Temperatures were quite high this week, 29-30 with the lights on, 27-28 with lights off. Humidity was good, around 46-53%. Otherwise, everything is going smoothly. DAY 139 -Molasses PH - 5.91 PPM-765 Solution Temp - 20 Watering Volume - 4L DAY 142 - Nutes PH - 5.83 PPM- 2350 Solution Temp - 19 Watering Volume - 4L

Both are looking good, very big and colorful! They are both suffering from a slight nute burn so I’ll be cutting down on nutes from here on. Defoliating a bit here and there but cruising along for the rest 🔥

Ok so I put a significant amount of time into this grow. Learned a ton (everything lol) as it was my first. After the final week, I decided to harvest when the trichs were milky and clear. Few amber here and there but time constraints meant I had to chop a bit earlier than I’d have preferred. I do prefer a more uplifting cerebral effect yet realize with an indica leaning strain, having all cloudy and maybe 25% amber would have been 👌🏼. My drying process began by chopping a plant at a time, I washed the buds to get the PM or traces off (also grime from outdoor city air). I used a big bucket and did hydrogen peroxide. In heindsight I would have used baking soda as well and did a two step wash. After washing them, I hung to dry with a fan until they stopped dripping then into the tent they went for drying at roughly 68 degrees and 55% humidity. I staggered the harvest and wet trimmed about 70% of the time with the latter 30% dry trimmed. This was done for convenience and to try both ways. I dried everything for about 12-13 days until the smallest stems snapped and the larger ones were borderline cracking. I started jarring everything with humidity meters, about a half oz per smaller widemiuth jam jar. The smell was never hay-like but did vary in strength and scent from plant to plant. Almost no seeds which was pretty great to see. One of the outdoor plants had quite a few seeds so I kept that separate. It ironically had the stinkiest floral smell. So what’s the total!! After curing in jars for about a month, I weighted everything and came out with 10.5oz of cured trimmed flower and about 2 oz of sugar leaf trim which I am making canna butter with and cooking. Made some reduculously strong cookies: 11 cookies from about 10 grams of trim. Ate two and was medicated for about 24hrs 😂. Some of the buds were super dense and cured down to 58 RH easily. There were a few of the large big buds that had mass but less density and fewer trichomes. These were more red-hair visually than the others. The smoke: surprisingly smooth. The effect is energizing and uplifting at first, with a nice sedative body feeling on the second half of things. Overall, I’m super happy with the result. Learned a TON and will be modifying my approach a bit next go-around this spring. Stay tuned!!!

Two phenotypes - one purple and one white/green. The purple was very difficult to train and resulted in a couple inadvertent breaks - luckily it was repairable. The other trained very well, very flexible and worked very good for SCROG. Both produced heavily and are beautiful. The purple tends to be much more fluffy, with very long pistil hairs - the longest of any grow I have done. The white was super dense, very crystally and sticky. It will be very interesting to see how they smoke. Also, the purple tended to do very well with some nute mistakes I made as well as fluctuating pH in my water feeding. The white did not do as well in this regard but was able to get to harvest fine. Wet bud weight is prior to trimming. The buds off of these plants were HUGE!!!! Plant #1: (Purple): Wet weight - 76.58oz prior to trim; 15 colas; Terps: White - 60%, Clear - 20%, Amber - 20% Plant #2: (White): Wet weight - 71.65oz prior to trim; 16 colas; Terps: White - 70%, Clear - 30%, After 3 days of drying, took them down to trim for my jars. After a few hours filled mostly quart jars 3/4 full but also tried an Infinity jar and a gallon mason jar to minimize the number of smaller jars. Dry weights into jars: Plant #1: 14.79 oz Plant #2: 11.76oz I did pull them after a day to dry rack them for 12 hours due to a little bit higher moisture content then I would have liked ( 70%rH). Re-jarred on 6/1/23 and now holding steady at around 60% rH. Cure Check In (Week 2): 6/10 - 6/12/23: rH ~ 63 - 66%. Daily air exposure & fanning. Very smelly. Looking good - another couple weeks and will be ready.

Hi everyone! Sorry for the late post I've had a lot of personal crap holding me back but I'm on the bounce back and trying to catch up with everything. Couple lessons learnt on this one. I'm going to run this strain again but a little differently based on experience from this grow, the plants were ready at week 8 barring flush so I reckon I can cut away two weeks of flower time and start my plain water flush at week 7 and chop at week 8 instead of 10 which will be great as I will be adding at least one but most likely two of those weeks to the veg time so my turnaround will be the same but my end yield should hopefully be much better. This grow is by far my best quality end product, hard nugs, caked in trichs, stinky as hell water and strong as a Russian circus freak. Yield however was not as expected from 2 meter squared using a 600w hps and 450w Ied I wanted 20-25 oz and I got 15 but I know where I went wrong as previously mentioned and I have set a challenge to do it again hitting 25oz, same strain, same system, same nutes, 1 extra plant, 1-2 weeks extra veg time and 1-2 weeks less flower time. We are at 27 days of flowering now and they are starting to change colors now. The gorilla is really turning yellow. I could of gave her a bit of nitrogen but this is just a practice run with my custom bred seeds so I'm letting it go. Alot of frost showing now. So got the net in place this week and started doing my ScrOG. Also did a bit of FIMing and some LST to help speed things up a bit. So far the weaving hasn't been as easy as I was told it be some ive been using some soft twist ties to help keep them in place. Going to veg and weave for another week or so before I switch it to flower. I was told you have to continue weaving for 2-3 weeks into flower but im worried that'll stress the plant out so if anyone that reads this knows other wise, comment below. Increased the feed from 1 liter to 2 liters because I wasn't getting any run off. Now I'm getting 10% run off every watering and I've been able to keep my run off ppm to less then 100 ppm above feed. So far I'm really like working with coco and don't see myself going back to soil unless it's outside plants. The environment has been fairly stable the last week with outside temperature droping. Had a spike in humidity yesterday because it got up to 75% humidity outside where I live. Luckly when that happened my tent only went up to roughly 67% but it's slowly dropped down and then stopped at 62%. There calling for another heat wave this week with it reaching up to almost 40c again for a couple days.... can not wait for summer to be over. I'm a ginger so I'm more of a autumn and spring kind of guy and plus this heat is making it difficult not only for this plant but also the ones I started seeding a few weeks back. Got so hot that they stopped growing for 3 days, 2 died and 3 got burned a bit. So far this 300w SE-3000 Spider-Farmer light is really rocking it. Great coverage, adjustable and detachable ballast have made this a easy grow even with the mad heat. Definitely going to look at the SE-5000 light that runs at 450w or the SE-7000 light that runs at 650w for my next light in the 4x4 tent. Next go around I'm going to try this light in a 2x2 tent I have that I use for germinating. Well that's all for now so happy growing everyone.

Well I said I was leaving her untrained but on day 56 I gently tied back a few branches to open up the canopy. This is looking like it's going to be my best grow yet.

Just got done with trimming the 4x4 @greenhouseseedco Super Silver Haze / @blimburnseeds Silver Surfer Haze tent. The final yield is exactly 1000g plus some (kind of a lot)that I smoke in the last 2 weeks 😃 Also got 6, gallon size ziploc bags filled with good quality trim for concentrate. To be honest I was expecting a little more but keeping in mind that this grow I did not supplemented with bottled CO2 I think I’m good with the results. Definitely I enjoyed a lot this grow and I’ve learned even more.

Northern Lights is very close to being finished. I had phosphorus excess in this grow before, and I think that's what's happened again. I think the excess of phosphorus has prevented the plant from being able to uptake Calcium, Magnesium and others. 8.5.25: The plant was watered with 2ltrs of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.2. I added per litre; ♡ 1/2 TSP Mega Crop Part A ♡ 1/4 TSP Sea K(elp) PPM: 890 PH: 6.2 I decided to feed each plant separately and mix it up in the 2l jug. I gave an additional 2l of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.4 with the following nutrients; ♡ 4ml Ecothrive Trace ♡ 1/4 TSP Ecothrive Biosys PPM: 636 PH: 6.4. ☆ Xpert Nutrients PH down, up to 1ml. ☆ Ecothrive Neutralise 1 drop per litre from the 1ml pipette, which is attached. This is my dechlorinator. She will be taken down once I'm satisfied with the ratio of trichomes. I'm leaving this one a bit longer than I usually would, just to see the difference in effects of a later harvest. I do need the space in the tent, so I'm hoping it won't take too much longer.
