, which means they are ALMOST READY TO HARVEST, but not yet. The amount of crystals produced under the Q6W-Gen.2 LED-lamps from SANlight is astounding, the plants are coated in trichomes! This week I stopped giving any nutrients in order to FLUSH the plants, this is VERY IMPORTANT in order to get a smooth smoke of the dried end-product. The aroma of the plants is VERY STRONG NOW, they smell mouth-watering. The Shiva Skunk has a sweet, musky smell with a fresh citrus note to it, its a delight to smell those plants. The Serious Kush smells EXTREMELY fuely and gassy, like the OG-Kush, but with an amount of buds like the White Russian, its FLABBERGASTING. I cant wait to try those two strains...😎

Week 23 for Peyote Zkittlez by seedsman, Not too much to report shes drinking a hell of a lot of water.. I do think she would have been in a bigger pot at this point you aren't even able to scratch the soil surface because its just roots.. 😂 So im hoping that doesn't effect her too badly can already tell that shes a little light on the nitrogen... May feed some FPJ to boost that up a little otherwise she may fade too early.

Week 7 of flower. Getting sticky, frosty, and smelly! Nugs are fattening up. Did some super cropping to help with all nugs developing well. Starting to see some purple hues showing up and the trichomes are beginning to get cloudy. Have had a nice temperature delta of 10+ Degrees to hopefully boost the trichomes and colors.

Day 99 - Finally got to chop a plant! Chopped the cheese, did a rough wet trim and hung it all in my diy drying chamber (see video above). I knew I was going to be chopping one before the other, so I threw together a cheap unit out of a garment box I bought from a moving company. -It came with a cross bar, so I cut the box and re-taped it the way I wanted it, to conceal everything proper. -Then, I drilled some holes in the sides for ventilation and taped some carbon filter from my air purifier overtop to keep pests and dust out. -Outside of the box, I've got a Coway air purifier pulling out the smell and adding a bit of air circulation (pulls air passively through the vents in the sides) . -For added flair 😉, I threw some velcro on the flaps and built a thermometer/hygrometer into the front to keep an easy watch. They will hang from some clip hangers I grabbed, for a week or so, or until they're ready. Then I'll do a dry trim and time to cure! Super Lemon Haze is still plugging along and getting dense. Smells great, and although the leaves show a past of issues, the buds are looking amazing. Can't wait 'till she's done! It's really nice to have the extra space in the tent now too. It was getting a little cramped. Day 105 - Cheese is doing well in the drying tent. Stems aren't snapping quite yet, so will need a day or two more. Drying chamber is working great. No smell whatsoever. Super Lemon Haze is STILL GOING and looking good. Done with nutes now and watching trichs everyday. Buds are beefing up. The leaves are starting to fade, but the look and colour of the flowers is wild. Can't wait for it to finish up. Should be sometime in the next week or so. Things are getting frosty around here! Critical Cures are at the top of the class. Critical Mass is in second. Charlotte's Angels are in third. Durga Mata is in fourth, with Blue Shark rounding out the pack as far as blooms are concerned, and how far along they are. This week I used the last of my "Tiger Bloom" and "Big Bloom" and I didn't feel like buying more, so I started making compost tea! It comes from my pile that consists of kitchen scraps, horse, chicken and sheep manure. They seem to be liking it. I also gave them a little nitrogen foliar spray this morning. I've had to spray insecticidal soap twice this week. Smells so fragrant out there, it's attracting a lot of bugs. I sent a pic of one of the Critical Cure's to a friend of mine saying "Not long now!" (As in like 3-4 weeks on this particular plant) to which he replied: "You've still got 6-7 weeks!" No, just no. Same guy also told me my plants would be 8 ft high. Ha! Silly boys.

Starting this week I will also add Oxygen granulate (KMPS, CAS-70693-62-8, 2KHSO₅ * KHSO₄ * K₂SO₄) I use this once a day to reach ~250 mV on my ORP meter, it is not calibrated so it more of a good guess, adding this helps to keep the reservoir stable even with higher nutrient temperatures in summer and it also adds a little Kalium/Potassium for the plants. The ORP probe is not calibrated and values are to be taken with a grain of salt. Values are average of the day. Vamos familia ya traigo la octava semana de floración de estas Lava Cake de Zamnesia. Vaya color, están bastante sanas , van produciendo tricomas y van formándose las flores correctamente. Ya empezamos también la recta final . Temperaturas máximas en 28.5 y mínimas en 26 y una humedad estable en torno al 40%. The week starts Monday, Jan-13 in flowering stage. The plant is growing fast, stretching long and I'm constantly tying down branches to maintain an even canopy. There's also a stronger scent of lemon already in the tent. Carried out substantial defoliation of almost all the big fan leaves and a few little stems that were not likely to make it above the canopy. Avoided defoliating the major cola branches. This encourages the plant not to waste resources on a node which is only going to produce “popcorn” buds. The plants reacted well to the defoliation and were looking good by the end of the light cycle for the day. The net is completely full and this will be the last week of applying any LST as part of the ScrOG setup. Light is maintained at 30cm distance from canopy, with daily fertigation at lights on - watering almost 3L per day. Lowered the average RH in the space to 50%. ----prior 4 weeks updates ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The week starts Monday, Jan-06 in flowering stage. The net is filling up nicely with the ScrOG process being enjoyable - just tucking branches nicely under squares once stretched enough. Lost a branch end with 3 nodes accidentally whilst tucking away so now I'm super careful. The Sativa dominant strain is stretching nicely and bends easily. Minor defoliation of lower branches and fan leaves continues daily. Light is maintained at 30cm distance from canopy. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The week starts Monday, Dec-30 in vegetative stage - switching the light regime to flowering. Initiated flowering with an extended dark period prior to switching light regime - this practice is supposed to promote a faster initiation of flowering by the plant. Maintain lights off from Dec-31, 10:00 until Jan 1 - 18:45 allowing a 32hr darkness period prior to switching the light regime. Light regime is set for 12.5/11.5 on/off allowing me a better maintenance window for my living situation. Both plants are growing fast and strong, showing their genetic traits. Some shoots are going through the net already. Have started to tuck branches as they grow to fill up any gaps. Did minor defoliation on both plants near their stem base and centres. Some green algae on roots/coco medium on the surface of the pot. Have defoliated some more which hopefully helps with air circulation at the area. Will monitor over the week - may need to decrease watering frequency, although they seem to be keeping up drinking. Lowered the High Humidity setting of the extraction fan to 60% - which effectively keeps it running at least 75% of the time, and removed the humidifier. Will monitor and adjust as necessary lowering the setting to 50% in a few weeks whilst flowering. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The week starts Monday, Dec-23 in vegetative stage. Installed the ScrOG net - Set at 20cm from the base of the plants, being 55cm from ground. The plant is showing great growth, lots of branching and new growth sprouts. A few branches are beginning to come through the net and almost all main branches are now tied down horizontally after the two recent toppings. Applied more LST and will wait for the branches to reach the net and start tucking. The AC Infinity fan is currently only running intermittently with its current settings. This seems to impact the utilisation and effectiveness of the carbon filter in use. The desired outcome is for the fan to be running for longer periods whilst in Auto config. Lowered the High Level Humidity from 70% to 60%, and more importantly, lowered the Max Speed from 4 to 2 with the intent that a lower fan speed will result in longer periods where the extraction fan is operated to remain below threshold targets for the grow space. Plant growth continues to be strong at the end of the week. Big fan leaves near the top are beginning to look a little serrated and dark, similar to the start of this grow. This may be due to the extra CalMag being added which was the issue at the start of the grow. Will keep monitoring and half the CalMag dosage on next feed. Importantly, I have learnt nutrient mixing of the CalMag should be done prior to the Canna Coco A & B. To date I have done the opposite which may explain my earlier issues. Fertigating daily at the start of the light cycle.
