Late Flower has begun, and even though she’s kinda behind on schedule (estimated flowering time of 9 weeks), she’s killing off her old fan leaves and utilizing the newer leaves. I can see she’s naturally starting to fade, so I think I got about a week left. There has been a little hiccup at some point, her light switch plug malfunctioned while I was out and she missed a whole day worth of light and looked sad and dry. After watering, she rebounded in just a couple hours and continued to produce her calyxes. I hope this will be a good yield because some of her branches are starting to tilt as her buds start to swell.

So this week I saw some decent bud development! There are a couple of colas with tips a little too close to the light, but they aren't getting super high PAR measurements so I think they're good. I added PK 13/14 this week, so I wanted to see some interesting changes. Not as much as I thought, but some flowers are noticeably much fatter than a few days ago. Had an issue with the top layer of my coco getting dry which I realised to be from the 15L dehumidifier I had in there, right next to my pot 😳 So that's now on full power in the room outside of the tent. The heat can be a bit of an issue, reaching 27-28c briefly some days. There's been a couple of fluctuations in the humidity, from 55% RH to 70%, so I've straightened the ducting and tried to perfect my ventilation and environment as much as possible. I'm debating buying a co2 bag to help my plant deal with the heat and intense light. The trichomes are really starting to show, with the 60x magnifier I can see so many cool heads. It just seems that my buds aren't really filling out beneath the pistils, causing me to worry. This week there were so many photos that even after picking out my favourites I ended up with 111 of them! Also, it's worth noting that the nutrient amounts I have listed are in *ml/1.5l. Finally moved into their forever home and final pots all seems generally good,it's abit tricky with multiple strains as they all react differently so trying to balance and learn what each strain likes is abit harder,net is in place and already using it to spread the canopy out for more top nodes and coverage

28th October: end of stretch. Defoliation

I planted 3 seeds to germinate, but only one sprouted. Sad. After it emerged in the coco, the first watering was done with aloe vera juice. The next day, it was irrigated with Azospirillum, a bacteria that promotes plant growth, fixing N. The third watering was done with an aerated tea consisting of mycorrhizae, molasses, and worm castings. The fourth watering was done with fertilizer, with a ppm of 700. I used Plant Prod and Calcium Nitrate. For the fifth watering, I repeated the tea, and finally, another watering with fertilizer, with a slightly lower ppm (541). All waterings maintained a pH between 5.5-5.8.

Harvested 3 plants of Strawberry Cheesecake and 2 of Amnesia. This is the last one from 1st grow. I planted it 2weeks later as the original plant didn’t survive. Avoided some basic mistakes and the buds on this one are huge. All plant is covered in crazy amount of sugarlefs. Now in flush...some time next week chopping it down and moving on to next grow.

Growth really exploded, transplant to 3 gallon fabric pots.

This plant is producing flowers very fast. A week before you could barely see pistols, now you can see them clearly stacking in every branch. She trippeled her size in just 2 weeks. Overall she is not a thirsty plant and accepts the substrate really well. I did not use fertilizer , only some silicate, but no NPK fertilizer . But still, her leaves are in a healthy dark green colour, even though only a light-mix has been used. Maybe I will add some small amounts of P and K mono, but I don't think it's necessary. So far no purple to be seen, I hope it changed in the further bud-development.

Día 36. Al final me pude desahcer de la plaga de mosquitas. Usé Phitonat plus foliar y puse BTI en el depósito. Fue casi instantáneo con ambas cosas. Las plantas estan empezando a engordar bastante. Se las vé muy bien. Las de variedad Polaris están haciendo cogollos densos y grandes. Mientras que las Tropicana estan con flores pequeñas más distribuidas en la rama. Creo que la Polaris va a dar la sorpresa. La semana pasada decidí no usar EMRO y cuando cambié el depósito, había bastantes restos de raices que van cayendo. Así que volví a poner, pars convertir esas raices en azucar para las plantas. Cada cez falta menos y tengo incertidumbre sobre lo que va a pasar. La Polaris tiene una floración levemente más corta en teoría. Así que es probable que las Tropicana se coman 2 semanas de lavado de raíces cuando toque.

Beginning of week 8 and seems like a long way to go. Most of the hairs still white. Hopefully the buds will fill in more! As right now I’m planning to take it 10+ weeks. This week I will lower the CO2 slowly 50 PPM every day until I will reach 800PPM. Also I will lower the light intensity by 2% every day. This week I lowered the day temp to 79 degrees and next week I’m playing to lower it every further to 76 degrees Fahrenheit. Water temp is at 68 degrees and probably from week 9 I will lower it to 66. Beginning of week 8 TDS is at 550PPM. I sent adding the Late bloom enhancer from Current Culture! End of week 8 : lowered the TDS to 470ppm , she seems that it not eating so much nutrients anymore. She still drinking 3 gallons of water every single day.

The Apes are flowering, and the difference between the plants is enormous. The one in the middle is the only one that truly took off, and I wouldn’t be surprised if it ends up producing as much as the rest of them combined. Putting them directly into the ground probably wasn’t the mistake. The real problem was that I only planted them with the six litres of soil from their original pots. I should have brought plenty of additional soil to give the roots a much better environment to expand into. I’ve since added guano as a top dressing and continue watering with plenty of molasses, but at this stage, the smaller plants are not going to catch up.

Growing fast! Hopefully 🤞🏼 I timed it right. The plan is to switch them to the 5x3 with a stronger light for flowering. Really want to get these girls under a stronger light!

Harvest was

Was a difficult plant to maintain. Keeping her from getting rot was no easy task but she pult through and I got some really tasty bud, pungent, sweet and earthy. Some berrie taste. Really nice.
