🌿 Woche 8 - Erste Erntewoche - So Jung und doch so Reif ️🌿 🌱 Wachstum Man sieht mittlerweile deutlich, dass die "kleinere" Pflanze es sehr eilig hat. 🏃‍♀️💨 Die Dominante Dame, lässt sich dagegen etwas mehr Zeit für ihre Buds. ⏳🌸 Aber für beide Damen gilt: Für ihre 8–9 Wochen ist das beachtlich. 🌟 Rückblickend hätte ich vllt etwas mehr Lollypopping machen sollen. Beim Ernten, kamen ein Paar Triebe zum vorschein, die sich nicht so gut entwicken konnten. Fastbuds typisch, sind viele Quallitativ geile Buds dabei. Ich freue mich schon aufs Naschen 😋 Aber jetzt wo ich die Erste Lady geerntet hab, hab ich gemerkt das 100g vllt etwas hochgestapelt war. 😬 Ich hoffe das ich wenigstens noch die 80g irgendwie knacke. 😹 🌱 Living Soil Was man auch sieht, sind Mängel. 😰 Es könnte an den 2 Pflanzen im selben Topf liegen. Grade bei so schnell wachsenden Auto´s könnte die Nährstoff Verteilung gestört gewesen sein. 😵 Es könnte aber auch sein, dass die Erde wegen der Doppelbepflanzen schon sehr ausgelaugt war. The cannabis strain Grape Guava can be a purple strain, depending on its specific phenotype and genetic makeup. The increased CO2 allows plants to thrive at higher temperatures, which in turn necessitates higher humidity to maintain the ideal VPD for healthy growth and transpiration. 80F -5F = 75F LST with 70% RH = 0.72 kPa. Higher temperatures and humidity promote rapid growth, nutrient uptake, and photosynthesis while maintaining a lower stress level. Temperature influences the rate of enzymatic reactions involved in aerobic respiration. Enzymes, such as those involved in glycolysis, the Krebs cycle, and the electron transport chain, work most efficiently at an optimal temperature range. In low temperatures, enzymatic activity will slow down, thus reducing the rate of aerobic respiration. In high temperatures, enzymes can become denatured, thus impairing their function and stopping the process of aerobic respiration. Glucose is the primary fuel for aerobic respiration. The rate of aerobic respiration increases with the availability of glucose, as it is the starting point for glycolysis. If glucose levels are low, cells may rely on alternative energy sources such as fatty acids or amino acids , but these processes may yield less ATP or be less efficient. To determine this effect, carbon dioxide volume was measured (as carbon dioxide is an output of aerobic respiration) A seed germinated via skotomorphogenesis (in the dark) will generally develop faster in its initial stages to reach light, though it will be etiolated (elongated and weak) and will switch to slower, more robust photomorphogenesis (light development) once it emerges into light. While skotomorphogenesis is a rapid, growth-oriented process for soil escape, it's a temporary phase; photomorphogenesis is a more sustainable development program that prepares the seedling for photosynthesis. 18/6 with the 6 being IR instead of darkness, keeping temps overnight a neat 77F-80F. PPFD overnight 1.8. Think of my tent as a lung. What goes in must come out. When the rate of air going out exceeds the amount of air coming in, it creates a negative pressure. Tent concaves (bends in). If set up correctly, your RH will begin to drop slowly to the desired level you set, and the extraction turns off when it reaches 50% RH. The plant, as it performs cellular respiration, will always be releasing more water into the air, so the RH% of the tent overnight will always increase, so long as oxidative phosphorylation is occurring. As soon as the RH% creeps back up to 55%, the extraction turns back on, over and over, this creates a strong pressure differential which will work wonders on your grow. replicating high and low pressure fronts in nature, critical for oxygen diffusion, but more importantly, full control of your RH%. Moisture will not transfer from a saturated atmosphere to another if that air is already at or above its saturation point, meaning the air can't hold any more water vapor. Once I understood that water is produced as a by product during cellular respiration, specifically at the very end of the electron transport chain (ETC) where electrons are finally transferred to molecular oxygen, the higher the RH of the air, the more resistance there is for more moisture to be added to that environment, and effects the ease with which it does so. But none of that water comes from the pot; it's pulled from the air. If you run high daytime RH, your medium/pot is 100% reliant on transpirational root pull to move water. ZERO evaporation happens across the atmosphere if the tent air has high RH%, the medium cannot release its water through evaporation. Once a canopy develops, light no longer slowly wicks and evaporates from the topsoil. The Soil-Plant-Atmosphere Continuum (SPAC) describes the continuous pathway and process of water movement, driven by a gradient in water potential, from the soil, through the plant's roots, stem, and leaves, and finally evaporating into the atmosphere through transpiration. There is evaporation, there is transpiration, then there is evapotranspiration; Evapotranspiration (ET) is the combined total of two processes: evaporation (water lost directly from soil and surface water into the atmosphere) and transpiration (water released from plants to the atmosphere through their leaves). Evapotranspiration represents the total amount of water that moves from the medium into the air. There is no such thing as a medium with too much water, only a medium that retains too much for too long. The water must always flow efficiently from one atmosphere(Medium) to another(Air) in a timely manner. Moisture is a critical factor for bacterial growth and decay. Dictating how long it's allowed to sit in any one location for any given period is a key preferred control. To ensure a net reduction in a bacterial population, the rate of removal (ET) must exceed the rate of bacterial growth (decay rate), which is often modeled as a growth rate for the specific bacterium under the given conditions. By optimizing daytime VPD, we also optimize conditions for bacterial growth to explode exponentially above 77°F.. If water is allowed to sit in a medium without an escape within a timeframe, nothing good will happen. IF High RH is maintained overnight as well as during the day, placing 100% of water movement at the behest of daytime transpiration, roots can only pull where they can reach, and if soil is compressed above a certain point, moisture will become trapped in a medium with no way of moving day or night. This will begin the countdown for decay to take hold. When water stagnates in a medium, it loses oxygen, creating anaerobic conditions that foster the growth of harmful microorganisms like bacteria and fungi, which can produce toxins and disease vectors. Thigmomorphogenesis, the process by which plants respond to mechanical stimuli like touch by altering their growth and development, resulting in significant morphological changes to improve survival against mechanical perturbations. This complex response involves sensing touch and initiating physiological and genetic responses, leading to changes in form and structure over days or weeks. The process is triggered by physical forces such as wind, rain, or touch. Plants adapt to these stimuli by changing their shape and structure, which may include slower growth, thickened stems, or altered leaf development. Plants possess sophisticated mechanisms to detect even subtle mechanical stimuli and initiate responses. A variety of molecules, including calcium ions, jasmonates, ethylene, and nitric oxide, are involved in signaling these mechanical inputs. Touch can induce the expression of genes that encode proteins for calcium sensing, cell wall modification, and defense mechanisms. A plant exposed to constant wind may become shorter and sturdier. A plant that is touched frequently might grow slower to conserve energy and develop thicker cell walls. These changes increase a plant's resilience and ability to survive in harsh environments. Well the flower week is finally upon us they are getting a huge block opening up the canopy exposing Bud sites letting the wind blow through those beautiful structures. I will have more updates as the week goes on stay tuned. I took ALOT off , I know , I know , lots of people will say , what the heck is this grower doing ?!? Well all I can say is .......... WAIT . This ain't my first rodeo. Pictures will follow , Why did I get rid of all the leaves ? 1) increase airflow 2) increase light to bud sites 3) to prevent mold . So many times I have done this and everytime, I ask myself , was it too much ??? A week later the plant will have pretty much , somehow, grown all the leaves back !!! You will have to wait and see just like me !!!

Day 26: the girls are starting to smeeeelllll aloooot! They haven’t popped the hairs yet but almost there! I just want them to start stretching soon so I can use my net! They are to small for that right now but in a week maybe 😃😍 Day 28: hey last day of this week. I can’t wait to see these girls flower. I won’t train them so much more because I need a faster harvest this time. My last grow I trained them like this until week 5/6. So I will let them stretch and start using the net. I connected my autopots yesterday and everything seems to be just fine. Mars hydro SP3000 High PPFD at 2.8 umol/j, average yield at 2.5g/w, increasing your yield 50% or more compared with old blurple and HPS lights, 300 watts output. Dimmer knob added, more convenient to adjust the brightness. really easy to grow. Had some issues in the begging being underfed and low ph issues. But still grew through all the struggles. Wasnt the biggest yield but wasn't the biggest plant. So wasn't expecting truly much. The purple pheno gave me a zip and half about. The other green one gave me a zip dry. Both smell lovely and can't wait. Will come back next week or so to update smoke report. Also fixing to make cannabutter from some of this can not wait ^_^ . Will grow it again but in a bigger pot maybe.

💀- El sustrato All-mix de biobizz, retiene demasiada agua, creando una capa superior de musgo, y retrasando el secado del sustrato. y generando tayos morados en algunas plantas, por falta de oxigeno. 👌- Se baja la humedad (RH), de 60%-65% a 50%-55%, se remueve la parte superficial del sustrato para airear el sustrato y permitir mayor oxigenación. 💀Al regar con un agua base de OI (0,07), le cumplimentamos con Sensi Cal-Mag xtra, subiendo demasiado el EC si lo mezclas con otros fertilizantes, al menos en esta etapa del cultivo. 👌- Solo cumplimentar con Sensi Cal-Mag, en riegos con (solo agua), o en casos donde no llegues al EC correspondiente, teniendo en cuenta la saturación del sustrato por estos macronutrientes. 👽- Las plantas muestran un buen aspecto, sin mostrar síntomas de carencias y/o excesos. These are doing pretty damn good for the most part. I figured out with the green buzz the only thing in bloom that raises ppm is the base bloom and the more PK which is good to know. Also been using lower ppm for the autos and they seem healthier than usual. These pics and the video were taken on Day 36.

Hey there! Welcome to this diary! I made it easy back in 2021. Sorry in advance for the Spanish audio. For my germination method I always use both the glass of water and the paper towel. Let me explain, the glass of water only goes for 6 to 12 hrs, it's just a soak that also contains 3-4 drops of hydrogen peroxide, this way we kill all pathogens that the seed may have on the outside. Then to a warm, moist and dark place with the paper towel, this seed sprouted pretty fast using this method. Then, once it has that tiny mouse tail of it goes to the pot, I keep it moist by putting a transparent cup upside down. Just to keep the dates, it just took from the 17th to the 19th to go from the cup with water, to the paper tower, to the soil, AND SPROUT!!

This week the ladies got topped at about 5 node spaces. They’re loving the nutrients and the light! I plan on starting the flowering process in about a week!

This is week 4 around day 22 a few more days and flower will begin. I didn't want to push them to far to the edge of my 1.5 mx 1.5m space because of the restriction of the 600w hps flowering set up.

12.09.2023 Tag 52 - Woche 8 / Tag 3 Licht: 45cm – 80% Lichtzyklus: 18/6 Luftfeuchte: 58% Temperatur: 26°C VPD: 1.4 kPa Bemerkungen: Höhe Apricot: 46cm Höhe Watermelon: 34cm Es gab ein paar Probleme mit dem Mischungsverhältnis, aus dem die viel zu zeitige Blüte der Wassermelone und guter N Stress bei beiden Damen hervor ging. Insgesamt haben die Beiden das Alles aber gut überstanden und hauen nun dicke Nuggets raus. Ich gieße täglich gut 2 Liter H2O an die Damen und genieße ihren Duft nach Feierabend. 😍 Es gibt mehr Updates die Woche. ########################################################################################################################################################################################################## 15.09.2023 Tag 55 - Woche 8 / Tag 6 Licht: 40cm – 80% Lichtzyklus: 18/6 Luftfeuchte: 60% Temperatur: 27°C VPD: 1.5 kPa Bemerkungen: Ich habe es ein wenig mit dem Wasser übertrieben. Es gibt einen Neuankömmling im Zelt. Ich weiß noch nicht, ob es ein Tagebuch geben wird, aber die Dame wird zumindest immer wieder Gastauftritte haben... und es wird eine sehr schöne Dame werden... A esta pequeña Gorilla glue no le queda casi nada para ser cortada. Crece realmente sana y fuerte 💪💚 Vamos a mantener los nutrientes 1 semana mas para ver lo que se desarrollan las puntas y lo que engordan los cogollos para dejarle paso al lavado de raices y empezar a preparar la planta para su corte y secado 😊 Tengo muchas ganas de probar de nuevo esta variedad, en este caso de Weedseedsexpress que no he tenido el lujo de probar 😋

She start a little bit weak but then she is a big champion plant. Really nice colors. I recommend give all cares possible the firsts weeks and she will do the rest later. When I read that she is very good to extractions I never imagined how good she is for that. I get 159 g of trim from 3 plants. I honestly recommend this strain. I will upload better photos and more info about flavor, dry weigh and all the rest

Week 7 in the comedy of my garden journey, and my green squad has decided to embrace the art of being vertically challenged – they're like the plant version of a pocket-sized superhero team. "Short and sassy" seems to be their new motto. In an attempt to uplift their spirits, two of the ladies scored a new, roomier 3-gallon final home – it's like they moved from a cozy apartment to a botanical mansion, hoping a change of scenery would inspire some vertical ambition. They're probably comparing their new homes and deciding who has the fanciest leafy chandelier. However, the plot thickens as one plant emerges with a leafy fashion statement that's a bit too avant-garde – discoloration that could rival a Picasso painting. Is it a magnesium deficiency or an oxygen rebellion? The plant might as well be holding a tiny protest sign that says, "Give me answers or give me wilting!" Playing the role of a plant detective, I cranked up the fans, turning my grow tent into a botanical wind tunnel. It's like a leafy hurricane is sweeping through, and my plants are either loving the breeze or planning their escape. As a bonus, I threw in a leafy spa day – deformation and topping, because who doesn't love a good horticultural makeover? But wait, there's more! In the midst of the botanical sitcom, the humidity decided to play the villain in this leafy drama. It's like the humidity gauge is staging a rebellion of its own. So, armed with misters and perhaps a leafy motivational speech, I'm on a mission to turn my grow tent into a tropical paradise and give my plants the humidity vacation they didn't know they needed. Week 7 – where the plants are short, the homes are upgraded, the leaves are avant-garde, and the humidity is throwing a curveball.
