This baby actually snuck up on me being the first of 4 plants on my patio to be ready for harvest using trichomes as my guide. It took me roughly 4 hours to take the entire plant down and wash it and get her ready for drying. A bit longer than I expected since there's a fair bit of space between the nodes and it was fairly easy to pluck fan leaves. Been very hot and dry lately... although we are expecting our first precipitation since spring on Monday so it's not a bad time to get some harvesting out of the way. It will be a few days before this stuff is dry enough to process further, but I plan to give the dry trimmer another go. After further processing we can add in some weights. September 19 > I'm surprised that it's taken this long for this baby to dry to this point - but it's been a weird week with two bouts of precipitation that we don't normally see. Slow is better - but I have a load of herb stacked up behind this. Fortunately... what we call indian summer conditions are about to prevail drying things out further. I'm surprised how tasty my initial tastes of this strain came in... normally I wouldn't even consider tasting something this young, but after initial tests I'm sure I'm a gonna like this stuff. I had to de-bud the C&C completely to make room for Northern Lights which needs to come down tomorrow... probably followed another half week by Amnesia #2, and then there is Purple Berry Kush bringing up the rear guard. Gonna be a busy next couple weeks. Started trimming on September 23 and finished the next day. Final bud weight comes in at 269 grams for one plant (9.5 ounces). The bud size is not tremendous but the yield was substantial and will keep me and my friends rolling in CBD until next summer. I would have to say this stuff did not dry as fast as I'm used to for herb that I've washed after harvest. Initial dry seems to be around 50%. Lower than I like but I was trying to dry the herb out for use with the Dry Trimmer... but I'd have to say the trimmer still isn't performing up to expectations. I used the maximum number of rotations/spins and really tried to beat the herb up but she won the fight. I still spent somewhere between 5-6 hours trimming by hand after that fight. I couldn't really wait any longer for the C&C to dry further because I have other trees coming in behind her and I need the space. The amount of shake/trim generated using the Trim Bag was about 65 grams - the amount from my hand trimming was 3x that easy. Off to wrestle with Northern Lights... Amnesia 7 comes down at dawn. Busy time of year... but what would you rather be doing...? ✊ 😬

Sie ist von den Konditionen des Klimas zwar nicht sonderlich Anspruchsvoll. Dafür legt Sie einen immensen Stretch hin und Mann muss sie ordentlich bändigen. Die Blütedauer liegt bei ca. 9 - 10 Wochen, was sich aber definitiv Lohnt. Dies war mein zweiter Anbau der Pink Sunset und es hat sich definitiv erneut gelohnt. Ihr Aroma ist zwar etwas eigenartig, dumpf und nicht richtig in eine Richtung zu beschreiben, dennoch sieht sie einfach wunderschön aus. Sie hat eine sehr gemischte Blütenstruktur: Die Buds sind richtig dick und kompakt, ziehen sich dann aber doch ein wenig in die länge und es ist ein leichtes Foxtailing erkennbar. Sie wirkt definitiv richtung Ende ihrer Wachstumsphase definitiv wie ein sehr dominanter Sativa Typ. Stay Tuned!💚

Week 6 since flipping to Flower 🌺

June 7: This plant is growing fast. Lots of foliage building up inside the centre of the manifold so I cleared that out a bit. Adding more bamboo cross pieces to further open it up. Check out coyowolves howling at dusk in video. June 10: four inches of vertical growth in three days. 👍

Got a TDS meter at the end of this week. This lady is also in full on flower!!! I just love seeing the pistols, I am also catching a small bit of smell during a small period when the lights come on! She is starting to spread out and even out well. I dont think she is to great for LST, or at least she should be started a bit towards the end middle of week 3 or the end even. She grows short and bushy.

DAY 53 Had to take out of the room the Amnesia XXL hermaphrodite; cant take the risk of turning the rest into males too. DAY 54 FUUUCKKK!! The wind dropped a piece of heavy wood onto the plants!!! 1 of the Moby Dick was totally broken. Some branches of the neighbour plants were affected too. So that's 2 plants lost at the moment (the hermaphrodite and the broken one). Day 56 Two days after the tragedy. Had to reorganize the room to prevent similar accidents in the future 🖤😢 Saved the most I could but definately this stressing event will influence the plant’s development. Also, considering taking out the claw leaved plant, which has signs of hermaphroditism (FML again 😫). Hope these 7 make it till the end. PS: Also, there’s 1 Moby Dick which has no signs of flowering at day 56, cant figure out what’s happening with it. I’m starting to think that it’s an Regular Feminized seed instead of an autoflowering.

Great news they all have names! Please welcome Samantha, Ana, Nerea, Lucia and Ella to the group! So it has been a week of playing around with free-standing water, heating, and airflow and now it seems we have finally found the sweet spot with a humidifier up high. It seems like I don't even need the extraction fan at the moment as there is a reasonable amount of pull coming out of the hole at the top, so much so that the door is actually being sucked in. Just trying to find the right height for the light. After a bit of research, I have decided on 80cm which I will lower bit by bit each day heading towards 50cm. Any comments would be greatly appreciated. 🙏💪 Also in my search, I found that according to Jorge Cervantes 24 hour light is a waste of electricity for the extra growth you get so I have reduced the schedule to 18-6.

Hey guys :-) . Today the plant was sprayed again with neem oil. There weren't any more trips to be seen after the second application, but to be on the safe side, you did it again today get a cure. That's why the beautiful dark shimmer on the leaves :-). The ladies are developing well and have 1 week before I change the time to flowering. Normally I would let it get bigger and train because the tent only has 80x80 and 180 watts are available, so I will switch it over soon enough. This week it was poured twice with 0.8 l each time (for nutrients, see table above). Otherwise everything was cleaned and, as always, everything was checked. Good strain to grow if you want a pretty good yield and a great smoke. Got really good feedback from some friends about her so I will continue to have her in my grow room.

It is a fantastic plant, very strong in its growth, easy to cultivate, root system is not comparable to the others I have here...💪 It has an incredible fullness predominating over the others 😏 The productivity is really great being the heaviest I have harvested 😎 Now it's waiting to try it out 👌 Thanks to everyone who enjoyed this girl... Hi Growmies, So far it all goes to plan. Not much to do on soil I gotta admit. Right now they are receiving RO ph balanced water with some CalMag, rhizotonic and orca. The solution is applied with a spray bottle every time the top layer appears dry. #1 is a bit behind, as she struggled to get out of the seed shell.
