Day 49 Flower Hey Growers. I did a flush last week to get my runoff closer to 1050. I’m not sure why this happens that I get tip burn doing FFW. Maybe I start ramping up flower nutes too much too quickly. I have tip burn on my Blue Dream too. I’ve gotta come up with a solution as it buggers everything up. Flushing and Dealing with tip burn instead of packing on size. This is a 10 wk strain so I’m not as concerned cuz there’s lots of time and I think I got ahead of it. The nugs are smaller, marble to golf ball sized but hard as a rock already. The smell is of over ripe lemon when it get that sweet and Hazey earthy woody characteristic. I’m going to feed 2 more weeks and try the Advanced Nutrient Overdrive that I have kicking around. Then flush heavy for 1 ish weeks and hopefully get a nice fade. The Vipar spectra XS2000 is doing a great job, it has me wondering if I could use it to flower a 4x4 of autos. Its super strong. My poor man’s light mover has the plants getting a ton of light every other day with a nice rest in between. There is no light burn or yellowing, a tiny bit of leaf edge curl that goes away during its rest day. I am very happy with this light and know it’ll blow up whatever I run in here next. I've mixed silica with other nutes before but I had read something earlier about bioavailability issues and I didn't want to risk it. My plants are the healthiest I've ever grown. I'm considering transplanting the large 10th planet that I'm light depping. I also need to develop my ipm and my nute schedule. Still gonna have to keep an eye onvthe water situation. Luckily I have a buddy in my corner that's co tinualkt Bern a great help. WENT BACK OVER AROUND NOON. BEAUTIFUL OUTSIDE AND THE PLANTS WERE LOVING THIS SUN. I DEFOLIATED SOME BURNED LEAVES AND MIXED A SOLUTION IF KELP ME KELP YOU THAT I PLAN TO FEED TO THE GARDEN TODAY. IM HAPPY WITH HOW THINGS ARE GOING. WE HAVE SOME RAIN AND THINDERSTORMS COMING. Went back over to put the girls to bed at six and if was still 90 degrees. The water from yesterday had dissipated. The tops were dust dry. I mixed two gallons of kelp you kelp me and fed it to the garden. Afterwards I pointed qbd found a couple plants that were more open to the wind were a little lighter. I know tomorrow will be very hot. Maybe quarter inch of rain. However after that it will rain (showers) off and on for days. I wanted to make sure the girls had what the needed to make it through tjis heat wave until they get that rain. I had another gallon mixed up and I'm thinking I should've given it to them. Oh well. I'd rather underwater than overwater any day. I did notice a burnt top on the plant furthest from the tarp that the sun JUST BARELY TOUCHES when the rest are in shade. I'll just raise the tarp a little. These are tiny problems. Can't upload video until tomorrow. 6/24 Good thing u gave the plants that water. I know it wasn't much but we didn't get any rain. Suppised to get a qtr in today and another qtr in tomorrow. Then rain a couple more days. It's working our really good for my watering schedule lol. Yesterday the girls got there first dose of a bottled nute. They got two gallons of kelp me kelp you (1/3 tsp per gallon) and another gallon of just phed water. I was going to do another gallon but held off due to the threat of syring rain. Didn't get it bur it looks like the plants loved the kelp. It had reached 90 yesterday. They look better today. It's 70 at 9 today. I LST the 10th planet in the 3 gallon. It's getting huge. I should start a separate diary for those three light dep plants. Its cool as hell watching this. One of the purple punches is flowering pretty good. I probably should start another diary for them. I'll be starting to feed my plants soon. Wondering if I should pinch plants again. TUCKED THE LITTLE GIRLS IN AT SIX AND SHOT A VIDEO AND TOOK SOME PUCTURES. PLANTS LOOKED PHENOMINAL! GOT HOME AND AROUND SEVEN IT JUST STARTED RORREBTIAL DOWNPOURS! THE TYPE OF RAIN THAT BREAKS STEMS. I SHOULDVE PUT MY OTHET TARP UP BUT I DIDNT. I WISH I HAD. IM A LITTLE NERVOUS. I KNOW THESE GIRLS ARE STRONG THOUGH! TOMORROW. ILL ROLL THE RARP UP AND SECURE THE BOTTOM FOR FAST ACCESS. IM ALSO GOING TO KOOK INTO FINDING A TOP FOR MY CAGE I CAN USE IN INCLIMENT WEATHER. 6/25 That little qtr in of rain we were supposed to get turned into torrential downpours and high winds. Luckily no REAL damage. If you watch the video you'll see what I mean. I'm going to havecto be cognizant moving forward. Noticed a few chunks from leaves butvplants are still healthy. I'm surprised how well these girls withstood this storm. They are certainly resilient. The 2 purple punch 1 10th planet that I'm light depping are flowering nicely now. They missed all the commotion from the storm as they were inside. It's smelling good. I'm happy. 6/26 It's what a friend would say is "maineing") out. That mistcthe plants love. I'm surprised the plants are doing as good as they have been considering the wind. Will be adding nutes soon. Need to add extra supports too. Light dep 6/27 Brief periods or torrential downpours. Light depped 3 gallon 0lants are under an overhanfcwhete the hatsxrain can't hurt them but they still get sun. They are really starting to flower now! I'm going to begin feeding with a base nute and a flower nute I think. I'm thinking about giving the light dep some open sesame or something similar. I need to set up a nute program soon but the plants ALL look so healthy! And it's been raining! I've only watered like once or twice since they've been in the big pots. I've seen zero pests aside from a chunk missing from a grasshopper. Usually by now I'd have battled half a dozen things and be battling another half dozen. However I was posing from clones. These are seeds and boy don't I see the difference!

These are clones that I managed to take from my summer garden that became a disaster due to a heat wave that we had breaking 100 year records. I expect everything to be 48” in height at maturity.

After some research I decided to go for Advanced Nutrients for all amendments. Starting slow and building towards flower, then adding some Bud Candy. These plants really took off lol, shit got out of hand and I let them run a little, I'm definitely a habitual defoliator, I cant stop clipping when I really should just let them be, anyway I moved the tent out of the Closet space as its a friendlier time of year so they don't need the extra protection, kinda why I let them go, Season 1 needed to be smaller in height as they would have suffered outside the tent. Still topped and administered some LST, tried some clips out, but they were far too small and ended up snapping a stem. Would like to give them a go again but will research a bit more next time and not just go for Amazon crap. So far in terms of holding things down I really like the early pegs in the soil approach. I also tried some trellis netting this time, definitely like it and will be more prepared next time. Had to bail for an Easter break so a buddy came through and watered in nuets for me. SKOG was noticeably more Sativa-esque, thinner, stretchier. Runtz with the fatter leaves.

The main Stem snaped on the QO whilst doing some LST but it seems to be healing quite well after I attached it back with some tape. I can already see pistils shooting out on both of the plants especially on the Quick One.

Good News everyone ! after a week in 12/12 cycle they still feel happy ( no more yellow leafs ! ) They are thirsty AF ( i added 16L this week ) and it's only the beginning :x ... Stretch phase has begun, i saw them growing visibly day after day, i made a small timelapse for you, tell me which one you prefer. pH i pretty stable now, EC is between 1.8 and 1.9 and don't fluctuate so everything is ok. the only thing that worries me is roots progression 😁 i can see some roots approaching the water pump in front of the tank 😂 ==> i'm gonna cut you if you go too close from the pump ^^'

Grow room has a strong pungent smell, starting to flush 1/6 of the plants. They all have started to fill up, got lots of nice fat colas considering they auto flowers. Been defoliating a bit hear and there, where need be Happy to see i am on track for a descent size harvest. Would probably say I’ll harvest all in the next 2-3 weeks

Flower development definitely set back right from the beginning with extreme light intensity reaching 1650 ppfd before corrected. Never fully took off I don’t think. Midway through week 7 started to slowly dial back the intensity from 900 at tops to 650 ppfd. This is a 9.5-10 week strain. Using fish shit to keep things ramped up, also Bokashi Bran and worm casting. Also mixing in Gaia seaweed extract 0-0-17 with the fish shit. Not a whole lot more needed that the soil and top dressings doesn’t already have, if anything at all. I just like to give it that extra kick. I had completely wiped out those pesky fungus gnats and future offspring before flower, but they came back after top dressing and adding more soil. They come in the bag soil, and while I was on holidays for 10 days they came back and I wasn’t on top of the new wave of those dirty bastards. Just about got them cleared out again with the use of nematodes and sticky traps.

Day 6 since the time change to 12/12 hrs Hey all together 😋. in the last six days since the changeover, it has already made a nice boost 👌. She looks beautiful and it is fun to watch her grow 😉. They r still stretchin they asses off.😁 2 maybe 3 more feedings wit grow nutes. Other then the mutant alaskan purp, everything looks good. They look loke they r still in the middle of strectching, so im guessin ill average a height of round 5'5"-6ft for the 30 inground.😁😁😁 the short ones r big around tho so im happy. Gave up trying to figure out the problem with my mutant ap. I cut it way down on nutes and didnt see a change. Will just treat it like the others til harvest n see what happens.

No complaints this week..leaves was starting to twist and show brown spots on Bruce banner and both cbd harlequin...did some research and came to conclusion its from Ph influctuation..especially being that I've been trying hard to get ph in ideal range the past week and half..I believe I finally got a grasp on it..also I'm starting to realize..if the plants look healthy...no need to panic from a higher ph in runoff in coco coir..so I'll definitely keep that in mind in the future..also I was will be sending these ladies into flowering tonight..I couldn't hold off any more lol..im ready to get this grow out of the way, so I can start my next 1..which will most likely be the same strains..being that I still have a few feminized seeds left..only next time they will actually be germinated all on the same day..I'll keep you updated in my next upload..here comes the best part..Flowering stage😎
