Fo' Twenny here back with another update! I will be updating and uploading more photos through out the week. I hope you'll ride along and give me a follow! The deets: Feeding with .2 ml/gal of RapidStart and .2 ml/gal of SuperThrive, Adjusted pH to 6.5 and then add .25 tsp of recharge. 8/16 - 8 days post sow. All but 2 seeds have sprouted. I was especially concerned for the Melon Gum because I only had a 2 pack and both beans were quite pale. I gently dug around in the peat pellets and found the bean with a fresh, healthy tap root! I expect she should be popping up by tomorrow evening. The other bean yet to pop is the Jenny Kush. I was gifted 5 Jenny Kush seeds, and I will wait until tomorrow to see if she sprouts a tap root before popping another one. Hopefully, I will have more luck with the next one. Successful germination in 16 of 17 photoperiod seeds. With a total of 19 of 20 if you include the 3 autoflowering cultivars running along side. They're being documented in separate diaries and will stay in the veg tent when the photoperiods are moved into the bloom room. Go check 'em out! 8/20 Update: Melon Gum has sprouted. If you're not following my Zkittlez Auto diary, you missed that I almost killed this girl on accident. Graceful me, knocked over her solo cup and she got stuck to a sticky trap. Her stem split in half and I put a piece fabric medical tape to mend her and she is actually growing and doing well regardless of her injuries. All the girls, except Jenny have sprouted and are developing. I planted a new Jenny seed 8/18 and left the original in too, just in case. 4th week of veg and everything is going beautifully ❤️.. we've been rotating pots every few days or so to encourage them to grow uniformly but 1 of the plants is a bit of a runt..I think its just the way it is..they're all using training ties now and couldn't look happier at the moment, which makes me happy! ❤️🌱..thanks for dropping by and happy harvests everyone!! 😽💨

Start of week 4, the blueberry is using up nutes quicker then the other strain's, but she rebounded quickly after being fed. The OG Kush is very compact and tight node spacing, lots of bud sites.

I fed the plants 75% nutrients for it's very last feeding although 6 or more leaves are showing signs of nitrogen deficiency but the buds are still growing, all signs show that I think they need 2 more weeks. Most pistols are amber, and a few new pistols still grow from the tops or sides of each bud. New sugar leaf growth on the tops look more rounded. The trichomes on the oldest sugar leaves have turned amber, less so on middle and top. Trichomes on the buds range from appearing clear, cloudy and milky, but not amber. I want the trichomes on the buds to be anywhere between 10-30% amber.

First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable environment in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. Last week I fought some yellowing of the leaves. Did some small adjustments on PH to keep it in the 5.6 range. Seemed to stop it from progressing. For Week 3 Veg I topped the plants. I plan to flip the lights at the end of week 3 and move into flower. Lights are still at 25% power Day 17 Leaves are getting darker. Everything is looking good. Day 18 Turned room temp down to 73F from 76F. Fearing it is warming up my res tank too much. Day 19 Starting to get yellowing again. checked everything and can't find a good reason for it. Did notice some cloudiness in my res tank. Added 2 ML/Gal of peroxide. have Hydroguard on the way to help. I'll be adding more fans this weekend. I have light air movement currently. Also found a few spider mites and sprayed Greencleaner to all plants. Current environment settings: Room Temp 72.74 F Room Humidity 63.63% (After spraying, Trending down). Room CO2 589PPM Tank PH 5.718 Tank PPM (500 Scale) 813 Tank Temp 74.5 F Day 20 Recalibrated my EC probe just to be sure it was also accurate. wasn't off by much. Dialed back my flooding to every 5 hours to encourage Rooting. <-- Strong roots = strong Plants Sprayed for mites again.

End of course for this Persian Prince project! Unfortunately, he failed to cut short this flowering a few days in advance following the start of a pest attack. Our two beautiful ones would have certainly enjoyed crunching life with full roots for another week, but prudence forced us to cut a little prematurely. Never mind, our flowers have dried for 10 days and are now ready to begin their maturing period in a jar. Despite these conditions, which are very well known to them, our Persian Princes still present impressive characters: the buds are huge, covered with a thick layer of trichomes and very fragrant. In terms of flavors, cheesy dominates 🧀 the two phenos smell strongly of semi-roller/Emmental style hard cheese, definitely the dominant aroma, for one of our two plants it is the only aroma that I am capable of to raise. The other phenotype is more complex, on the salty-cheesy smell a fresher and tangy/lemony smell is superimposed, very pleasant and different from its sister and at the same time linked to it by its common dominant cheesy aroma. All from fridge 24 hr shot glass ro and h2o2. All popped. Substrate is coco amended with dr. Earth and other goodies. Was wet and set in tent 48hrs. Letting these grow into the wet coco until the top is dry. Lights are 300 par about which is max for babies i think...

Day 30 of flower; I raised her pot about 30 cm to get closer to the light and to prevent her younger tall neighbours from over-growing her. She's packed with deliciously smelling, very sticky buds. This is a true queen! One of the better, if not the best, smelling plant I've grown. Can't wait to try her. She'll be ready soon. 😊

Day 85. Girls looked ok till i saw budrot !!! Sunset Sherbet went to bin. Was biggest from all ... on last visit i saw bird poop on her, maybe its aftermath of nute burn ... ;))))) Apples looks very long and stretchy by bud structure, in other words more bubble hash plant than for smoking. Purple is going nice and steady, just no purple colours ;)))))) Overall girls can go without care, but results will be small, they needed better light , forest overtook surroundings, needs good clean up, but its not my land ;))) Think 20-30 g each is around what i will get from rest. It has been another great week for these Fastbuds ~ Wedding Cheesecake Autos!! Today is day 22 from seed and this upcoming week all 5 will be getting Tied down for LST ! All are getting same veg feed just but make sure if you are using rapid start your gonna have to mix in PH up in your feeds! Week 8 is this the final week? We shall see, but my new phone made it so I cannot connect my old USB microscope. I checked the trichomes before I got rid of the phone and we were 80% cloudy 18% clear and about 2% amber. I’ve ordered in a new microscope. Once I receive it I’ll upload some trichome shots. Coming down Saturday/Sunday.
