Hung them to dry today, very happy to say I have found 3 very very good keeper phenos which doesn’t surprise me as I have grown many seeds of this before. The pictures and video tell more than words can say. I have named my favourite pheno ‘john wayne’ as I have a convoy swagger about my walk every time I look at her😂 I lost this pheno a few months ago and so relieved to have her back plus two other great phenos. Barneys absolutely provides some real fire genetics and I have been a fan since blue cheese and pineapple chunk were released many years ago.

Aug 16: Lemon Cream Kush has stretched a bit and the buds are starting to fill in. Should be a decent yield and I’m looking forward to the tast of this one. Aug 18: video shows use of 730 nm far red light at dusk. Just a few seconds at the light time of day, everyday, during bloom, is all it takes. To keep to a natural schedule, I use Civil Twilight as listed on timeanddate.com for my location. Currently getting 2-3 minutes earlier each night.

The girls have recovered from the defol and are really filling out! 1 more week in the tub and then off to the flower tent. I started spraying lost coast plant therapy this week as preventative measures. It's given the leaves a bit of a deeper green shine, but otherwise, the plants are looking great!

She has turned into a beauty. Those pistils are flame like against the green, pink and purple nugs, exceptional 👌🏻what a strain. The smell coming off this is just straight fruit but the aroma is developing daily. Around 2 weeks remaining.

I've always been a fan of purple haze, so i'm hoping she is true to what I remember and love.. Another good week!! I defoliated the smaller of the 2 plants mid-week... I think she is doing very fine. A small hiccup with the feed that same night. Only a few leaves are showing any sign on nutrient burn. I went ahead and fed them again today. I plan on watering them in a day or two... they were very thirsty this afternoon!! So, I definitely need to up the watering. I've still been feeding 3 quarts twice a week. Otherwise, all seems to be going well!! They are frosting up very nicely!! So exciting!! Peace!! Update for grow question: @The8thChevron thanks!!! I pulled them and will hope for the best for now. So close to the finish line. If I see more trouble brewing I will pull the plant. I don't know how to answer directly to you on the grow question.... Thanks again!!

03/12/2019 Day 81 The Dr seems to be concentrating in forming buds but I think she's grown some half centimeter, is she going to touch the ceiling? She has to know that is is confined and the sky is not the limit, at least in her condition. Day 82 (04-12-2019) The shoot at the rear left is almost touching the celiling of the grow tent😨 and i keep on tying other shoots and keeping them the farthest from the burning lights (many leaves' tips are scorched, but fortunately it's just the tip and the bud is still far from that hot point. Other leaves that are close to the lights, well, I took scissors and there's no need to speak further. Look the hard work I'm having with this plant height's issue. Goddammit why can't I have a normal grow like everyone? Day 83 just looking the video and the pics is self explanatory. No further comments 😒 Day 84 Ithe tallest shoot has reached the ceiling and seems to try to keep on growing so she needed to start bending at the very top because she wouldn't get past the tent fabric. Regarding EC, I am using a fertigation solution about 1,3 mS/cm and the runoff EC at 1.5 mS/cm. EC has been kept controlled since I raised fertigation volume to 6 L per fertigation event (1/day), unfortunately this solution containing nutrients goes to waste :( Day 85 07/12 I'lllst the tops that get to touch the ceiling and keep observing and acting as needed. I fear she'll stilll keep going up for a while. Fertigations as usual, got runoff EC 650 ppm today (1.3 ms/cm) which I think it's very good of a value. Day 86 (08/12/2019) Following advice I defoliated and even cut some thin and improductive shoots. Removed a lot of foliage and even supercropped a long tall shoot, I want to see how this high stress technique affects her. Because I plan to keep it doing if other shoots decided to continue growing. I wonder why do shoots continue growing vertical after having passed the light's level. Is it the glow coming from the reflective walls perhaps? Many questions. I decided to take down some tall shoots by suspending little weights near the tip, it seems to work more or less fine. Day 87 luckily the HST seems to have worked fine, the shoots are recovering and point upwards again. The main tip is quite unruly, today I supercropped that tip. Runoff EC is 650 ppm, perfect. Day 92 /14-12-2019) I think that despite her exaggerate growth she's managing to thrive fine with some limitations, buds seems going well. Shoots are still growing vertical but supercropping and resistance seems to have hampered her a while, but now I see she engaged on growing some centimeters more :/ Day 93 two days from starting the 14th week, despite the lights and the heat of this season (added to the lights I had to keep the tent door open for there was 32 ºC inside) the Dr is taking it well, I see the buds foxtailing as I expected, and I'm positive this grow will get to a good end. I'll work day by day to achieve that. Regarding fertigation, I gave her a solution half concentrated (relative to the solutions that I had given her the preceding days) because I noticed salt build-up by the EC measurements. I left run off EC at 800 ppm which is still a bit high for my liking but not excessively. For the amount of runoff I collected today, I see she seems to be drinking a little more.

Week 2 Bloom (…or is it? 🤔🌱) Alright, here we are—officially week 2 of bloom, at least that’s the plan! But I’ve got to admit… I’m starting to wonder if I might’ve accidentally grabbed one of my Red Hot Cookies photoperiod seeds instead of an autoflower. 😅 She’s looking great, growing steadily, but so far, no clear signs of budding, which is a bit strange for this point. If nothing pops up in the next few days, I’ll move her into the tent with my Red Hot girl and start manual light deprivation—if my work schedule allows. Gotta stay flexible! 💡🌒 🕷️ Spider mites update: I’ve been on patrol—manually removed quite a few and today, the predatory mites finally arrived! Hoping they clean house and keep things in check. Thanks to regular compost tea and bi-weekly silica foliar sprays, the plants are holding up strong and showing good resilience. 💧 Feeding routine this week: BioBizz Grow + Bloom + TopMax Compost tea (as always, brewed with love) Silica spray twice for that natural armor 🌿🛡️ So even if the timeline feels a little mysterious, she’s thriving and stacking energy for what’s next. Ok so I’m not afraid to say 7.7oz shocked me on the wet weight, I had a goal of 1oz dry being a first time grower, factoring mistakes, this and that so I guess we’ll see if what comes as I read up to 75% in weight can be lost in drying and curing….so fingers crossed I hit my goal 🤞 I harvested based on the 1st photo, I cut a small piece of bud off the main cola at the bottom to really check it under a scope and saw red headed trichomes, so checked the lowest flower and had the same results (photo 1), this was after I’d asked a question earlier based on a photo I took on a leaf and was advised to check the buds instead…so thanks for that info there 👍 Also a big thanks for the comments the looks at this diary. Really looking forward to the next couple of weeks and seeing how the rest of this little venture pans out…I guess we just have to stay tuned😊🤘🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 12 Oct 2021: Harvested 16 Oct 2021: Plant seemed completely dry today which surprised me a little so I snapped stems and yus sir they were ready to be trimmed down….icky sticky, earthy, diesel, piney smells were the hints that were hitting me as I was trimming away, I have a lot of airy buds, which is on me! As a First time grower, until I actually got growing and started to understand the complexity and importance of keeping cannabis growing in stable conditions with par values on lights, feed schedules, trying to keep negative pressure in the tent with passive intake vents, adding lights, humidifier, dehumidifier, more fans…a learning experience indeed and not one I’ll be shying away from. Anyway there’s me blabbing on…..dry weight time 👀 38g/1.3oz and roughly 13g trim so I am extremely happy that even though I’ll probably lose about 8% of this during the cure, I think I made my 1oz goal of smokeable bud 🤘😊🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 A smoke report is due in 4 weeks when it’s had a bit of time to do what it needs to do!

I am starting a Mandarine XL Auto. I lightly scuffed the seed ends, and dropped her in water. I will be growing her under a Medic Grow mini Sun-2. She will be grown in Gen 1:11 nutrition. She will stay in the water for 24 to 48 hours. Once I see the tap root tail start. I will place the seed in the rockwool. I then will dome it the best I can, and keep moist. Started flush now. I'm adding Nature Delight Active Sugar Boost as it's been recommended to boost terpene production. No idea if it will work this late into flower but trying anyway as apparently it has no need to be flushed and is fully organic.
