So far I have performed another round of topping and very lite defoliation. (Can i get more aggressive anything under the main canopy? Watered them in with dechlorinated 6.8pH tap water. I think I may have to think about when to start top dressing them. Maybe 2 more weeks? Lol Also noted that I they are starting to suck up allot of water! May have to start wetting out the whole pot now and see how they respond. So far its a garentee to water them ever 3-4 days. Now getting much closer to 3. Been on 12/12 for a week and I am seeing a little stretch and signs of preflower. I moved her to the back row corner to pair up similar sized plants for even lighting. Spread her branches out a little in hopes that a few more of the lower branches will fight their way to the top. I am excited about all of the girls but I have especially high hopes for this widow. Haze 1 presented as male and was promptly culled from the room, leaving Haze 2 as a confirmed female. With the open space, Skunk #1 has been moved in alongside her. It's a solid lineup to have two foundational genetic legends growing side-by-side. The Haze stretch is also living up to its reputation. The vertical growth has been aggressive, with the plants more than doubling in size, jumping from 16 inches to 34 inches. Additionally, I've observed that both the Haze 2 and Skunk 2 plants are consistently going into shock for a full day after watering. I am certain this is due to the water temperature being too low. Moving forward, I will be upping the water temp from 64°F to 72°F to eliminate the stress response.

Surf Purp Week 6 Flower The last week before flush. All nutrients apart from PK and sugars have been stopped. This brought the ppm/EC down, plus Remo Bloom was reduced slightly now they're not so hungry. With that being said I'm still using a lot more with this line than I'm used to. Only because the remo nutrients feeding chart lists them so strong, which I'm already a lot lower than. In future I'll try reducing them and see how they cope and perform, but that's just part of dialing it in to your own specific set up. Now that they're close to flush they're starting to get slightly more pale, with #2 and #4 showing some purpling too. This is because they are slowly coming to the end of their cycle, so they no longer need heavy feedings and are now eating less and beginning to cannibilise. They're all very frosty and giving off an insane amount of smell. At this point I'm more or less certain that #4 is a keeper, with the most unique terpene profile out of the 4 females. It smells like rotting candy/fruit with a lot of gas ⛽ it's also a close call between #1&2, as they're very similar to each other yet so different to #4. These two have the sweetest, most pungent smell of blueberries but with very slight differences between them that could change more throughout flush (and even after drying and curing). The keeper from these two will more than likely be decided after drying and curing. One or two of the main cola's on #4 are way too close to the light, with one top bud showing clear signs of burning. When you look closely, parts of the burns are brown as you would expect, and others are bleached white. These are both from heat and light damage, and aren't ideal. But, it's only the one bud on one plant so I'm not going to stress over it. In fact, she's smelling that incredible that you wouldn't even know! Thanks for following and happy growing! 🦊

Woche 6 startet wie gewohnt ohne Probleme. Die Buds werden dicker und schwerer. RLF pendelt aktuell zwischen 45-52%, Temperaturen schwanken etwas mehr von 18-26°C. Noch halten die Buds sich von alleine aber ich denke zum Ende der Woche könnten sie Stützen gebrauchen. Der Geruch im Zelt ist extrem. Sie stinkt so stark, das ich das Zelt nicht lange offen lassen kann.😎 Die Masse der Blüten ist auch ziemlich gut. Wird bestimmt heftig.

Very few white pistols left. I have started checking tricomes now for peak harvest time (hopefully) lol. 11/9/22 Added tricome pics and video to this week. Starting to turn milky, which is what I want, so I'll be keeping an eye on her.

Into week 10, well past the estimated 6 - 8 weeks to harvest time from the online stats, looks like i have a few more weeks to go until they are ready. There has been some expected leaf drop from the lower canopy, the signs of it autumning off are appearing, but all is going well and the buds are developing nicely so far. I started a timelapse a couple of weeks ago in the tent and i've left it to run untill the end of the grow, will be interesting to see how it turns out, i'll upload that on the harvest page. 20/11 Had a slight misshap as i was inspecting the plants and bent a stem over 😱 I utilized two matchsticks and some masking tape to splint it up again, the repair is holding nicely 😬 I've documented the repair and uploaded the video for posterity. 23/11 Fed 2 plants 1/4 tsp molasses 1ltr filtered water @6pH, ec200 with just molasses, just to see if there is any positive effect. Trichomes are just starting to appear. Defoliated the lower canopy, cutting all the smaller buds not getting any light and upper fan leaves to allow more light and energy to hit the main buds.
