Continuing the journey with the HiHolyHigh selection in this 8th cycle Living Soil bed. The canopy is looking mostly uniform, though a few cultivars (RS11, Colorado Nightshifter, and Runtz HHH) are taking a bit longer to fully acclimatize to the environment. Key Technical Details: • IPM: Fully up to date and strictly maintained. • Soil Moisture: Keeping levels constant within the optimal range to ensure the soil microbiology remains active. • Biological Activity: Applied avocado tech today to congregate and stimulate the worm population on the top layer, prepping them for the upcoming pre-flower re-amendment. Nutritional Notes: The space is almost completely filled, but I’m noticing a slight Magnesium deficiency in the Animal Tsunami and the RS11 is currently recovering from a minor Nitrogen lockout. I’ll be spending this week dialing in these corrections to ensure they are 100% healthy before flipping to the flowering cycle.

Blue Dream extreme is doing well. Still has a high amount of nitrogen in her system. I did a solution change yesterday and lowered my ppm to 200 range. The flush continues, straight tap water. Plant od looking great! Took off some tester buds and drying them. The CM is taking a few weeks longer in flower, looks like it will be another week. I am not surprised at all, this one was on the outside edge of lights. All in all it is doing very good under the circumstances. I have decided to chop the most mature plant of the three, even though it could go longer I was originally going to be chopping all three because I am about to leave on a trip, however a friend of mine is able to take care of the other 2 less mature ones. I was planning on just saying fuck it and chop them all but the less mature ones have still mostly white pistils and I can’t bring myself to do it, they started putting more weight on these past few days and I know if they just could get a few more weeks they will really be amazing with a lot of weight. Interesting that one matured faster than the other 2, although I think this corresponds with the size of the buds as the mature plant’s buds are not particularly big, hoping to pull 25 grams at least from it. The less mature plants are beginning to bulk and as I stated earlier, I just can’t chop them and ruin all their potential yet. The calyxs are swelling a lot and looking super tasty. All plants are seeing an explosion of growth and have all recieved first topping with some plants already being topped for the second time at the point in the grow. Week 9: Flower - The First Harvest & Final Countdown! ✂️🌿 THE BIG CHOP IS DONE! Gorilla Z #1 has been harvested, and we're officially in the drying phase. Meanwhile, the remaining ladies are marching toward their own finish lines. Gorilla Z #1 - HARVESTED! 🎉 She's down! After weeks of growth, recovery from overwatering, and pushing through to the end, this girl finally got the chop. Trichome Check: Mostly cloudy/milky (peak THC production ✓) A few amber trichomes starting to show Minimal clear trichomes Harvest Timing: Honestly? I was in a rush—ran out of flower to smoke! 😅 But the trichomes were in a good window, so it worked out. Sometimes necessity makes the decision for you. Could've waited for more amber for a heavier effect, but she was ready enough. What's Next: Drying phase begins now Aiming for slow dry (60°F, 60% humidity if possible) Then comes the cure—patience will be tested again! The Relief: Finally got some homegrown coming down the pipeline. The timing couldn't be better! Gorilla Z #2 - End of Month Finish She's still chugging along in mid-to-late flower. Based on her current progression, she should be ready by the end of the month. There's something incredibly satisfying about chopping your first plant of the cycle. All the work, the stress, the learning—it all comes together in that moment with scissors in hand. Plus, continuous harvests = continuous supply! Running out of smoke as motivation: Look, we've all been there. Sometimes the best harvest window is "I'm out and I need flower NOW." 😂 The trichomes were good enough, and that's what matters. The Home Stretch Strategy For Heisenberg (flush phase): Plain water only, pH'd to 6.5 Monitor trichomes closely Watch for fade (yellowing leaves = plant eating itself = good!) Start thinking about chop day in 10-14 days For Gorilla Z #2: Continue full bloom nutrients for 1-2 more weeks Then begin her flush Harvest late February For Gorilla Z #1 (drying): Hang dry in dark, controlled environment Check daily—don't rush it! Week 3, check Had to battle fungusgnats again:( thought i had em all. So did a h202 3% 33/66 mix with water and flushed again-_- I also added a 1000 predatory Mites in the ballpark and nematodes. 420 Fastbuds Cherry Cola Auto 🍒 These two finished up beautifully I'd have to say. After getting the chop 1 came out to 230g and the other 205g wet weight. After a 6 days on the dry rack they're ready for the jar to start the curing process. They both came out very similar from weight, height, smell, and flower density. Some awesome genetics for sure 420Fastbuds. The dry weight came out to 97g after cutting out the remaining stems off. Will do an update on the smoke report after a week of curing. Was highly surprised in this strain because one fought me the whole grow but in the end even though didn't look the prettiest still had every quality of the other one that looked amazing.
