Blütewoche 8 – King Juice kurz vorm großen Finale Zeitraum: 10. Juli bis 17. Juli Blütetag: 49 bis 56 Blütewoche 8 ist durch und langsam wird's ernst. Die King Juice steuert ganz klar auf die Zielgerade zu. Ich hab diese Woche nicht viel verändert. Ganz entspannt gegossen. Temperatur und Luftfeuchtigkeit kontrolliert. Der Wert lag zwischen 50 und 64 %, also alles im grünen Bereich. Einmal hab ich leicht entlaubt, damit die Luft besser zwischen den Buds zirkulieren kann. Zusätzlich hab ich noch einen Mini-Luftentfeuchter in die Box gestellt. Nicht das die Luftfeuchtigkeit doch nochmal höher wird als gewünscht. Gegen Ende der Woche gab’s dann nochmal eine ordentliche Ladung Wasser, insgesamt 8 Liter und auch die Würmchen haben was zu knabbern bekommen. Die Buds reifen weiter aus, und unter dem Mikroskop sieht man schon was. Einzelne Trichome verfärben sich von klar zu milchig und zum Teil schon leicht bernsteinfarben. Es ist noch dezent, aber der Prozess ist ganz klar im Gange. Ich schätze, eine Woche braucht sie noch, um richtig fertig zu werden. Wenn alles so weiterläuft, wird nächsten Donnerstag geerntet. Ich werde das natürlich noch ein paar Tage weiter beobachten und mich dann endgültig entscheiden aber mein Gefühl sagt, nächste Woche ist es so weit. Die Buds sind der Wahnsinn, richtig schön fett, kompakt, steinhart und voll mit Harz. Sie glitzern, kleben wie Sau und verströmen einen unfassbar fruchtig-süßen Duft 😍 Und was auch cool ist, ein paar Blätter haben sich leicht ins Lilane verfärbt, nicht ganz so stark wie bei ihrer Mutter, aber da geht vielleicht in der letzten Woche noch was. Mal sehen, bin gespannt. Ich kann mich ehrlich gesagt kaum sattsehen. Es ist einfach jedes Mal wieder ein Genuss, die Box aufzumachen und diese Pracht zu bestaunen. Ich bin super happy mit der Entwicklung und freu mich riesig auf die letzte Woche 😊

She's getting axed tomorrow! 😍 Last watering was just 6.0PH 6L Water to produce some fade but i think it was too late. She got nice colors going though. in dim light the black and orange really shines. She's also smelly 😷

The buds are beginning to swell more and more everyday. The smell is very pungent I can’t wait to see the results for this plant I am very pleased with the way everything is coming out.

Well here we are at the beginning of week 8. Super windy today but I got my new rain tarp up. June 25th gave all the plants pretty good snip except for Cinderella number 2 which is still slow but coming along tomorrow I may top all the other little branches not quite sure yet. just fucked up my pH metre by hitting the calibration button by accident and now I have no solution to recalibrate it so I'm going to have to wait and kind of wing it until the new one gets here in a couple of weeks but my pH in my house water is around 7- 7.5 12 ml of vinegar in 12 qts should be the ticket. Friday June 26th well I found a way to use clothes pins to use them as wait to hold the branches down I kind of like it tell me what you think. well looks like everything is coming along okay I keep the newts down I rather have them a little too lower than too high. well this is the last day of week 8 in July 1st and everything seemed to be going along fine but it looks like my Cinderella 99 run into a bit of a deficiency on the nitrogen and somebody let me know if this is right or not and if there's somebody in Toronto who can test the tap water for pH levels and let me know my pH metre is broken right now

Girl Scout Cookies Auto was suddenly ready to get chopped - I would've like to see a few more amber trichomes, but the fan leaves started yellowing faster, and more sugar leaves got crispy tips. Also, the smell got pretty strong over the last week or so. It was a very nice grow, and I'm curious on the yield and effect after drying and curing. Yuhbar Auto still needs a little more time, and will enjoy a few more days or weeks under the (artificial) sun, giving the trichomes more time to ripen.

Water change day 51. Too close to lights day 52. Used dimmer, prolly gunna buy a taller tent or modify this one. Day 54. Dimming helped, glad i caught it early.

d33 Hoy subo fotos unos días antes de esta semana, mejor, tendremos más fotos. Hoy me he puesto a revisar un poco las plantas y me he dado cuenta de que las Lemon Krystal son hermafroditas, la que estaba en la parte de dentro, solo tiene unos pocos sacos de polen que todavía no están maduros, se los he arrancado y cortado 2 ramas que tenían mala pinta con eso, el resto de ramas parece estar bastante bien y son flores macho, la Lemon Krystal que esta mas cerca de la puerta del armario, esta bastante mal y la tendré que desechar ya que no quiero que polinice al resto de plantas. También una Kandy Kush, la de la derecha, le he quitado 2 flores macho, no parecía tener más, unas flores espontáneas, pero semillas a granel a veces pueden pasar estas cosas, no es lo normal, pero parece que la cepa de Lemon Krystal esta un poco jodida... Para añadir, la LK que parece que podremos sacar adelante(pero bajo supervisión) tiene una rama que tiene 4 cogollos en vez de 2, mola, pero si no se pone a sacar flores macho, la podremos continuar haciendo seguimiento. Tenemos un cogollo de la Kandy Kush(planta del centro) que es doble. Puede ser que tengamos algo polinizado en el Indoor, pero pues es algo que ha pasado, espero no tener muchas semillas mermara la calidad... d35 Unas fotitos rapidas... Parece que estan progresando las deficiencias, a final de semana añadiremos un poco m'as de abono a ver como responde

day 9: the roots start to come out of the netpot slowly (see picture) the water level is 1 inch under the netpot, the bubbles make the roots wet. nothinh much to do here just waiting for water change. the ph has gone up to 6.0 maybe because of the rockwool touching the water when the water level was higher. in the next days i expect the roots to go in the water day 11 (december 15) roots com trough net and i did water change with double strength (507ppm) calmag to around 200 and 100ppm of each three part bottle

Week 4 update - had to list it as a flower week as we flipped em half way through. Exotic wasn’t lying - the spicy bitches hit maturity rather quickly and we now have a guaranteed 2 males and 3 females - perfect ratio score👌👍. Balls started showing in a span of 12-36 hours. One of the females entered flower early so she may be a dud, an auto or just stressed for some unusual reason. We’ll probably either separate er or let it grow with the rest and pitch it. Won’t be using that seed knowing that underlying issue. Similarly, one of the males has also demonstrated some fan leaf mutation - I actually like this kind of variation and it makes things interesting so bonus there👍. The rest of em are doing just fine. So god damned nice to have a run that’s on a quick schedule to finish within 3 months. It’s been a long year for the pollen chuck and we’re really looking forward to the upcoming all fem. Run. For now though - conditions look ripe for a bunch of awesome crosses, any one of which could be pure 🔥. Till next week yall🤟. Background Fingers crossed that these Spicy Bitch regs provide at least one male so that we can back build some stock of it. In the event that does take place we’ve got a single clone of each strain from the previous pollen chuck to sit in the tent with them so they can make babies for the next few months. The whole point of the last year was to start making some foundational genetics for a third generational cross we could call our own. If you’ve been following along than you’ll know that it’s been anything but easy. Our previous pollen picks didn’t pan out at all so we’re back to the drawing board with a new option from ExoticSeeds. This’ll be a 10 plant run with 5 regs and 6 strains for pollination including the strain itself. We’re running in a 2x4 MarsHydro grow tent all powered by a Mars Sp6500. That’s a little more than 600w packed into half the recommended footprint😳. Why? you ask - because we like our buds big and overcompensatory😂. Really, I’m just of the mind that we can pack more light into this space than recommended and get much better results. The math doesn’t lie. At least not as long as I wasn’t high when using the calculator again….. Many thanks to @MarsHydroLED for the opportunity to test run the equipment👊. In addition, we’ve also moved to a new nutrient system - Druid Nutrients out of the Netherlands. They don’t really have a presence on GD yet but you’ll be hearing about them very soon I’m sure. The beauty of this system is that it’s literally a 1 (one) component system for the entirety of the plants grow cycle. It really has changed the game in terms of ease of feeding and maintenance. It’s also very versatile and seems to provide everything needed across multiple different strains in the same ratios. Keep your eyes peeled for these folks. Pretty much a guarantee that they absolutely blow up once more people know about them👍👌😎. Strain Background Spicy Bitch: predominantly sativa, heavy yielder with a daytime kinda trip profile. It’s a cross of Queen Mother and a Pre-2000 AK47. We’ll pull what pollen we can and hope to have a female run out a larger supply of seed for the future. A fellow growmie was kind enough to ship over some S1 genetics I took an interest in. The only ask back was that if I did cross it to send a few his way for testing👍. It’s a compact and squat plant requiring very little maintenance. Typical for the strain really. It’s been chosen as an option to potentially mellow out the high , shorten the stature of the resulting hybrid and inject it with some of that mellow indica effect. Boogie Nights - total shot in the dark. Still haven’t even tried the strain myself yet but it was available at the right time and interesting enough to make a salad with. Big thanks to AMS who’ve been nothing short of an excellent seedbank to collaborate with. Expect similar growth characteristics to that of the Northern Lights. Better resilience however. Blueberry - this particular clone is from extremely strong stock. Spliff seeds broke the mold with this strain. She’s lower maintenance than the NL, more resilient than anything else we’ve got on the menu and the terp. Profile on this girl is out of this world. If we can bring any of these qualities to the cross, then it could be magic👌. White Widow - garrghh, I just can’t get away from this particular plant. Again, still haven’t even tested the buds yet and all I can say is that the growth characteristics are extremely vigorous and desirable. This plant is one of 3 unicorns that I have yet to tame due to a combo of extremely bad luck and circumstance. All told, it’s still the same story: a VERY experimental breeding project designed to shotgun a broad swath of genetics against a reliable and dependable Breeder who’s put out proven fire 🔥🤟😎👍.

Calcium strengthens cell walls, preventing issues like tip burn and weak stems, while magnesium plays a critical role in chlorophyll production, allowing plants to efficiently absorb light energy. 💡 Signs of Deficiency: • Yellowing between veins (Magnesium) • Rust spots on leaves (Calcium) • Slow growth and weak stems ⚡ How We Address It: • Slightly increasing RO Water Conditioner to see if trace minerals help • Keeping an eye on overall nutrient uptake to ensure no lockout • Monitoring VPD (Vapor Pressure Deficit) closely to optimize nutrient absorption Let’s see how she reacts next week! Branching Development – Pheno #2 Leading the Race All five phenos are thriving, but Pheno #2 is showing the most aggressive branching, pushing outward faster than her sisters. However, overall, we’re seeing very uniform growth, which speaks volumes about the stability of these genetics. 🌱 What is Branching & Why It Matters? Branching is the plant’s way of expanding its canopy, increasing surface area for photosynthesis, and maximizing potential bud sites. Well-structured branches allow better airflow, light penetration, and more even growth—key for a successful high-yield harvest. ⚖️ Topping vs. Leaf Bending – The Training Choice Instead of topping, I’ve decided to go with leaf bending for now.
