Hey, now were cooking, week 4 of flower and I see the stretch on the Time-Lapse. I am working on a watering system to replace the hand watering, It is becoming more difficult to get the 3 back plants so I got some goodies on amazon to make a semi-automatic system. nothing on a timer I'll just flip the switch on and off to feed or flush, more on that next week. so far they are starting to bud, I took some of my Feminized pollen and rubbed a bud on one of each strain, I hope to get a cross if not the I'll still get buds. so the Royal gold Tupur really holds the moisture these things can go for 3-4 days with out water. That makes me nervous with the RH at 73% I might have to put on the Dehumidifier on and set it to 50%-55% RH. ok they If you have any thoughts or comments feel free to, Be safe GODZILLA vs KONG in March... Very fun strain to grow. Easy to train and love to get big. We had 2 different expressions on the plants and both where very pleasing. Both plants grew vigorously and provided me with just over 3/4 pound of dry medicine!

As above, definitely the weaker Linda Seeds one (out of 5) but that's down to the weather - and not being able to control it like you would indoors.

This plant came from a random seed I found in a dispensary bag and since we have dozens and dozens of bags I don't know which one it came out of...so the strain is unknown. I’m not sure whether it’s a photoperiod or an autoflower, but I’m assuming it’s a photoperiod for now. I started it indoors in a tent, germinating the seed using the paper towel method before planting it in a small quart-sized pot. It’s been growing for a few weeks in Fox Farm Ocean Forest soil, but the leaves have just started to fade, so I’m preparing to transplant it into its final home—a 50-gallon pot outdoors now that it’s spring. The 50-gallon pot is filled mostly with standard potting soil, mixed with Fox Farm Ocean Forest and perlite. A few weeks after transplanting, I’ll begin feeding it a combination of liquid nutrients including Advanced Nutrients, Fox Farm, CalMag, and Mikrobs Microbial Superpack. I’ll also top-dress with worm castings and other amendments as needed. If the plant turns out to be male, I’ll harvest the pollen or any seeds it produces. If it’s female, I plan to grow it as large as possible—which is why I’ve chosen such a large pot and moved it outdoors.

Can't keep up with defoliation once the autopots kick inn, best room upgrade ever. The Cuppa T was the biggest plant before the other four went in their autopots. Just pH water this week and a foliar feed with my KNF FAA, WCAP and LAB. Flowering start on the 29th under the new Lumatek Attis 300w

Week 9 is here and we are looking at harvesting! After checking the trichomes of just the top colas, I decided this week I was going to harvest. I am updating this post after I have dried and harvested the plant so do not have much more details. I flushed the plant this week with Flora Kleen along with terpinator and microbes. I cut down the plants and hung them up in the tent to dry using a clothes hanger with clips I got off of Amazon. It took 10 days to dry the bud and my temps and humidity would fluctuate throughout the day and night. I stayed in the mid to low 70s for temperature and humidity was at 50% at first. Then I added a humidifier and had it dry in 60% humidity. Will update the rest in the harvest update.

Start of week 7(May 3rd 2022). I’ve been using Lotus Grow every watering and so I decided to flush the pots with 7x their water holding capacity in the bathtub. I will be alternating between Lotus bloom/boost and a plant based “tea” from Dragonfly Earth Medicine called Fat Flowers. Lights were too close and caused marks on the leaves which look like deficiencies, I’ll keep a close eye until I can be sure. The petioles are purpling on the indoor plants as well(might be genetics though from the Strawberry Nuggets).

I have a new light with a bloom setting hopefully that will make a nice flowering. Got a new fan for air circulation. The new light has cooling fans. Haven't noticed any burns so im happy with my order. If you look at the last few pictures my tent is home made and cheap very cheap. The lights not an expensive one but I think its fine for now.

the girl is starting to grow faster :) in a suitcase, there is not much fresh air, so I think she doesn't like it, we'll see what happens next:)

Ladies and Gentlemen we are back!! This project started last Sunday an Germination week was a success for these Purple punch’s an Forbiddin Runtz from Fastbuds 😍! I went with my paper towel method, sprayed down paper towel with pure water, folded it up inside sandwich bag un seeled in a dark cupboard. Checked everyday to make sure paper towel was still moist and on 3rd day we had all 6 pop open! I planted them Wednesday and all 6 popped up in soil on Friday in my Ac Infinity pots using Fox Farms Happy Frog soil! Tomorrow we will give them a small dose of nutrients, will be doing nutes on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays only rest get pure water! The time is finally here to post the harvest. I waited till it was all done and dry before updating the dairy so will add in the dry weights next on the 2nd half of the harvest entry. Had some ups and downs with this plant. mainly the extreme yellowing that was happening. I should have treated this faster with a flush but was super reluctant and I feel this has suffered in the end. The top best looking buds could have been larger and the lower ones could have been thicker. There is some smells with this plant but they are not pronounced. Just smells like mild basic weed, this would be one reason not to grow it, however, the crystals on this plant have been the most I've ever grown before. When trimming them every time the scissors snipped or the brush stroked I saw some falling down onto the tray. This plant would be great for making hash. had a good little ball of finger hash at the end of it and will be giving that to my friends to smoke or make a strong edible with. I don't plan on growing this strain out again, the lack of smells and the fact I'm only trying to grow cbd dominate plants is the main reason. If my friends really like this I have some clones so can always give them some. Speaking of clones they are doing well outside, greened up a lot and showing signs of revegging. Took some photos of the weed hang drying on day 1 in the tent and a week later to show how much they shrink. most of the lower growth is quite larfy but will make good edibles or hash, that will be a fun project to do and may include that in my projects diary. I converted the cents into dollar amounts beforehand to avoid dividing by 100. 8.2c/h = 0.082$/h 438h * 0.17c/kwh = $74.46kw * 0.15kw = $11.17 on peak 522h * 0.113c/kwh = $58.99kw *0.15kw = $8.85 mid peak 1,272h * 0.082c/kwh = $104.30kw *0.15kw = $15.65 off peak The "h" hours and "kw" kilowatts cancel out and we are left with a value of $ dollars per peak period, add all the peak periods up and you get your total cost of running the lights in dollars. $11.17 + $8.85 + $15.65 = $35.67 for the grow light only. My light grew for 20 weeks and 4 days, or 144 days. almost 21 weeks total. $35.67 / 144d = 0.2477$/d average of about 25c a day in electricity 337.2kw for the entire grow. Using the regular calculation of grams harvested divided by watts used is not accurate to me, it does not account for all the time the lamps are on, the length of grow to the over all cost. The calculation that makes sense to me is this, harvested dry weight of usable cannabis buds/trim/keif/whatever in grams divided by total kw used. Could also combine it with grams per total single use costs “anything you used only for this grow and wont reuse in the next, or fractions of multi use items like fertilizers if they ½ full” and see how much you’re investing per gram. "kw" ÷ "g" = kw/g "$" ÷ "g" = $/g I have harvested 5.34oz or 151.6g on 337.2kw. 337.2kw ÷151.6g = 2.22 kw/g of usable cannabis. This is not an ideal ratio for me and looks like a lot of energy waste happened from the extended veg period. $35.67 ÷ 151.6g = 0.24c/g It cost 24c/g when comparing total electricity cost to gross yield, almost identical to the comparison of total electrical cost to the number of days in the grow 25c/day.
