Oh so this is my first entry on GrowDiaries. This Red Dragon started from seed I believe sometime early April. It's been in a 2 gallon pot for a good month and now is ready to be transplanted in a 15 gallon cloth pot. I'm probably gonna do that today, with some fiming. I have a mix ready, made of 1/5 dirt,1/5 chicken manure, 2/5 peat moss, 2/5 perlite, and roughly a tablespoon of lime and sulfur, as well as bone meal and stove ashes. I'm a newbie experimenting so feel free to tell me if I'm doing it all wrong :D

Day 50. Girls still on water diet, one more watering, or maybe even two more left. In video tried to highlight, most N hit plants, others are more than fine, thinking to throw out all who still in veg or didn't made through canopy, its still jungle at mines ... Nothing special, supercroped plant recovered well, think i have two new objects for HST ;)))) they fly, but stretch patern that they got from to high lights is repeated even when they reached optimal height, mistakes are bad and have long lasting consequences... One third of flower is done i guess, only couple plants will be bigger than an ounce, but i think i have like 40 of them ;))))))) Next time i count ! Day 54. Girls are very dry, some leaves still curled now from that, not only excess of Nitrogen... My night shifts don't leave me time, whenever i am back - they sleep... 12 hours shift, bike, train ... no time left at all, but .. Today they got still water , but i added 2ml of silica acid to it, ph after all - 6.6. Thinking to defoliate them sooner or later, maybe even today ... Next watering full feed or maybe not, if i rip all that leaves away, still valuating plants, would do it last week, but had no time ...

The first week of flower just passed and already some small tiny pistils are visible, in general this plant doesn't stretch exaggerated so its a perfect strain for me to put like 10 of these in one of my grow rooms, im happy to try this strain as I've heard quite some good things about this strain. Lets see how it goes the next couple of weeks 😜

So we are now in week 5 of veg !!! 4 weeks left until I flip the lights ! Everything is going well they have grown exponentially in 1 week !! <3 <3 I can deff tell the structure will be much different then the Obi's . They've seem to have adapted well to their new homes and are loving every minute of it! Gonna be topping these young ladies in the very near future ! 9/16 Day 8: transplanted 3 of them into 1 gallon plastic pots. they werent very rooted but the roots they did have were healthy and thick. will transplant the others as soon as i can. Up potted about half of the tent. i need to set up another tent 9/18 day 10 transplanted the last 2 plants into 1 gallon pots. im reusing soil with them and i dont normally do that. hoping that there arent any random issues to pop up. 9/19 finally numbered the plant's. #1 is the one that's looking more sativa leaning. she has longer petioles or fan leaf stems. Longer, thinner leaves and has stood out from the rest from the very beginning. im going to use the terms indica/ sativa and hybrid as generalized terms. on the other end #5 is super short and tightly spaced nodes. has a more even indica style look to her. #'s 2-4 i have noted as being "hybrid" as in they look to be a mix of both and not on one end or the other such as #1 and #5 are. also onr of the hybrid ones has super thick indica maple leaf style leaves that stands out as well. these are more so for my notes and i understand that these are all technically hybrids 60/40 sativa/indica i believe.

Will update smoke report once buds have cured and fermented long enough to where I say they are ready for a legit test. So far I can tell you that this is the most pineapple, tangerine smelling cultivar I have ever come across. I've always heard of the pineapple weed but this is identical to the tropical fruit. This crop also is the fastest flowering crop I have grown in sometime. Harvest in 50 days from flipping into flower. Had some stretching going on with some golf ball / Coney type flowers covered in resin. I am looking forward to smoking on these tropical / citrus flowers.

Zkittlez is looking like she's on a hurry, already shooting some brown hairs and only passed 28 days since the flip.

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. Plant is recovering well from defoliation. No pistles yet but looks like beginning of flowers forming. Going to call this first week of flowers. Plant doesn't seem to be getting any taller this is a genetic issue I think. Going to a different breeder next run. I think they are white label genetics which can be hit or miss.

Thinking about harvesting one of the purple lemonades, have been flushing it for 4 days, 3 more flushes and will harvest it. It does not produce any more biomass and new white stems

Day 29: LST is done. I set the lamp approx 36 cm away. BlackBerry Kush, LSD-25 started flowering. All of them are OK started growing rapidly. 600W LED, 20 hours on 4 hours off the same with ventilation. Water intake: 75 ml per plant plus triggering, humidity around 60 percent. Fertilization is on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday with BioBizz family, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday bat guano and Epsom salt. Day 30: I did LST again. I didn't have enough elastic band yesterday so I bought today and bent them better. I also set the lamp closer approx 34 cm. Day 31: I did LST yesterday and bent them. They already "lifted up" their heads toward the lamp. As they grow I will keep bending the main stalk and the side ones. I will try to create a spiral form and spread the plants with time. Day 32: Most of them started flowering except Colorado Cookies. BlackBerry Kush aggressively started floweing. This plant is very strong and aggressive. Day 35: pre flowers nicely coming along.... Balckbeery Kush and LSD-25 are the quickest. I changed the lamp as it is now really good.... so I placed an other 600W lamp there. I will swap these lamps one week here other week there. I will change that lamp after harvest. End of the week the tallest is BlackBerry Kush with approx 25 cm (I bent them so can't give perfect measurement) and the shortest plant is approx 18 cm.

Esta semana fue solamente de flush 🚿 en esta ocasión decidí usar florakleen para ver con cual obtengo mejor resultado si con este o con flawless finish, lo hice así, primero hice un lavado con pura agua con ph de 6.2 lo hice desde el ultimo día de la semana anterior, fue lavado doble, uno en cuanto se encendio la luz y otro justo antes de apagarse, luego empezando esta semana regué dos dias usando el florakleen y ph de 6.2, el tercer día no regué y al final de ese día le di corte ✂️ y la colgué, actualmente ya la tengo curando, la tuve 10 días secándose con una humedad de entre 50 y 60% para un secado lento.

16/04/2021 Llego el momento de iniciar temprano un nuevo cultivo de suelo vivo. Para ello comenzamos armando el sustrato (200L) para posteriormente dejarlo pre mezclado y con su vida correspondiente para recibir a estos 4/5/6 esquejes que van a ingresar. Se instalo el sistema de riego sensible de Blumat Tropf con sus dos zanahorias y 5 puntos de goteo por cada una, con apenas dos Dias ya observamos como se germinaron esas lentejas que van a producir ese cover crop y alojar a todos esos hongos benéficos de sus raíces hasta esperar que lleguen las plantas. 21/04/2021 Las lentejas ya germinaron de manera correcta, se colocó el mulch orgánico y el sustrato continua con una muy buena humedad por lo que se estima que la vida debajo se está poniendo interesante. 27/04/2021 Hoy sigue a la espera de una nueva luz Quantum Board 240w para este espacio, de todas maneras se colocaron las plantas en el espacio de cultivo para ver cómo queda la dispocion!
