This was the last week of the 18/6 cycle. The Pineapples have reached the scrog screen which I installed at the beginning of the week. 4 Pineapple Chunks growing 35 days(+ 4 days to germinate) seemed to be enough for this space. They've grown into beautifull indica's with large fanleaves and sturdy branches yet easy to scrog. Once this week I gave them tapwater with Plagron nutrients (ec 1.58 – ph 6.1). The rest of the week was ph adjusted tapwater (ec 0.45 – ph 6.1) when they needed it. I sprayed them once with a CannaCure solution (15 ml CannaCure + 100 ml tapwater, ph 6) The week started with the cobs at the same wattage and height as last week (168 watt and 47 cm – 18.5 inch) DLI 34.4 – PPFD 531 On day 32 it got a bit brighter with 188 watt and a distance of 43 cm (17 inch) from the plants. DLI 40 – PPFD 617 and stayed like this for the rest of the week. The heating mat is turned of because temperatures are high enough. The humidifier has also left the room because humidity levels must be lowered in the flowering cycle. But that will be more important within a few weeks. Let’s dive into all the details and talk about the key elements shaping this transition. 48 Hours Dark Period & Transition to Flower Before flipping to flower, we implemented a 48-hour dark period. In my experience, this technique helps the plants transition more smoothly and accelerates their hormonal shift into flowering. It’s a method that has consistently worked well for me, and I encourage growers to explore different approaches to find what best suits their setup. The Power of Reds - Far Red & Deep Red As part of this transition, we have introduced far red and deep red lighting. These are turned on 15 minutes before the main whites and stay on for 15 minutes after. The reason? This simulates the natural sunrise and sunset effect, which helps optimize the flowering response and enhances overall plant development. The red spectrum plays a crucial role in promoting stretch and enhancing bud formation early on. Light Schedule - 11/13 Cycle From the start of flower, we are running an 11 hours light / 13 hours dark schedule. Over the years, I’ve found this lighting strategy beneficial in inducing faster flower onset, increasing terpene production, and ultimately producing better-quality fruits. This is something I personally swear by, but as always, I encourage others to experiment and see what works best for their unique environments. Week 8 Day 51 Ladys starting to fat up the buds, a bit slowly this time but it's OK. Lemon Kix is a super smelly one, she stinks like lemon haze with bubblegum. Followed by Trainwreck and Orange Sherbet, really smelly Orange Sherbet disappointed till now, the buds looking really fluffy. I know she's got another 4 good weeks maybe more, but at the same time my last Orange Sherbet looked like a completely another strain. All lady's starting to get hungry, bottom leaves getting yellow and some just fall off. But the top should last to 2-3 weeks more. Cinderella Jack stopped to stretch ( she's huge) and now focused on the bud production. I think she gonna produce some fat big buds. 😁 Day 54 Orangesherbet that's what you get when you don't pay attention to your lady 😕 she got a really bad lockout The pH must be off, gonna see how she responds in the next weeks. That's why the buds are so airy. Gonna water her with 6.5 pH and add some Batguano after that. Purple Punch showing also signs of some Def. But it looks like a normal Nitrogen Def, thats not a big problem, gonna give her some Batguano too. Day 56 Hmm the buds from Lemon Kix didn't fat up till now, I hope they don't produce fluffy buds cause right now it looks like that. Compared to Blue Dream all lady's far behind with the Bud production Orange Sherbet smells amazing good but also she don't fat up. I know this will took another 3-4 more weeks. Purple Punch is very healthy she shows no signs of stress, but she's extremely hungry for potassium, like my last one. Trainwreck looking good but also still behind with the bud structure, when I compare them to my last run, they are really far away from 70 days (germinate to harvest) this gonna go minimum till week 12 😩.

Hello Diary. It completed the last week of flowering, a total of three weeks of vegetation and seven weeks of flowering. A total of 80 days since Purple Punch # 1 sprouted, while Purple Punch # 2 I had to put on germination again because it didn’t sprout at first. In the end it was 5 days late but as you can see, the harvest was the same day. The conclusion in the end is that Purple Punch exceeded my expectations, although they look totally different, the height and build of the stems are the same, the flowers are totally different. It is well seen in the photos. While it doesn’t have the purple color I might have expected given the name, the flowers are hard, full of trichomes and have a strong sweet scent. We’ll see after drying what we made. There were only two waterings this week, I wanted him to consume all the water to make the drying faster. The condition in the growbox is satisfactory, the temperature is around 25 degrees while the humidity is below 40%. Here’s what the last week looked like. 31/04/2021 - Day 64. Watering. I regulated p.H. at 6.3 and with 7 liters of water I evenly watered all three plants on the “farm”. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 25 degrees and 37% humidity. 03/04/2021 - Day 67. Watering. The procedure is the same as three days ago. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 25.3 degrees and 38% humidity. 07/04/2021 - Day 71. Harvest. After I did the photography, first one plant and then another, I cut the plants at the bottom of the stalk and hung them upside down in a growbox to dry. The temperature in the Box is about 25 degrees and the humidity is slightly lower than 40%. I turned off the lights and left only the ventilation on while I also turned off the fans. And now all three plants are hanging upside down, two Purple Punch and their roommate Watermelon. They are preceded by about two weeks of drying, maybe a little less, so I call with one last review. Had to cut some top buds due to getting crispy from the light - no bueno. The rest of the buds are all good. This is the end of the grow I don't have any more content unfortunately. I have plans for some amazing grows soon with living soil! :) Total harvest from this one was 1683g.

Transplanted from 0.25 to 1 gallon pot This is the first transplant of two. I will let these build.a root ball for 3 to 4 week and then do the final transplant into a 7 gallon pot. Installed blumats as well for irrigation. Crover crop added

Because I have iridium and copper in the water, the ph meter fluctuates due to breaking bonds between the hydrogen and oxygen. The fluctuation range I see is between 6.4 and 6.9 so I’m reporting 6.6 as the ph for the water. So far, I don’t see any negative effects of the iridium & copper on the plant. The soil base is Happy frog, Coast of Maine, Mushroom Compost and super soil. I’m giving only water to her for this grow. Aug 22 - Aug 28 Week 16 (Day 106-Day 112) The Low Down- Plants responded well to the Advanced Nutrients I watered with a couple of days ago. By 'responded well' I just mean that they didn't yellow or adversely react. I'm still watering 2 gallons per day per plant when I water, but I skipped a day since I don't want to get root rot. Twice before I have had the plants get waterlogged at the bottom of the pot (obviously right =-) ), and I didn't know then that it caused the leaves to yellow from the bottom up. I honestly thought I had nutrient burn. That said, I skipped a day on the watering. I applied kelp meal on day 111. I broke my rule and used Monterey B.T. on day 111. Honestly--I felt scared because I can't inspect the plants everyday so I went for the Monterey b.t. to combat the caterpillars. Not sure if I will apply again since we are in flowering. The Plants- The plants look great and smell great. Thank you EQuillibrium Genetics. Everyday they get a little more aromatic. The smell is somewhere between minty/lemony/orangey and some bomb ass weed. Will definitely hit. One day I could've sworn it smelled like that Gary Payton weed, basically kushy, citrusy, and a little sour diesely. On DAY 108 in the morning they smelled like orange fanta. Amendments- I applied kelp meal on DAY 111 (Aug 22). The quality has improved in my plants since I started more actively amending the soil a few years back. Before I just used to add that Alaska fish emulsion directly on the soil once a month. Now I use Kelp Meal from Down-to-Earth and the Bud Candy and Overdrive from Advanced Nutrients. I even used some cha-ching from Fox Farms at the end of last season. I don't start adding anything until at least a month or two into the grow because the soils I use already come amended. I also continue using the soil year after year. I take all the soil at the end of the year and place it on a tarp. Then I add perlite, bone meal, blood meal, kelp meal, molasses, coffee grinds, banana peels, egg shells, and mix it all up. I let that sit for a couple of weeks or longer and then start using it on my potted plants in the garden. If I have enough left over after 2 months I will fill up the fabric pots again and plant clover, thyme, and oregano during the off season.

8/31 Week 7 and the damned tent is full .... such problems err? 25 sq ft of green, did not expect this really was hoping the extra space would allow more plants but this is full on 5 Plants doing well just trying to make em all fit Nuets remain as is Defoliation to try and get they to fit in the tent a bit easier, removed fan leaves. 9/1 Upped PK to 2ml/g the cotton balls have begun 9/2 Stretch continues hit 28" 9/4 Major defoliation cleaned bottoms middle tops get the buds in light and help them fit in the tent better. Still hitting about 1 inch-ish a day nut seem to be slowing
