17.3.25: I've starred a Hulkberry auto. This was the first pack of seeds I bought! I realised it was mostly sativa, but now I'm ready to give it a go! Made my soil mix, which I will update next week. 9/12 Sprayed 1 tbsp K Bicarb with 1/4tsp dawn. Only had time to use a half gallon. I've used more but with all the defoliation this seemed to work and I was in a hurry. I can't ask those watching my plants to do actual labor when I'm not home. I wouldn't want anyone working on my plants but me anyway. I defoliated dead stuff. Still have this rusty looking leaves dieing on my ice cream cake. I need to finish a little defoliating. Broke out my 100x scope and checked a few buds. Things are exploding. Another nice sunny day today. Beastie bloom had no negative effects. I'll use it again and I'll probably use cha ching as well. Went back down to defoliate a little more. I'm getting excited. Still a lot of work left but it's nice to see the progression. Had to cut out a small nug last night that looked like it might start to rot. It was probably fine but I wasn't taking chances. It's so dank and crystally. One of my mystery seeds in the 5 gallon will be done soon. Milky trichs and hard as a rock. Im hoping they will beef up a bit. Little to no amber but things are progressing so fast. I mean nights are in the 40°'s. 9/13 No need to water as it had rained so much the bags need to dry out. Sunny day today. Plants are doing great. Buds increase in bulk on the daily. Took a few pictures and defoliated what needed it. A dog was added to the grow for security. It hasn't gotten used to me yet but it's extremely loud and annoying. Nothing will get past it though. I tried to last night. I shut down the motion sensors informed the other growers (except the person who's shift it was to watch) and I couldn't make it down there on foot let alone a vehicle. Hope the dog liked me but it's certainly useful. It APPEARS we will be having some good weather so I'm excited. I think my plants will be able to finish properly. At least I hope. Either way if I have to harvest early do to the weather so he it but I'll cross that bridge when it comes. Plan to do a preventative BT spray this week. 9/14 FED TODAY. LOWERED GROW BIG TO HALF TBSP. AND AGAIN used 1/4 TBSP Beastie Bloom. Buds are swelling with the sunshine that we've had. I defoliated what needed it and found more dead foliage. It's so weird this damage. I'm pretty sure it's earwigs but the only bother new shoots so that's a good thing. Things are getting close and looking good. I need to do another app of BT. I heard a storm may be coming I'll need to check the weather. 9/15 After a few good days of weather we are in for some rain. Supposably a big storm but it looks like I won't get the worst of it. No water obviously. Something (probably earwigs or jpn beetles) eating or lollipopping lower things. They seem to leave flowers alone. It's just low shoots. Everything is flowering incredibly. I checked trichs on one of my mystery seeds and it looks done. I'm considering taking it. It's in my garage for 24 hrs of darkness and to avoid rain until I make my decision. I also took the two lowest branches off on DJ Short blueberry to taste test and see where I'm at. I probably shouldn't but o do this every year. It will be good to try the mystery bud before I harvest it all. It's just a little guy but the buds are rock hard and with the weather and pm and stuff I'm not sure what I'm going to do yet. UPDATE: APPARENTLY WE HAVE SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WARNINGS WITH GOLF BALL SIZED HAIL. I can move the other little ones in the garage but everything else is firmly rooted and have taken a beating already. I pray things will be ok. 9/16 No damage from the ridiculous storm last night. I need to spray ASAP. I have a fungal infection with just a few weeks to go. Looks like PM but I know some is a different fungal issue. I'll probably use the k bicarb or citric acid. So far no bud damage or damage up top. The things the earwigs ate were low like the lollipoped lower limbs. It's getting so close. I've been checking trichs and they look great but the buds have some filling out to do. 9/17 DID K BICARBONATE TREATMENT THIS AM. I didn't even look to see if I needed to water. Fuck. buds were soaking wet though so it must've rained. I have to go back down anyway to add a couple strings and do a little more defoliating. Did a treatment with k bicarb this morning.. 1 tbsp with dawn in a half gallon sprayer. I also need to address this earwig problem. They are ravaging some secondary lower branches and Im sure they are spreading disease. I only have a few weeks left and I want the best quality I can possibly get. I plan to put gorilla tape on the outside of the grow bag (double width) and petroleum jelly on the stems. That way they can't climb the bag. If they are in the soil of the bag hopefully the jelly will stop them. I'll also try beer as I've heard that works. I really don't want to resort to borax. Oh and I may have had a visitor last night. I'll have to check the cams. Nothing on the ones I checked but I have some game cams at different angles I haven't checked yet. It was probably just a nocturnal animal. Great to know that the dog announces though. This was at like 12:30 and I was out quick. I only have a few more weeks. I hope the cannabis gods are with me. 9/18 Whatever is eating my plants (earwigs I assume) are progressing from lower secondary or tertiary branches and new shoots to small buds. Looking at trichs some plants look ready. One seedling and the blueberries. I'd like the blueberries to go longer but I'd risk losing them. Fungal and mold issues aren't the greatest either. I was hoping for a big swell but if the weather stays raining and foggy like this it might be better to harvest a little early. I got a second opinion this morning and I'm leaning on taking the seedling and at least the one blueberry with the worst damage that dropped most of its leaves. I'll see how the bottom branch smokes this afternoon and make my decision then. Didn't feed for fear of lockout or if decide to cut. UPDATE: After the second consult with a different local grower I decided to harvest the blueberry that was furthest along and dropping it's leaves. It was done. Luckily it had been flushed with all this sheet rain we've gotten. It rains hard as I speak. Last year I think I had two strings the length of the huge garage and that lasted me all year. This one plant took an entire string to itself. If the weather cooperates this will be a good day. I also flushed the mystery seed I was going to take hoping it might fill out but trichs are very Amber and the bud is DENSE. Not risking mold or insect damage or theft. This took hours to harvest this ONE Blueberry plant. I had to harvest limbs. This was when I could see damage best. I also am curing the buds from the lower branch I took earlier and the other bud that is done. I plan on testing it out tomorrow. I could smoke now but Im already burnt and tired and want to try this with a clear head. I can't believe how long this took. One Big and one little down 10 more to go. Phone died so I couldn't take any pictures.

Week 16 Everybody is on Flower! End of August: daylight 13h20: 7h20/20h40. Day temperature max: 26°C - Night temperature : 17°C Sunny weather - 2/3 rainy days in 2 weeks Enriched the soil with seaweed powder and bat guano. Continue to add flowering nutrients: Grower Master I added some Calmag one time. Watering 2L/plant every 3 days (2 days would be better) With humidity growing and the relatives hot temperatures: the predators are attacking plants. Everything appears so fast: Aphids, caterpillars, leaf miner flies. Did a general defoliation before spray my mixture Garlic + laurel (12cl Garlic juice + 5cl laurel infusion + 1L distilled water: beware PH!!). I sprinkled diatomaceous earth on top of soil to protect and minimize the infestation. Brake Pad Breath: still deep green and bushy. Flowering since 4 weeks. The most advanced, pretty good flowers with long pistils are growing. Spared until now: the plant is victim of Aphids, miner leaf flies and caterpillars in a « reasonable way »….try to eradicate the problem without shocking the plant at this stage. Flash Back#2: around 2 weeks flowering, stretched a few centimeters more, well developed plants with lot of blooming sites. Relatively spared by pests, just some aphids. GMO X Zombie Kush: some difficulties to recover….just engaged the flowering process, not to bad if she resist to the second pest’s wave. Royal Moby: uncertain destiny….recovering good, sativa style: 155cm, just starting the flowering stage…super late! Harvested a pretty auto flower: White Russian by Serious Seeds. Well developed plant, a little bit long to be ready but resinous and meaty buds.

Trimmed her up a bit so inner nods will receive some good light.

Going great! Got the second screen on and managed to DIY a bar for my light mover to get my 1000w HPS up as high as possible. One of my main problem always seems to be vertical space! But I imagine a lot of fellow growers know this struggle. Lol still had a few buds reaching up over the 70 DLI threshold directly under the light that I had to hook down to the second screen but for the most part the second screen is just for support. Been watching my ph and ppm and keeping pm between 5.8 and 6.2 and ppm has been giving around the 600-650ppm mark. Because I spread them out in their own 4’x4’ area each plant they had lots of room the grow and I really haven’t had to Defoliate at all, with the under netting grow exception of course. Starting to smell citrusy and bud set is happening. 2nd week of flowering is going great! Cheers 💨

I harvested on day 55 flower. She smells great and the yield looks pretty decent. super dense buds! I decided to harvest earlier- 8 weeks vs 9 weeks to get a more energetic high out of the blueberry :)

Hey! Welcome to week 8! Karen is mid way through her flowering stretch. Please check back to last week as I update daily so the week is now complete. I count about 20 colas now. Day 51: Have reconfigured the tent, see video. Karen is now 36cm and still stretching. Karen has more light now. Smell is still there hits you when you open the tent. Fertigated 2l. Day 52: Height: 39cm. Karen's scent is heavenly. I have reconfigured again and installed some upgrades. Better reflector. Much bigger carbon filter. Increased airflow. Better config. More efficient pot layout. Karen is lovely. I am grateful to her and for her, so I wrote her a little poem, I hope she liked it. "Karen! Oh Karen! The phoenix of flowers, Three lowly weeks she struggled in vain, Shadowed and starved for five hundred hours, He slowly wept to witness her pain. Karen! Oh Karen! I P-H'd your showers, and in the fourth week you started to gain, Hallowed and hard you survived as you cowered, I thought you meek, I was wrong once again. Karen! Oh Karen! Forgave me my howlers. She set a pace, a pace she maintained, Now shes a girl at the peak of her powers, And so I'm a geek, with buds on the brain." Day 53: Approx 48h into a simulated dry spell. Alright I think it is time for Karen to get her first MAJOR defoliation. I will update shortly with photos and info. I will also be doing some gentle LST to separate the colas a bit. Day 53.5: Defoliation and LST. Finally got chance to photograph that bunda. Enjoy! Day 53.75: Bit of a fail. Messed up the timer and the lights ended up being off for about 3 or 4 hours. Because I was cooling the room (open window) to keep temperature in the tent down, without any light the temperatures absolutely plummeted as it is sub-zero outside. By the time I realised and turned the lights on, the temp in the main tent had dropped to 14 degrees celsius. Whoops! How is that for mistreating your girl? Defoliated about 80% of her leaves, 4 nodes, significant LST, then stuck her in the cold and dark for 1/6 of a day. Not to mention she is now almost 3 days into a "dry spell". There do not seem to be ill effects, and Karen has already begun to respond to the LST; all the colas that had been changed in angle are now upright again. The dry spell I keep mentioning, there is a method behind my madness, I have spotted one or two small flies and I think they may be fungus gnats. I am starting to suspect that the 2nd seedling in the Purple OG Punch Auto grow was actually beheaded by fungus gnat larvae. So I am drying out the mediums as much as I dare. I am closely monitoring the plants, so far the only one I have had to break the drought for is Enigma; all the girls in big pots haven't even noticed it's dry yet. How far am I going to push it? Well I will judge it on a plant by plant basis, but quite honestly I am hoping to see physical signs of thirst before I breakdrought. Of all the plants the two I think will respond most strongly to this will be Karen and Bertha, because of where they are. Karen here is actually probably 4 weeks into flowering rather than two, so about now is a good time to give her a little hydration stress. I do not think I will push it past 5 days, as RH is 34%. By now all the plants will be compensating for the lack of moisture and the high temperatures and low humidity. They will be taking more and more moisture out of the coco, and as the coco dries further and further down, those plants that have space will start desperately growing roots to find moisture. Mark my words, 24 hours after I end this drought, every plant in the tent will throw out crazy growth. Day 54: Ended drought and fertigated 6l, no run off, I will re-fertigate tomorrow. Karen is still stretching her height post LST is now 37cm. The two tallest colas seem to have stopped but the other colas are still stretching. Day 55: Alright so it has been 5 hours since lights on, and Karen is looking in good shape, all her drooping leaves have perked back up and she has added quite a bit of foliar growth. The colas are all still rising, except perhaps the two tallest. This girl is absolutely loaded with pistils, I'm starting to see trichomes on the sugar leaves, but trich production hasn't started in earnest yet. She has a least 20 colas, and 6 of them are thicker/taller than the primary cola at her tip. Every one of her nodes has reinforced itself with a bulbous growth and these cola branches are swelling rapidly. I am increasingly of the opinion that, all being well, this girl is going to surprise us all with her yield. My first grow, which was just mucking about really, I got 60-70g of the two main plants, and they were just bare sticks with 2 colas. Although her height is less than theirs was, 2/3 of their height was bare stick... whereas every mm of her is befoliaged and living. So in terms of the height of the actual cola I think they were about comparable in usable space on a per cola basis. The main difference being that Karen has 20+ colas whereas they had 2 primary and 2 lower. I know that it is probably unrealistic to expect more than 70g from a single auto grown indoors. Nevertheless my gut tells me this baby could achieve at least 100g, perhaps as much as 150g. The next few weeks will determine that, but given where we were in week 3 I will be grateful for any yield of quality bud. I have dropped the lights down to 18/6 from 'tonight' onwards. I really have no idea how long we have left for Karen. According the the "brochure" she flowers for 7-8 weeks, with a total crop time of 9 weeks. The problem is I don't know what a total crop time is? Does that mean from seed to finish? If so Karen is clearly not going to be anywhere near that timescale.I am going to go ahead an assume that, for my plant anyway, the first 4 weeks were veg weeks. I think it is fair to count week 5 and 6 as flowering because pistils were popping out very early in week 5 if not before. So that makes this week four of flowering. I am going to assume 8 weeks rather than 7, so I think we have another 4 full weeks give or take a week. On that basis I am expect harvest week to be around week 12 or so. I am not fixed on this though, I am determined not to harvest this girl early. Day 55: Photos taken 00:00 9/3/23 Strong 24h of veg growth as predicted. Day 56: Existing leaves continue to swell. Stretch appears to be slowing. I've taken so many media this week that I cannot scroll down far enough to select a recent thumbnail. Probably Karen's biggest week in terms of changes. She is looking like she is going to impress. Height 39cm.

had to do some light defoliation to increase light penetration more and more air flow as humidity been a bit high without dehumidifier one in order now its the biggest of all other so hope for some big yields

Las flores se desarrollan perfectamente aunque la 8 ball al ser 100% indica se va a quedar bastante atrás pero las red mandarin me tienen sorprendido para bien, sobre todo la de color rojo que está preciosa. En la próxima semana mostraré los días 9, 11 y 13 de noviembre, ayer dia 9 empecé con el engorde de boom nutrien y a partir de ahora un riego con abonos con las cantidades que lleva y el siguiente riego solo la mitad de nutrientes además de ser la última semana que le hecho el bio-grow para dejar solo el bio-bloom. También quité la malla por última vez para hacer un poco de limpieza y las cambié de sitio además de levantar un poco más la maceta de la 8 ball para que quedara un poco más a la altura de las otras mañana dia 11 grabaré un video para ver como siguen y el día 13 otro aunque el riego creo que será el día 12 que son de 750ml por maceta cada tres dias aprox.

So just cruising now, last week saw alot of leg work in the defoliation dept, tidying all lower branches, keeping fan leaves to a minimum, and then aiding the scrog by tucking, pulling, anything to keep things moving in the right direction. The challenge now, as stated earlier is to bring all plants ready to flip at the same time, which is a challenge lol, but an enjoyable one. The bench mark here is the scrog, once that's ready everything else can be flipped, the trick is keeping everything else in there low. Atm 6 plants are hooked up to the Res,with another 2 to follow. Currently drinking about 40 liters every 2 to 3 days. It's amazing how much they can drink... Another tucking session, the nets almost filled now, so I'll probably Monday, depending on how it's looking. I replaced the vipra with another maxbloom and moved the vipra into my smaller tent for the Royal Gorilla grow. So far all is going well with no hiccups health wise.

On day 1 I adjusted the PH of my reservoir from 6.3 to 6.1. On day 2 the PH was 6.0. On day 3 the buds are really bulking up :) and the reservoir is at 6.0. On day 4 I applied a BTI drench Ph of 6.0. This should be the final application for any remaining fungus gnats. The reservoir's PH is also 6.0. On day 5 I had to PH up my reservoir to 6.2. When I get to the last half of my reservoir the PH seems to dive down instead of up. On day 6 the reservoir PH is 6.3. On day 7 I adjusted the PH of the reservoir to 6.1 and did my final defoliation before harvest. I have one cola that may have gotten pollen somehow... I cant find any male pollen sacks anywhere on my plants so it's kind of a mystery at the moment. Only time will tell and all my other colas seem unaffected.

Last week of feeding. Started the flush already, eyes still pinned on the 25th for harvest.

Day 27..plants are doing well..new light has arrived and the girls have responded well..starting to see a pistol of two on the plant on the left..in the video..small mistake..I planted them and forgot to label them so not 100% sure which is which right now lol
