Day 49 Flower Hey Growers. I did a flush last week to get my runoff closer to 1050. I’m not sure why this happens that I get tip burn doing FFW. Maybe I start ramping up flower nutes too much too quickly. I have tip burn on my Blue Dream too. I’ve gotta come up with a solution as it buggers everything up. Flushing and Dealing with tip burn instead of packing on size. This is a 10 wk strain so I’m not as concerned cuz there’s lots of time and I think I got ahead of it. The nugs are smaller, marble to golf ball sized but hard as a rock already. The smell is of over ripe lemon when it get that sweet and Hazey earthy woody characteristic. I’m going to feed 2 more weeks and try the Advanced Nutrient Overdrive that I have kicking around. Then flush heavy for 1 ish weeks and hopefully get a nice fade. The Vipar spectra XS2000 is doing a great job, it has me wondering if I could use it to flower a 4x4 of autos. Its super strong. My poor man’s light mover has the plants getting a ton of light every other day with a nice rest in between. There is no light burn or yellowing, a tiny bit of leaf edge curl that goes away during its rest day. I am very happy with this light and know it’ll blow up whatever I run in here next. Week 8 update (full bloom): The autos are now in full flowering mode 🌸 Buds are stacking well, pistils are everywhere, and trichomes are starting to show up. Stretch is nearly finished – now it’s all about building flowers. Nutrients this week: • Hesi Bloom Complex (base bloom) – plants are responding really well. • Hesi PK 13/14 introduced at low dose to push flower sites. • Athena Bloom + Athena Grow (light mix) to balance nutrition and keep a steady NPK ratio. • CalMag still in rotation at ~1 ml/L. • Silic Rock small dose for stem strength. • Total feed around 800–950 ppm, depending on the plant. Observations: • Canopy looks uniform and healthy – green leaves, no big issues. • Runtz shows the most aggressive bud growth – dense flowers already forming. • Amnesia autos a bit more stretchy, but flowers are catching up fast. • Mike Tyson slowly recovering from early stress, but now producing pistils. • Aroma becoming stronger – fruity and slightly spicy terps in the tent. Training: • Final LST adjustments to spread colas. • Light defoliation to open budsites and improve airflow. • From now on: minimal interference, just supporting the flowers. Plan: • Keep PK booster for another week, then evaluate. • Maintain bloom feed and slowly reduce nitrogen. • Watch trichome development – early frost is starting, but still weeks to go before maturity.

This has been such an incredible learning experience, back in December a friend and I got bored and decided to build a tent with some scraps in my garage and a single CFL in a reptile heat lamp 🤦‍♂️and try and grow the seeds I had been sitting on for a few years. The cfl broke almost immediately and poor little lato spent the first few days of her life in the dark waiting for a cheap led from Amazon. At the beginning of this grow we had no idea what we were doing and honestly no faith we could grow anything but mid bud but it was just abt the experience. Both of us spent most of our days researching and learning about cannabis and organic growing. We ended up deciding on a small company called Dragonfly earth medicine and used their full line of bacteria based nutes/supplements (radiant green, fat flowers, brilliant black, lush roots and natural Mystik) to make teas with worm castings and molasses. I wet trimmed a couple nugs just to see what I prefer seeing as I’ve never done this before. Got everything hung up in her tent with the exhaust fan on the lowest setting. Think after Its grown I'm going to send a sample to the dam to get tested. If it's nice that is. As it's a big gap and wondering where I can get her to. Am starting her on TERRA POWERS growth base nutrients and am following it's chart as guide to use and will decide on the ML/L depending on the PPM as I'm using the full 19 nutrients so the PPM will be way up there unless I break it down into equal ppm feeds when it gets bigger and give 2 1l mixes on later stage of growth and a flush in between. I'm going to try and push her to the max that stays withIn the boundaries of not stalling her with any tox, so light tip burn will be fine and is the norm when using heavy bloom boosters (SyntheticNutrients), the best growers in the world get tip burn it's just a by product of your plant taking up max nutrient and the tips are so gentle they get tip burn, but in saying that, some ppl don't like to push their plants, nice a less harsher taste. 100% natural/normal folks and actually looked for as if you aren't seeing this your plant actually has more feed it can take, meaning you aren't maxing out her 3-5wk stretch window in flowering, (personally in think, a slight push is better than a light pull back, when dealing with autos you HAVE TO MAX YOUR VEG TIME. I'll hopefully keep tip burn away until we get into flower and then tip burn is an after thought, and a welcome sign, for me it is. Now on the other hand, if I start seeing 'the claw' or/And very dark green/shiny leafs we got a normal tox that is an often occurrence in growth phase, nitrogen toxicity. (YOU WANT TO PULL BACK ON ANYTHING nitrogen based by a lot) Let's try stay away from that, "the claw, N tox",. Shes on a light feed. EC is 1.01 = 502ppm. PH is still a stable 6. Absolutely great products guys. I mixed a solution 3 days ago. Still holding the same PH/EC. Tip to higher RH. I've wrapped wet squeezed bath towel around my pots as it dries it raises RH, cups of water do not work with led lights. Will give pics and updates on growth and nutrient changes if any. But it'll just be straight love/care and gentle handling, (if any, some times I touch the tips with the corners of tissue if I splash nutrients on the top), other than that it shouldn't be touched unless it's bent and needs did an up. 3/5/22 Doing really well I decided to give the soil a once or feed of 2ml/L of biobizz calmag. It won't hurt in the least but will counter any possible calmag def and help overall with nutrient uptake. 6/5/22 So, it's begun. I've created a negative pressure environment, 1st time, let's see if it makes an impact. On wk 3 onwards I'll be running the intake extraction for 5mins every 30mins and I'll have 2 co2 bags up. If the RH becomes a problem or temp I'll put the extraction/intake back on 100% of the time. The extraction fan/intake is set at a ratio of 2 to 1. (100% extraction 50% intake) making a negative pressure environment, best way to show you have done this, the walls in your tent should bow in lightly. RH has climed to 77%. 📆 Week 12, 7-12 July 2024 Harvest 8 July - Turned light power down to 25%. Changed nutrient solution to RO water to begin flush. 11 July - Harvest 12 July - Begin curing time. 📑 Harvest time! She is ripe, danky, sticky, full of resin, solid, and I am pleasently suprised at the yield. This is not your ordinary Auto Afghan variety. She produces heavy buds and a lot of them. This is also the first auto I have grown using DWC in 12 weeks without manipulation - 18 hours straight from start to finish. I pushed her to the limit. Now she will hang in the closet at 50-55% RH and 70 degrees F, for about 7-10 days curing. Then she will trimmed and put into one quart glass mason jars, with 62% Boveda TurpShield and burped until 62% RH is maintained. The full potency potential and terp profile will be reached in about 30-45 days. 📆 19 July 2024 The Smoq Report: After 7 days of hanging, she was ready to cut. I trim and shape each individual bud, removing unwanted leaf and stem. It’s a process but worth it if you smoke bud. Her potency is evident. It will take the experienced smoker to a satisfying high and keep you there for a good hour or more before you want another hit. The smell and taste is of a typical Afghan. I was expecting a heavier yield, but in the end I guess we all hope for a little more! Maybe next grow! 🍶 Nutrient solution changed to RO water 💧 Using reverse osmosis water with EC/TDS at 0 🔆 Light power at 25%, DLI 20 canopy coverage at 18hrs 😤 Using PYPABL, Air Pump, 400GPH That is it for this grow. Day 63 - Thunderhaze Auto I think I got a little lightburn but things are looking really frosty, this girl drinks a gallon plus a day so I've stopped using RO water because I was bringing it in 5 gallon bottles which is getting too much of a hassle and cost so she is going to get tap water from now on but I'll use RO water again later when I flush. I was feeding the full grow/bloom/micro line up just about every other day but im going to cut back to only 2 times a week and ill feed with Recharge 2 times a week and all other waterings inbetween with just a little Terpinator.

Pulled the second cherry Cola today and it looks and smells just like heaven , some nice pinks , purples and greens . Plants look to be around 12 oz together but we’ll see how they dry .

This is my second grow, (first diary). I used same set up for first grow. I did all autos and purchased from Royal Queen seeds, 2 x Cookies Gellato, 2 x fat banana and 2 x northern lights, my pals and I really impressed with the results and some very nice smoke. Decided to try some photoperiods this time out and keep a diary. Love this website reading other people's experiences is very helpful. I've done three Royal Cheese - Fast, love this strain to be so common in UK, don't see it much these days. Germimation method used, - seeds soaked in filtered water in the dark overnight in a shot glass then added to a damp kitchen towel put in a large sealed ziplock bag in the airing cupboard, after two days large tap roots and potted in their final 15 litre fabric pots. Light set at 35% power at mo. Using auto govee humidifier and hygro sensor to adjust environment without opening , really handy being able to check/adjust via WiFi. Second sensor on Spider Farmer extraction fan to cross check both sensors for accurate readings.

This is likely the nicest, cherriest terpene profile I have ever smelled in my life! Absolutely wonderful!

Durban Skunk pollen made it to this female skunk pistils and flooded her with seeds…I await what phenotype it leans on.

These SECRET genetics look fine. All sprouted, 100% germ, no issues. Got some stretch on one, but thats cool, i like a bit of stretch, will bury her a bit on transplant. Dont trust the talking dog
