Week 8 Veg – Go Big or Go Home! 🌱💪 Hey, Grow Fam! 🌿 What an intense week it’s been in the grow room! This was one of those “go big or go home” moments, and I decided to take it to the extreme. I’m holding off on flipping to flower for just one more week because the plants are filling up the space beautifully—I can’t help but push things to their limits and see just how much these ladies can give! 😎✨ This week was all about maximizing growth and creating the best canopy I can. I did a light defoliation, just here and there to open things up a bit, and then came the bending—LOTS of bending. 🌱 I’m working hard to create an even canopy, though with all these different genetics, we’ll see how close I get! 🤞 Regardless, I’m giving it my all, and I’m super pumped to see how everything will respond in the next stage. The final touch this week? I ended it with a bold 36 hours of darkness to prepare for the big flip next week—flower mode, here we come! 🌸 What Went Down This Week: 1. Canopy Work – Bending and training all over the place to try and keep things even. It’s a real challenge with different genetics, but the payoff is going to be worth it! 2. Defoliation – Just a little bit of leaf removal here and there to help with airflow and light penetration, prepping them for that final veg stretch. 3. 36 Hours of Darkness – Closed out the week with a full day and a half of darkness. The 36 hours of darkness is a technique I like to use to help signal to the plants that it’s time to transition from veg to flower. 🌒 By giving them an extended dark period, I’m mimicking the natural shift from summer to fall, when daylight hours start to shorten. This kick-starts the plants’ flowering hormones (phytochrome), helping them shift into flower mode more smoothly and quickly. In my experience, this method helps speed up the flip, reduces early flowering stress, and often leads to a more uniform bloom across the canopy. It’s like giving the plants a little nudge to let them know, “Hey, it’s time to bloom!” 🌸 This technique is especially useful for growers like me who want to maximize the efficiency and performance of their plants. 😊 4. Day 56: I gave 1.5L of clear water to the royal gorilla auto. Day 59: I gave 1.5L of water to the glue gelato auto. I also checked the trichomes, on both plants they are translucents, I'll wait some of them to turn amber. It was predicted a grow of 65 to 70 days from germination to harvest and it did not lie. I might harvest next sunday (day 65) but I hope it can wait until the next tuesday so both plants would have at least 14 days of clear water. Day 60: I gave 1.5L of water to the royal gorilla auto.

wow! friends my tent 100cm x 100cm x 200cm is completely full! it is my first experience with photoperiod and I was not very prepared for it! They look great with a nice green color. I hope for the best and will continue to work hard! like and leave tips!

Every plant in garden day 56 Noticed yellowing mid week 7 don’t think it fade having some ph issues my run off is 7.2 after flush then watered again still up at 7 so hopefully going to water at like 6 6.1 from now till it goes down growth continues tho some buds getting big ☺️

🌱First Grow🌱 🗓️04/03/2022 Hye. So.. this week I see some more trichomes developing. The buds are looking more frosty. If I go real close I can smell a pine/lemon smell. I harvested the Marigold Bush. I wanted to preserve the flower instead of them rotting away. Found some interesting bugs.. check them out. I am using a bottle with water and wik to create some more humidity. Everything was great. In the beginning she looked a bild small but then she really packed on from top to bottom! The best yield and the lowest cost per gram I have gotten so far. We had great weather and she got a lot of direct sunshine. I think that helped a lot. The bag seed was removed in week 4/5. It was either a male or hermed. 🌱 Growing too nice! She kept on stretching like crazy, growing 3 cm every day. The small tent couldn't handle her anymore, so she got promoted to the 60x60x180 cm Tent. Buds are really visible now and only the tops are stretching even more to indicate the final colas. Day 43 💧 watered with 3,5L, pH 6 and 3ml/l CalMag, 1 ml/l grow, 0,7 ml/l micro and 0,4 ml/l bloom coming in at 1200 ppm. Day 45 💧 Thirsty again, so she got 4L with 2,5 ml/l CalMag, 0,7 ml/l grow, 1,5 ml/l micro and 1,2 ml/l of bloom resulting in 1200 ppm. I wanted to try lowering CalMag slowly because i wasn't sure if she still needed that much. Day 49 ❗I realized, that i was still feeding her growing nutrients because i forgot to switch to preflower ratios... Not a huge deal but still unfortunate. 💧 Watered with 3,5L, 0,6 ml/l grow, 0,9 ml/l micro, 0,8 ml/l bloom and 3 ml/l CalMag -- 1150 ppm

The beast plant is yellowing a bit. i think its either because it got to big or its getting heat stress. a little curious, but nothing to do but truck on and see how things go. all the other plants seem to be very happy and doing things the Mephisto way! Everything’s wonderful. But a lot of work to do @ the moment.. Today I had to realize once again how different a run can be. One Dark Devil has given up. So I had to harvest her. About 2 weeks early. This specimen had already resented the topping, I think. She didn't show much effort to become more branched and was already pre-flowering in week 2. I am looking forward to a few suggestions or opinions from you, dear garden friends. I'll put photos in a moment... Normally, I wouldn't top an automatic of the Red Family from Sweet Seeds from experience. Somehow they had problems more often, when I did. When they were fully grown, they were usually very productive and healthy. She simply had too weak nerves. But that's ok. My nerves are also pretty down. Due to the loss of my beloved Quimaria - I miss my sweet cat girl insanely. That's why I didn't want to interrupt this passage with the good old Secret Jardin to set up the Homebox. Too many beautiful memories stick to this tent, because my ladybug always sat at the edge of the bed, when I did my gardening. For me, this also means a kind of farewell. This plant also began to bloom after a very short time. But I'm happy about more space, because all the other comrades-in-arms like it very much and everything is progressing properly. She behaved as if she was already slightly over time. Little perspiration. And no changes were noticeable. Leaves with an autumnal touch. But a wonderful berry-like scent. Now I have hung up their flowers to dry.

This lady is huge. She has stretched like made going into flower. I really cleaned out a lot of growth so I don’t get a ton of popcorn nugs. She is drinking a lot, anywhere from 7-10 gallons every two days. 😎🍿🍻🌱
