We survived Hurricane Beryl baby...time to flower up.

This week went pretty well, but I don't have much time for an update as I literally spent all day trimming up the wedding cheesecake, and now I am heading out of town to coach a baseball tournament. She is growing some nice thick colas, and I am still feeding her the same. Plants growing lovely getting big took well to topping, slight yellowing on bottom leaves so will have to up the grow slightly

Week 4 and buds are beginning to fatten up nicely, I’ve changed the position of the gelato and one of the Zkittles to improve light penetration into the canopy as the leaves have began to defoliate themselves from the plants. This being said all plants are looking green and healthy and show minimum environment stress. Hopefully this change in the canopy will allow each of the strains to grow to their full potential with the limited space that I have.

Very Happy plants, soaking up the rays. When you place your face near the buds you get an amazing sweet fruity aroma, the leaves smell like skunk and cheese. Each plant is getting 10 liters every 4 days. I water with 6.3ph tap water twice for every time I add nutrients. I use Alaska fish fertilizer when its been a few times since a nutrient feed but the plants are showing no deficiency's. They are Fed by a drip system which takes 16 hours to deliver the 10 liters to each plant, this works really well in the Fabric smart pots. I use metal racks to keep the plants off the ground then place a drip tray underneath each plant. When using the drip system very little run off occurs. I added a spider farmer sf-1000 to the room, it is full spectrum and ir, and is great for getting the corners of the room or the less dense areas of the canopy.

2 plants made it to harvest. Small nugs, about an ounce per plant dry. A lot of frosty trim and small nugs I’ll be using for hash later. I had rooting issue when I flipped to flower that definitely negatively effected nutrient uptake. Small yield but quality is good. Smells almost like a sugary jelly bakery. Cured for a week, tastes sweet almost.

Oh it was a special week. Day 21 of flower marks the Silver Back Guerilla defoliation day!!!! I left one be. For him. To prove me wrong. BUT!!! That one had some dead leaves at the bottom that needed removal, not the defoliated plants!! Time will tell as to if what Im doing is right. I stick to my guns that this works for my room. Even though I read differently, removal of foliage has lowered my rh. Could very well be outside environment, however. By day 21F the room was a bush again. In my opinion, it needed the heavy defo to breathe. As for light penetration, I am extremely happy with the amount of heads receiving direct light. there are very few amber trichomes, so it still needs a week. it sure looks great though. It's extremely greasy to the touch, and rank with bright fruit flavor.

The girls have grown nicely and accepts defoliation pretty well id say. I know this is a pretty discussed subjet , some say its bad but since i did not bought thoses seeds i figured awww why not give it a try! I am now switching to full bloom nutes

6.12.25. 6th week flower started on 6.9. Gorilla zkittles still looking like a Frankenstein after being stunted by tying her down and being way stressed out! Still growing away though putting on bud but this is the smallest plant i have ever grown! Little disappointing but can’t wait for next grow! I’ll never stop growing been going strong for 15 years! Commencing week 3/Day 15 on November 7th* My 🍋 🍰 (Lemon Cake) & 🌻💣 (Flower Bomb) cross stock/stash has been transferred into foam cups with Pro-Mix. Light water with spring water and misting and they look like happy babies under the same lights in my parlor/living room they have been under since being sown. After transplanting the personal stock; I moved the germination tray and dome along with the remaining GZs, BHs, 818s, and RD into the basement aka 'grow area' to acclimate: as this will be their new home. This basement is my hydroponic grow area and has a much lower ambient temperature - which is great for flowering - but can be tricky with vegging depending on how this winter 2018 treats us New Englanders. We shall see. Also the humidity is harder to control but I believe this year I am better prepared to manage optimally. So now in order to follow along I must explain this. I have separated the seeds doc from my own and the feminized ones I have paid for. The stats reflected in the diary that you will now see Will Follow the hydro setup but I will continue to explain in the comment section the soil grow up stairs stats. Day 15 my personal stock will remain upstairs underneath the 600 watt umbrella Hood that is dialed down to 250 Watts. (Which is shared with house plants). The lighting shedule here is 12/12. the intention here is to basically treat them as houseplants and be happy with whatever I get while I take note of phenotype variation and maybe hopefully I'll find a keeper or two 😄 They are now in one quart size foam cups of Pro-mix. the ambient temperature is 75 degrees and the humidity stays around 55. Day 15 my paid for/professionally bred seedlings were acclimated to their new environment in the basement for a little while and then transplanted into their new outfits: 3.5 gallon deep water culture (DWC) buckets with 6 inch net pots, lava rock medium and regular 2 inch airstones. These plants are under a predominantly T5 lighting with the exception of two being under T5 and a diamond series LED with flowering Spectrum turned completely off and vegging Spectrum dial down to only 50 Watts. The lighting plan here is to keep them under 24 hours for just a few days. Day18 the Gorillaz are beastly little things. They are growing the fastest and largest. The Boss and the Raspberry are close behind the GZ and tied for second place. The 818's still seem to be runt-like. Otherwise all in the hydro looks healthy. Also last night I put timers on so the plants are getting 16/8 (in the form of 8hrs on followed by 4hrs off. This happens 2x per 24hr day. Reason being that I've read the rate of photosynthesis peaks at 6hrs and then descends) lastly I've been PHing daily down stairs only making minor adjustments and keeping the PPM between 550-600 ppms Day18 the Parlor stock is still doing well also. I've noticed this so far as differences:. The leafs are smaller and darker then the basement strains. And there seems to be more stem growth, or maybe stretch. Otherwise these plants are rivals the others in size. Except for the 2 🍋 🍰 seedling that popped open almost a week after the others. Day 21Nov21 - the PH is staying nice around 5.8 for 3 days now with no minor adjustments. Removed all mini plant stakes (ie paperclips etc lol), little baby seedlings no longer need help staying propped up. Root hairs are poking out in every direction of Root Riot cubes, (see video) excited because once those roots hit the waterrrrrrrr 💣boom explosive growth! As far as growth goes all three GZ still in lead. I might even have one early starting purple💜 🦍 baby (see pic of GZ2 DAY 21) *This is day 15 from seeds being sown on Oct 22nd, not popped open and or tap root showing etc.

Another great week for these girls! They look great! Yes, thats what they look like. No filters, just frosty buds. They have a very unique "sweet/candy" smell to them. It's very hard to pinpoint. I'll be so curious what the final product becomes. This tent is doing wonderful compared to the disaster this week in the other tent. (A whole set of genetics hermed mid flower and another girl got aphids). So this is great to have such a wonderful tent here. The trichomes are really coming through now. The amber is starting to show on one plant. I'm happy cuz the breeder says 55-63 days but I might pull the one in the middle at 49 days. We

My permanent marker plants are looking really interesting! The short and stocky one with the purple leaves is super vibrant. I love that pop of color against the green of the other plants. It's a little different from the taller plant, which has this really cool stacked-up look to it. I'm curious to see if those stacked-up leaves will change color too. The past few weeks have been so beautiful, watching the plants grow and change. It's amazing how something so small and fragile can turn into something so strong and vibrant. Now that they're getting ready to bloom, it feels a little bittersweet. I'm so excited to see the finished product, but I'll definitely miss having them around while they're growing.

GSC is doing great she’s covered in nice bud and winding down now , she’ll back off on the feed this week and start flushing next week . I’ve already picked a few smokes off of this little monster and it tastes so nice . I super cropped a few of the taller buds just to get them out of the light so much and gave her a defol, she’s happy as .
