This week was interesting! Most if not all of the internodes have begun forming small preflowers. There is no white hair yet but I’m still hopeful that the plant is indeed female. The inner and new growths look healthy and strong. I’ve started using volcanic dust/dirt in my water to give the plant some more nutrients and it seems to really like the new mix. Still using egg shells and coffee grinds (having to use a whole lot as the pot is huge)) so far so good!

11/3 Week 6 Watered roughly one gal each @6.5PH, Fish Sh!t 5ml - Karo 1 tps /gal Flower Girl still in the pot, no deficiencies I can see, well new ones :) Mag-Sulfur Foliar spray (Epsom Salt 1tbs/gal) on all as leaving cal-mag out this time Moved the two healthy plants to the center of the light, they can use it, the others might respond well to lower levels. 11/4 Better pics uploaded Placed Brandy on a block of coco coir to bring her canopy up to Layla's level. Moved Maggie to the corner she has a stretch going that I HOPE is ending and I dont want to set the lights to her. Watching that plant carefully Considering a PK boost watching only Layla for that as the other two ... well hell what can they tell me? 11/5 Working to getting the canopy under control with one stunted plant and another stretching like crazy. Put a block under Brandy to move her up level with Layla. Trained down Maggie this growth needs to end, it was already stressed. Still giving light pref to healthy plants. 11/6 Raised lights three clicks, increased extraction, showing some heat stress in those edges. 11/7 Good results on the heat stress curling has ended. Noticed some improvement also in the tops of Brandy and Maggie, so raised lights another couple of clicks. Canopy is level now so lights set to Maggie being slightly taller ***Last update before the new week.*** May have found ONE of my problems,certainly not THE problem, but one. I have been using lemon juice as a PH UP since we went organic late last spring. Because of all the problems I have been looking into a lot of things further and found that lemon juice begins to degrade as a PH up after as little as an hour. A 6.0 PH water gallon can go to 6.5ish in 24 hours simply sitting in a dark corner in a jug. One can imagine the variances in soil. Why I dont know but I am going back to chemical PH additives post haste in fact its already done.

Umstellung auf 12/12 erfolgte diese Woche. Die Pflanzen haben sich gut vom CalMag-Mangel erholt und zeigen bereits Vorblüte. Wachstum ist kräftig, Blattfarbe gesund. Das SCROG-Netz wurde abgesenkt, die Triebe werden weiterhin sanft unter das Netz geführt, um eine gleichmäßige Canopy zu erreichen. Zwei Pflanzen sind etwas höher. Aktuell wird mit je 1ml/L BioGrow BioBloom und Calmag gedüngt (PH 6.2). Tag 21 Blüte gibt es dann ein ordentliches lollipopping und eine moderate Entlaubung. Soweit bin ich sehr zufrieden. Bin gespannt auf den Stretch, letzten Grow haben die Frosted Guavas sich nicht stark gestreckt. Allerdings sind die Bedingungen aktuell besser. Keine Trauermücken, effizientere Lampe und stabileres Klima.

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. Days 71 - 77 We are coming to end... I started to flush her, buds look big and the colors are appealing. At the end of this week she will go on her last trip.

Hello fellow farmers. Nothing special this week just consistent growth. I tell y'all there were no problems at all with this strain from the beginning of veg and throughout flower cycle so far. The strain gorilla banana eats good and grows very steady with slightly moist soil that's Top dressed with Alfalfa meal and high phosphorus fruit bat guano. They like the steady supply of nutrients and the buds are getting much denser. I can't wait to enjoy these lovely plants. These ladies seem to be getting ready to be harvested in a week or two.

Doing great. Leaves are perfect , plants are very happy. Growth is tall enough for trellis in this space very soon.

Starting off this new run strong!!! Loving how fast the sprouties are growing. They look pretty happy to me. Maybe bottled nutes are best for my indoor.

When I return just keep flushing down till harvest. She got about 2 more weeks or so cant wait to chop her :) smells so fucking good a super lemony diesel smell for sure. The #1 pheno is stacking away, and is going to have some large flowers! The #3, which along with the #1, has beautiful purple coloration in her flowers and albeit not as stacked as the #1, she's a stunner! The #2, which is missing the purple coloration, definitely wins for having the 'funk'. The #2's flowers are getting covered with trichomes and her aroma is super strong!🤪 11/21- All three continue to do well and are progressing through flower nicely. I'll be doing a drain/clean/refill on the AirCube reservoir tomorrow to give the girls a fresh dose of nutrients. 11/23- 🦃Happy Danksgiving Fam!😎💖 11/25- I'm continuing with running the AirCube reservoir for 5-6 days between drain/refill, only topping off with well water and checking.adjusting the PH. There's eight weeks past now since these girls broke ground and they're coming into the final stretch with only a couple of weeks to go. I sure need to get used to the Auto way of growing. My methods and system with soil for regulars are not directly portable to cultivating auto's, so it seems. So what started out as a comparison/battle, is now just a normal grow, since it's not fair that the battlefield was tainted. It does seem the XL Runtz adjust better to my climate and growing style than the Forbidden Runtz. Also looking for ways to keep my tent cooler. Considering growing outdoor this summer with seeds started in the tent. It gets way too hot in here as it is now, with outside temps just at 10 to 15 degrees C. I'm just watering, alternating with a bit of BAC Bloom and Calmag, and some Topmax. From here I hope its some smoother sailing and hoping the other three will pick up some pace.
