This week it started to grow nicely, lots of blooming areas) the amount of irrigation also increases at the same time. Come on grow up girl!🤙

Just dropped them in water, after 12 hours I touch them to make them sink for the next 12 hours, then I put them in damp paper towel til germination.

I think I'm off to a good start. This is the roughest part of a grow for me so far. One thing that I learned from my past killings was to not get obsessive and that's the approach. I've got a way better understanding of feeding now. I was confused about feeding charts, thinking that it was mix and feed. Even though I checked the PH and PPM (incorrectly a few times) I'd consistently fry my plants to near death, bring them back with plain, proper ph'd water and then re-fry the next feeding. It hadn't dawned on me that the nutrient mix while being in the optimal PH range, mixed in right order and correct measurements, my PPM/EC was way too high for the stage of the plant. Yikes, I was feeding a toddler 3 double Whoppers with extra everything. And XL fries. You burn and learn I guess. The little girl was starting to look hungry so I took a shot and fed light nutrients with some hydrogen peroxide (will update the chart soon getting sleepy). I also punched a lot more holes in the bottom of the solo cup. Few hours later her leaves perked up like she was giving me a high five. Leaves are looking good too with a PPM of about 211. It's going to be a warmer weekend so I figure I'll crack another seed and put my 5 gallon pot to use. Possibly a photoperiod?

The day has come to harvest one of my ladies. The purple punch!!!! Full details once dried & cured.......... Just the Kosher Cake & Bruce Banner left now. Filling out more every day, Harvest time for these two Isn't far away now!!!

Looks like they've recovered from nutrient burn once I backed off the nutes. I also checked the PH after mixing the 3 parts and the Micro doesn't seem to be bringing the PH down enough, it only goes to 7.3. I use Nectar for the Gods PH down to bring it around 6.5. Some of the leaves look a little light in color and slightly burned at the tips, I think they might be light stressed even though Ive get my lights spaced a safe 24" away. I LST where I can this week. The plants are so short that its difficult to do effectively.

Still trying to get them back to where they were 2 weeks ago. Did a flush to raise ph as it was sitting really, only feeding water at the moment. One girl is definitely not doing well. But the others seem to be trying to turn around.

Quick Summary: moved and transplanted around day 18 into 5 gal. airpots with fresh ocean forrest, flowering began around day 24, thought I maybe had some nutrient burn, more likely cause is phosphorous and/or cal/mag deficiencies, three plants in the home stretch, O has a bit longer Day 50 Update: Watered and took some pictures last night. Not much new. Pretty sure they have massive deficiencies instead of any burn. I may chronically underwater/underfeed my plants. I'm still learning. This is my fourth grow ever so there's still lots to learn. Day 51 Update: Meant to water today but didn't. Day 52 Update: I spent a while with each plant and took some pictures/video when plant O was out of the tent. You can see some pretty clear brown spots on a fair bit of the shorter two plants. S is all kinds of ugly, but who knows, maybe still put out a decent weight. I fed twice in a row now and added some CaliMagic (forget the company name) this time. I read about how when there are stronger lights or MORE lights, the plants can burn through phosphorous rapidly, so maybe that's the issue I had. Either way, about day 40 seems like when the nutrients can be more steadily increased. The shorter two, V and P, have about 2ish weeks so that will likely be their last feeding. S too probably. O, on the other hand, has several weeks left but is looking otherwise really solid. Hopefully I got enough nutrients in early enough in that plant's flowering that it won't show any deficiencies. It's a monster too! 38 inches to the top of the spire. The other three are 25, 21, and 19 inches still so likely their final heights. I kept the tallest as the plant height for the diary because the top end is good to know for other indoor growers. Day 53 Update: No news. Day 54 Update: No news. Day 55 Update: S, V, and P are the three shorter plants. They are all starting to take water a bit slower. They didn’t *need* water tonight, so I’ll give them another day. O, on the other hand, is a monster! Probably needed water yesterday. Filtered tap, about 2 gal for O tonight. Food next time for O also. Others are in the wind-down so we’ll see. The time has come, here we are into the first couple of days of flowering, slightly upset because I can’t look at them during the day and their light cycle runs at night but I have to get used to, I used to spend hours staring at them. My Gf told me to get for a second into the feeling of the plants and imagine this human look at me for hours 🤣🤣 I have to admit that would be slightly creepy and they don’t know yet that I’ll chop them down and smoke ☠️ Enjoy fellow growers ☮️✌️🏼😎

Week 6 is going good, all are in flower and looking ok. Purple Punch flowers look a little small but hoping to see them swell as she looks to be done stretching. Starting to see some frost forming on Zkittlez and OG Kush. Pink Kush has some beautiful, almost black color. Lights are 18/6. No nutes. PH 6.5 water.

This week isn’t much to update. Tied down some branches. Lowered my lamp for maximum efficiency vegetative growth. Got a 4x4 tent ordered so that I can flower in my current tent, and setup the 4x4 for veg growth next cycle and so on. The sun system 1850 will get put into my current tent 5x5 when it’s ready to flip this tent to flower. Got another ac infinity fan for the new veg tent. So things are all coming together. It’s been a lot of time, effort, and money, but it’s so rewarding to see all the pieces come together so I can grow some amazing medicine here at home. I run 150 light commercial grow myself, and its so nice to just have a change of pace at home to come work on and give each of my home plants the individual attention they deserve.
