Girls had a great week at summer camp! Smiles are found everywhere regarding their new homes. Plenty of room to grow and wiggle their toes in the amended formula 707, which is doing what was expected retaining moisture nicely, bringing the watering to a minimum. All three girls received merit badges for hiking(survived transplanting), water sports(2 liters), light tolerance(supplemental lighting), physical fitness(color and strength)and kite flying(added a fan). They are all looking forward to this weeks activities. Girls seem to like what they’re getting at the chow hall, green and growing daily, strong and upright. Plenty of good stuff in the soil. A fan was added and the benefits are three fold, dry out the top layer of soil, pest control, makes them stronger. I will update as needed. ***update, the girls are looking good this morning, well rested, well nourished, vibrant. Their roots must be really liking the 707 as evident by the rapid growth. Measured them this morning with the H. W. At8 in. the V. F. at 8.5 and the 91 Grapes at 10 in. And at least an inch wider as well. No water will be needed today. Note. The greenhouse may be better suited for growing mushrooms than cannabis. Pine trees and shade. No direct sunlight until after 2pm. Dappled sun all morning long, so installed a T-5 4 foot ArgroLed 6550(k) daylight led fixture above the girls. That was a bright idea! ***update, New Video includes new homemade lighting.

This week was a big week for the candy cush. I noticed upon watering her to run off, that in the same day the pot would go super dry and light weight. I also noticed stress in the leaves and roots poking out the bottom of the pot. It was time for a transplant. So far so good! Upon transplanting i performed more LST to help her fill in the pot. She went from a 1 gallon to a 5 gallon. She was also defoliated thia week.

The Jack Herer is dense and frosty colas, covered in trichomes with a nice mix of cloudy heads. Compared to the Northern Lights, it clearly had more weight and resin, making the harvest very satisfying. For the last days, I only gave CalMag and plain water adjusted to pH 6.3

I will be applying some pollen I collected to specific branches each week to make sure they've been pollinated. The Acai Gelato bud is looking different than before. The whole tent may be pollinated to be honest. The pistils have receded and it's looks more like plant matter rather than pistils and calyxes Come check out my YouTube. El ph se controla en 6.0 , la temperatura la tenemos entre 24/20 grados y la humedad ronda el 50%. El ciclo de floración puse 12h de luz, el foco está al 100% de potencia. De momento van creciendo a buen ritmo y tienen un buen color. La flor está engordando y van formándose, también empieza a producir tricomas. Hey Growmies! I’ve been out of town, so this entry is a bit off-schedule, and watering was handled by an automatic irrigation system. That said, the flowers are looking big and developing fast, with senescence in full effect. The leaves are yellowing significantly, which tells us the plants are now entering the late stage of their lifecycle. They’re basically ready for harvest any day now—depending on your individual preference. I’m going to let them ride a little longer to aim for no more than 10% clear trichomes. 🙂 --- Quick rundown on everything else: Watering: 1500ml every third day Fertilizer: According to the BioBizz schedule Light intensity: ~1000 PPFD VPD: ~1.82 kPa Temperature: ~28°C Relative humidity: ~50%

welcome to one of the last episodes of the BIG Cheese twins chronicles! ...I cannot believe it either, but when i checked her trichomes this morning, with my microscope.. she is as good as done!!(the FAT, smaller one at least) So beautiful trichomes she has too.. a lot of them looked like lil' chuncks of cheese! (deep yellow, with spots on them 😁) But a lot of old cheese too (orange, brown) so think gonna chop her end of this week!(be4 it starts raining again..😎) Its finally sunny weather so gonna let her enjoy the sunshine some more 😎 dont think her sister is ready yet (the tall skinny one) but she will get there soon enough! She is covered with trichomes.. my camera had a hard time focussing in the buds so sprakly!!😻 So the next episode of the cheese twins chronicles will be a harvest!! The last two weeks have not been so good. I'm having problems but I don't know what's wrong. Watered till runoff, maybe it will help, wish me luck

Die letzte Woche vor dem Stretch, mal schauen wie sie diese Woche wächst :)

In awe at this batch 2 weeks remaining and they are pretty swollen Smells and swells. Can hints of change in color but still a pretty, green. Buds already snowcapped. And the selected branch that was pollinated has seeds Maturing.

Opium is quite fantastic, the incredible storms have not harmed her in any way and she is booming the blooming stage! Aside from a few dark spots on her leaves there are not any complaints from us and if you could smell how delicious her aroma is, you would understand why. Our only addition to the weekly maintenance has been Epsom salts in the rain barrel, Opium also had a one time dusting of coffee grounds to the top of her soil bed. Our only worry is the weather this year, the storms have been fierce and the rain will not let up. Our temperatures at night are quite low already, the two biggest fears for an outdoor grow is bud rot and or not finishing before the frost arrives. We are confident that our Opium will be fine although only time will tell.

Last week of veg for this round, next Monday they will start 12/12 in the flower room and get stripped. Watering daily and they are growing fast and looking great, can't wait to see how flower goes for these ladies.

~ FASTBUDS TESTER #2204 ~ Well friends, here we go on another 'canna-venture' together! The grow room has had a complete remodel and some upgrades done to it including brand spanking new 4x8 and 4x4 tents and a Trolmaster Hydro X controller along with a new Control Panel. This tester strain is one of six tester strains that FastBuds has graciously provided me with and I'm looking forward to seeing what this girl has to offer when she's grown to her full potential! One drawback of 'testers' is I have little to no information on it other than its number and that it's an autoflower... 🤪 But, it's ALWAYS a blast growing them for me because not knowing a lot allows me to just concentrate on the essentials: Light, Environment, Water, Nutrients and possibly a bit of LST... not complicated, just basics like keeping a constant temperature and RH in the tent at a level that gives a good VPD, watering when almost dry and maintaining proper light levels according to their stage of growth. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ~THE SETUP~ ~Initially seeds were lightly scuffed, then soaked for 3 hours in 78℉ distilled water after which they were transferred to moist paper towels laid out in a Jiffy Pellet plastic starter tray with lid. Underneath the tray was placed a Vivosun Heat Mat with Controller that was set to 78℉ where they stayed until their tap roots emerged. ~Planted into Jiffy Peat Pellets that were hydrated with distilled water warmed to 78℉ with a 7.0 ph. ~Once roots emerge from the Jiffy Pellet they're transferred to their fabric pots. ~Grown 100% organic in a 4g Gronest fabric pot and a 3g fabric pot by Wraxly filled with Mother Earth 70/30 Coco/Perlite medium and initially amended with Dr. Earth 4-4-4 / Earthworm Castings / Dr. Earth Flower Girl 3-9-4 and Coast of Maine Stonington Blend Organic Plant Food 5-2-4. ~19/5 light cycle for the entire run with supplemental UVA added during flower. Lights are controlled by a Trolmaster Hydro X controller set for a 15min Sunrise/Sunset simulation. ~Top dressing every 3-4 weeks with slow release dry amendments and Earthworm castings. ~Straight water ph'd @ 6.2-6.8 when needed and bi-weekly Compost Tea's. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 12/1- I soaked both seeds for 3 hours in 78℉ distilled water after which they were transferred to moist paper towels laid out in a Jiffy Pellet plastic starter tray with lid. Underneath the tray was placed a Vivosun Heat Mat with Controller that was set to 78℉ where they stayed until their tap roots emerged roughly 24 hours later. 12/3- Today their tap roots were about 1/2 to 3/4" so at 11 am I transferred them into Jiffy Peat Pellets that were hydrated with distilled water warmed to 78℉ with a 7.0 ph using a tine off of a plastic fork as a 'mini trowel' to make a hole in the pellet and to gently cover the tap root, leaving only the seed head slightly exposed. This method accomplishes most of the initial work the seed has to do by eliminating having to orientate itself, push it's root down and head up. By 10pm the #1 seed had her cotyledon leaves opened and the #2 isn't far behind! 12/5- Well this is the full Day One for the #2 FBT #2204 and the second day for her sister! I'll keep them in the covered/heated Jiffy tray until I see their roots beginning to emerge from the peat pellet, then I'll transfer them gently into their respective fabric pots. The #1 will be going into the 4g Gronest pot from FastBuds and the #2 will reside in a 3g pot by Wraxly, which I'm trying out for the first time. 12/7- Yesterday I checked the #1 tester and she had roots starting to emerge from her pellet so I transferred her into her 4g Gronest pot. After making a hole in the medium for the peat pellet, I coated the entire surface with Xtreme Gardening Mycos then placed the pellet in the hole and planted her in. Lastly, I watered her in with about 4oz of de-chlorinated water with 3ml/g of FishShit added which was then ph'd to 6.4 @ 75℉ after which I placed a humidome over her for 24hrs to ensure that the humidity stays constant. The #2 tester is doing great and I'm confident that she should be ready to transfer into her fabric pot in the next couple of days! 😎💚 Thank you for checking out my passion in life! Okay, that's it, I couldn't watch her suffering like that anymore. Her trichomes could've gone a little longer, but her overall appearance clearly was over it. The lack of aroma and stickiness from the trichomes worries me, but I do know how much she struggled during flower and that the nutrient availability in the soil was off, so I'm not really surprised. I've downgraded my expectations for the end result quite a bit over the last couple of weeks to a more realistic level considering the circumstances. For drying I'm trying something new - I've got a wine chiller, a poor man's Cannatrol, that I want to keep the temps low during drying in summer and for curing and storing in general. Curious to see what effect this has on the dried buds.
