Hello everyone! Welcome to my Tent-X Ultimate Grow Challenge diary. 💪 I'm germinating 2 seeds from every of the selected cultivars on paper towels: 👉 Strawberry Cough (Dutch Passion) 👉 Mimozz (Perfect Tree) 👉 Slurricane (Advanced Seeds) 👉 Cherry Atomic Sledgehammer (Welcome To The GrowTent) Did not have much success this time - germination rate was just over 60% - my worst in years. But still - I'll get enough plants for my tent - I always try to sprout 200% of what I really need, for ocasions like this one. 😎 After they germinated I moved sprouts to easy plugs - which is wher they normally start they life (I usually ommit paper towel step and go straight into plugs). First time in years I'm really having problems with germination. The one Slurricane that did germinate seems to have broken growth cone or something - it is no growing at all. Mimozz seems like it wants to die so it probably will... I did drop one more seed just to be sure I have at least 4 plants: 👉 Grandpa's Cookies #6 S1 (ETHOS Genetics) More updates coming soon 👋 Thank you, come again! 😅

Welcome to week 3 Day 16 after last night Im not going to post any pics tonight lets see what tomorrow looks like when they had a chance to suck up those nutes. One thing I did do is I added a cal/mag foliar spray I has a cal maG ISSUE on my older plants so I figured a little cal/mag on the leaves wont hurt anything (if you don't overdo it, as i LOOK BACK sry caps button locks, one thinbg that really plagues me is it seems during than of going into the stretch I seem to always have issue with a defienecy My week 7-plant from another current grow grow I waited to long to add cal/mag and lost a lot of leaves and it is hurting my buds But I have a Gorilla glue and a Gelato right next to each other the gorilla glue never had a issue while the gelato did strains do differ Like I learned last week gorilla glue has issues with phosphorus at the last half of flowering so I had to cut back on Bud enhancers and the black Lebanon I'm growing next is good in high temps and low humidity so remember so straiN IS THE SAME so research before you get seeds and grow what you are prepared for I rambled enough tonight to make up for pics Day 18 climbing for the net found out there are Name issues Gozilla cookies are supossed to be God Strain and Girl scout cookies But Herbie's strain is Gorilla glue#4 and Girl Scout cookie which by most other breeders is Gorilla Cookies. so the lesson here is always to check your Genetics. I am really concerned that many breeders and wanna-be breeders are going to do to Cannabis what dog Breeders did to pit bulls a lot of damage has been done to the pit bull breed due to overbreeding, inbreeding and cross-breeding Unless you spend a lot of money you dont know what you are getting I believe this will be the case with cannabis seeds

Tried some new growing techniques, which may have resulted in lower yield compared to my last grow, but I also think the strain just yields a bit less. Overall easy to grow, didn't have to do too much and got a decent amount of good looking buds

I will be focusing this diary on the smoothie strain but you’ll be seeing some other plants in the tent that are not the same strain. I only have room in this tent so bare with me. There are 2 Smoothie, 1 CNC, and 1 Stardawg (dog). The smoothie are the two bigger ones in the back of the tent. Now, the Smoothie from FastBuds is just killin it right now. Since I popped the beans they have done nothing but show signs of greatness. I don’t think this one is gonna slow down much either. I’m going to push these plants harder than my last harvest. I had a really really amazing harvest last time. I was even able to pull sap out of all 4 plants. 2 Zkittles and 2 LSD-25. This was all done by feeding at the right times and keeping a “moist” soil. Also I want add that I ran pretty much the entire line of Nectar for the Gods at a little less then the recommended ratios. This time I plan on going a tiny bit over the recommended ratios just to see what these plants will do. Trust me, if the plants have a bad response I will go back to the recommended ratios. The reason I want to do this is because I really think these auto strains can handle a lot more than a regular flowering cycle plant would. They can handle more stress, that’s for sure. When do you think I should add a compost tea into my regimen? Soon or wait till the plant is a little larger?

Glad with the results. The purple punch and the Blue gelato 41 already has a strong smell, girls are healthy all is going well.

Start week 5 , Bio Grow 2 ml/L + Sensi Cal-Mag Xtra 2 ml/L + Alg-A-Mic 2 ml/L + CarboLoad 2 ml/L + Bio-Heaven 2 ml/L + Bio-Bloom 1 ml/L ( Ph 6.5).

59 Days I think it will be ready by the end of this week. There are a few amber trichomes. Es wurde heute noch zusätzlich eine Lampe ergänzt. Die Seitentriebe etwas aufgebogen damit das Licht etwas besser an die unteren Triebe gelangt.

Day 42-49 (Day 43) I was at the dollar store today and I found the best little plant risers. And they all link together in perfect 12” squares. Fits in my tent perfectly and only spent 15 bucks. That should help the dry downs quite a bit. I’m going to transplant the euro genetics into 1.7g pots with amended sunshine mix #4 for their final containers. I moved all of the non-marijuana seedlings into a small greenhouse out of my tent so I have some more space and light per plant. I also set up an exhaust fan to keep the humidity at a perfect 65-70% night and day. (Day 44) Everything is looking a little nute burned and droopy. The garlics are showing signs of overwatering and nitrogen toxicity. They look like they want to flower so badly. Node spacing is weirdly short too. I picked up the American genetics to look for roots and they were busting out of the bottom. They’re definitely not rootbound as they’re not even a foot tall yet. This is likely from having soil that is too compact (from using too much rock dust and not enough drainage) causing my waterings to not even reach the bottom of the pot. This was also happening to my other grow. I will make sure to very lightly pack soil into pots for now on because you can always add more later. I’m going to fluff up the pots and see if I can loosen the soil a bit. If that doesn’t work I’m going to look at transplanting into 3g fabric pots and lightly shaking off most of the old soil. Luckily I added a shit ton of drainage for the euro genetics when I amended the sunshine mix so they won’t need a transplant. (Day 46) The fluffing didn’t do much. In fact it might have made it worse lol. I just went to the store and bought some Destiny Organics soil and have decided to transplant. I dusted off 90% of the old soil down to root ball which will cause an insane amount of stress to the plants. The plants started in the aero garden were being choked out by the shitty sponge plug it was germinated in. I took a razor blade and carefully cut them down the middle so the stem can expand. I might have cut a few major roots one or two plants. Other than that everything is transplanted. I cut all my amendments in half and I packed the soil very loosely this time. The situation is not ideal by any means but I’m hoping they will bounce back in the next week. This should at least set them up for a more successful flower. I can’t really expect much quality from botched run but who knows. I might come out with some fire. Since this is my last grow here I don’t even have to pay the power bill for the next few months! (I have a very generous landlord as he’s letting me finish my grow until mid September now 😂) (Day 47) I’m going to give them their first good watering and test my fluffy soil. I watered in approximately 700mls each making sure it soaks to the bottom of the pot. (Day 49) All the plants have bounced back except for the ones with root damage. They are still looking droopy and sad. The black garlic #1 has recovered really nicely and is looking happier than ever. The apical growth tip is so tight it has like 4 nodes within an inch somehow. I recently learned that hormones contained in kelp and seaweed extracts can act as plant growth inhibitors and shorten node spacing drastically. I only added a very small amount of kelp meal to the soil so it must be leftover from the previous foliar sprays Velokelp. I’m going to pinch the top off bg1 and see if the lowers can catch up. Sucks to do that so close to flip but oh well. The euros are looking fully recovered from their burn a little while ago. The sunshine mix is quite thick and water retentive as well but at least it has some extra drainage. They’re all looking quite healthy.

La marca recomienda sembrar directamente al sustrato, aquí, en suelo vivo funcionó perfectamente, una no dio a luz pero ya tenemos dos nuevas representantes! Debo decir que la marca me envió mi paquete de 10 semillas y dentro había 12!!! Que alegría!!! Los brotes tardaron 5 a 7 días en aparecer pequeños entre el húmedo ambiente inicial. Hello growmies! Welcome to week four of An Epsilon Adventure! The girls are already transitioning into flower, I will get some photos of that later in the week. Massive thanks to both Shogun and Royal Queen Seeds for sponsoring this grow. Daily Updates: ### Week 4 Day 1 11:00 16/7 Removed some lower growth. ### Week 4 Day 2 23:00 17/7 Tallest plants were showing signs of heat stress so I have raised the light about 30cm more. Unfortunately this now means the lower plants aren't getting as much light as they could, so I have put the cycle back to 20h (I may even increase it). ### Week 4 Day 3 14:00 18/7 Photographed. ### Week 4 Day 3 19:00 18/7 Fertigated 2l. Okay these girls are now starting to concern me a little on the basis that they are supposed to grow to "50-70cm". At just over 3 weeks old the shortest of these girls is 53cm, the tallest (plant 3) is now 76cm tall. The worrying thing is they do not at all look like they are slowing down and as they are just pre-flowering now, the flowering stretch hasn't even started. So I need some genuine advice here now: Do I keep the faith and hope that they don't exceed the space I have? Do I top or super crop them now? These ladies are beastly, at the end of the week I am going to take some individual videos and more photos to really try and capture how magnificently well these girls are doing. I think I may be in the process of growing the biggest Epsilon F1's so far? Exciting to find out! ### Week 4 Day 4 21:00 19/7 James has assured me they wont go much more than 85 so I am not going to mess with them. They are due a defoliation at the end of this week though. Measured each plant as follows: Plant 1: 81cm Plant 2: 75cm Plant 3: 80cm Plant 4: 67cm Plant 5: 59cm Plant 6: 58cm Might photograph later or leave until tomorrow. ### Week 4 Day 5 10:00 20/7 Photographed and measured. Plant 1: 85cm Plant 2: 79cm Plant 3: 81cm Plant 4: 71cm Plant 5: 63cm Plant 6: 63cm So they've all grown about 4cm in about 13 hours, except plant 3 - which seems to have slowed down a lot. The top of plant 3 is also the most advanced looking in terms of pistils. I forgot to take close ups of the preflowers I will do that tomorrow. I have had to raise the light again today and it is now much further away than the younger plants than I would like. So I am thinking about adding a 300w LED into my 4x4. I have another 3 inches I can raise the light on the hangers, after that I can removed the adjustable handers and tie it to the top of the tent... that'll gain me another 4 or 5 inches. If I need to go higher my only option would be to set them up without the tent which is not an option right now. Hopefully they all just stop getting taller now and focus on flowering... but my gut tells me there's more growth to come. Watch this space! ### Week 4 Day 6 15:00 21/7 Measured. This strain averages 50-70cm in height. We have six plants here and every one of them is taller than the average... but would you just look at plant 1? She is a giant! 102cm!! Where will she stop? Next week will see the full transition to flower and we will start to see the bud sites developing. I have no idea at this point what the heights will look like at the end of next week. Bueno, al final las flores desde el tallo medio hacia arriba no han sido polinizadas ... ¡o al menos pocas tendrán semillas! Porfin los cogollos están empezando a hincharse y definitivamente les daré una semana más de floración. ¿Qué dices? Si teneis algún consejo para mí, lo agradesco mucho!

Hi growers! The tent is looking gerrgus!They produce nice buds,and the smell from the tent is amazing!Can't wait to finish them....I had to remove some yelow leafs on the botom,becouse of bad airflow...But all in one they grow nice 🙂 Stay green!
