This week was amazing! I gave green sensation for the first time, and the results are as good as I expected. The buds are incredible, the smell is amazing, everyone looks healthy so far! :) I hope everything will be alright, see you guys next week!

A friend of mine was at my house today, and as soon as he saw this plant, he spent half an hour saying, "I can't believe it's an autoflowering," and I explained, "Don't worry, buddy, it's Karen Kush Automatic, a monster from Zamnesia." He insisted for a bit, but then he caved when I showed him what can happen with Zamnesia seeds if you work hard and are open to using quality fertilizers and additives like those from Plagron. To me (and my friend who only grows dwarf plants, he basically told me when he grows autoflowering plants) these seem to greatly stimulate the plant's metabolism, resulting in more flowers. It's not a market legend, but it really is like their slogan #growlegendary. The main cola is magnificent, standing out at the top in the characteristic indica shape where the main cola grows much higher than the side colas, which therefore need to be carefully trimmed at the bottom to avoid producing fake flowers. We're a week behind the others, and I thank God and all the saints for having planted this seed. It's very tall, but so is the other one, showing great stability in the strain. It smells really pleasant! Techniques chosen - Here the plant grew straight, only with careful trimming at the bottom, just like mom did, and as usual with autoflowering strains, nature chose the best method. We are 100% organic and 1000% Plagron, as always. Welcome to week six! 🌱 Week five was a complete success – all parameters are perfectly aligned. I’ve increased the water conductivity to a solid 3000 and bumped the CO2 level up to 1200 🌿. Light intensity is now set at 1400 µmol in the center and 1000 at the edges, which will keep the plants strong in their generative state 🌞. I’ll maintain these levels until the end of the third week and then start slowly removing the large fan leaves to ensure the buds get plenty of light 💡✨. I’m also trying something new to activate the “Emerson effect” 🌄: I’m running the deep red lights for 5 minutes before sunset and for another 5 minutes after the day ends. This should give the plants a final boost in photosynthesis, helping to maximize their growth potential! Everything’s looking fantastic so far! The Black Cherry has rooted well across different experimental setups, and at the end of the grow, I’ll provide a full report on the best care techniques for both strains 🌺👌. Frosted Guava Pheno A continues to shine, and this week she's decided to add another little piece of personality to the story. She's foxtailing. 🦄🌿 And you know what? I don't mind it at all. Actually... I kind of like it. Because if there's one thing I've learned from growing different genetics together, it's that not every plant is going to write the same story. Some are uniform. Some are compact. Some build huge, dense flowers. Some stretch. Some do something completely unexpected. And sometimes... you get a little unicorn. 😂🦄💚 That's what I see when I look at this girl. She's beautiful. She's developing beautifully. She's carrying those incredibly deep greens. She's becoming increasingly frosty. She's moving deeper into maturity. And now she's adding some peculiar little floral growth to the equation. Honestly? Let's make this unicorn shine. 🌱 The 8×8 Adventure — Genetics Keep Talking For anyone discovering this diary for the first time, welcome to the 8×8 Adventure. The whole idea behind this project is simple: Put different genetics and phenotypes into the same general environment... and then watch what they decide to do. The plants share: 💡 The same lighting strategy 🌡️ The same environmental conditions 💧 The same general irrigation philosophy 🌱 The same nutritional program 🕛 The same 12/12-from-seed approach 🏠 The same growing room 👨‍🌾 The same grower And yet... they are all different. That's the part I love. Because when you remove as many variables as possible, the personalities of the plants become much easier to appreciate. And Frosted Guava Pheno A? She's definitely got personality. 🦄 Hello, Foxtailing So let's talk about the elephant in the room. Or perhaps... the unicorn. 😂 She's showing some foxtailing. And honestly, I'm perfectly happy to see it. Foxtailing isn't automatically something I consider a problem. Some genetics naturally produce those elongated, stacked floral structures. Environmental factors can also contribute in some situations, including excessive light intensity or heat. But looking at this plant, I'm not jumping to the conclusion that light stress is responsible. She's around 120 cm, so she's certainly not some enormous plant sitting directly against the lights. The overall plant looks healthy. The foliage looks strong. The flowers are developing. And she's simply showing a particular expression. So for now? I'm calling it what it is: Frosted Guava being Frosted Guava. And I kind of love it. 🍓 More Little "Fruits" for Me And yes... I'm going to say it. 😂 Those little foxtailing structures? To me, they're just more little "fruits" to enjoy later. I'm not bothered by them at all. If anything, they make the flowers look more interesting. More irregular. More individual. More peculiar. And I like peculiar. I like unique. I like plants that don't look like they came out of a factory. I like unicorns. 🦄🌿 Of course, foxtailing by itself doesn't guarantee more yield. But that's not really why I like it. I like the character it gives the flowers. And this girl has character. 🌿 Deep. Deep. Deep Green. Now... let's talk about that colour. Because wow. The lower leaves in particular are showing some deep, deep, deep, deep, deep green. 😂💚 I know. I'm repeating myself. But look at her. How am I supposed to describe that colour without repeating myself? She's GREEN. Beautifully, seriously, ridiculously green. And I love it. The foliage gives the plant an incredible visual depth, especially alongside the developing flowers. The contrast between the dark leaves and the increasingly frosty flower structures is absolutely beautiful. It's one of those plants where you can look at the photographs and immediately understand why I keep wanting to photograph her. She's got layers. She's got texture. She's got colour. She's got frost. And now... she's got little unicorn horns growing out of her flowers. 😂🦄 ❄️ The Frost Continues And underneath all that green? The frost continues to develop. The flowers are becoming increasingly mature in appearance, and the resin coverage is becoming more apparent as the plant moves further into the flowering cycle. This is where I really start enjoying the combination of photography and growing. At first glance: Beautiful flowering plant. Then you zoom in: Wait a minute... look at that. And then you zoom in again. More resin. More structure. More detail. More little floral formations. And suddenly you realize just how much is happening on a single flower. That's why I keep taking these photographs. The plant changes. The camera catches it. And week after week, we get another little piece of the story. 🌸 She's Moving Fast I also feel like Frosted Guava is moving quite quickly now. We're deep into flowering, and the flowers are clearly progressing toward a more advanced stage. The development is becoming more obvious. The structure is becoming more pronounced. The resin is increasing. And those little foxtailing formations are adding another layer to the flowers. She's not finished. There's still plenty of time left. But she's definitely heading somewhere. And I'm enjoying the journey. This is the part where you stop trying to predict every little thing and simply watch the plant mature. She's telling me where she's going. I'm just following along. 👑 Keeper Material? And here's another funny thought that crossed my mind this week. I'm not cloning these plants. I'm not keeping mother plants. I'm not building a keeper library from this run. That's not the purpose of this particular adventure. But... if I were looking for a keeper? I'd certainly be looking twice at this girl. 😂🦄🌿 Because she's got something. The colour. The structure. The flowers. The frost. And now this peculiar foxtailing expression. It's not necessarily about being the biggest plant. It's not about being the fastest. It's about having something that makes you stop and think: "That's interesting." And Frosted Guava has definitely achieved that. 🌿 No Need to Interfere The other thing I really appreciate about her right now is that she doesn't seem to be asking me for anything dramatic. She had her cleanup previously. She's got her space. She's got her nutrition. She's got her irrigation. She's got her light. And now? I'm letting her work. There's no reason to start changing things simply because she's doing something slightly unusual. If anything, this is exactly the moment when I want to observe rather than interfere. Because if the plant is healthy and developing well... why not let her show us what she's capable of? The foxtailing is part of her current expression. The deep green is part of her expression. Sometimes... it's simply what that particular plant likes to do. So rather than inventing an explanation, I'm watching. And right now? You can start with the same genetic name... and still end up with plants that express themselves completely differently. And sometimes one of them gives you something that makes you think: "If I were keeping clones, I'd probably want to keep an eye on you." In general, when you see that there are two good side branches, you can do topping, they will go into veg as much as possible and you will have a split plant, I have seen very nice results, especially in warm periods when the plant tends to vegetate a lot, in winter we could have a bit of dwarfism but with a lot of resin for sure. Week 5 19.01.2020 Day 36 plant is doing great and in a few days it’s going into the bloom box !! I did cut her down a bit and iam still training her with bending her down but she is still comming up very day !! She is literally exploding with new branches and I did some clearing in the middle to let some light in !! Nothing mayor tho
