Start of week 9, getting fat

Today was the day, unfortunately about a week in advance because of an infestation of Mites that reached the buds of all 4 plants left. After reasoning, interrogating AI and watching a video, I had to harvest in advance and I decided to do a washing with H2O2 as per this video explanation of Jorge Cervantes, available at this link (https://youtu.be/S7jE7qzfgQs?si=eC6klOXkWz9eBJO3). I am providing photos and video also of this step I made.

June 28th : Been enjoying the start of a new week with a video. Decided to try to put some music to it instead of just the loud fans going! Think it went ok for a first try! Cola's are filling up nicely. They are well on their way! June 29th : Got some really good shots tonight. Still gotta work on holding a bit steadier for my macro shots. Another round of like 30 shots with only one good one. Oh well Plants are looking great! So far no signs of anything detrimental from the extra light last week! Knock on wood!! June 30th : Wound up running out of time in my day for pictures. July 1st : Did a straight water tonight. Realized tonight that both my Early Girl O.G. have a different cola structure and the hairs are quite different. Very cool! Looks like they are fattening up but i'm worried they won't hit the size of some of the other's I've seen on here. Should have gone with a bigger single light. Oh well. July 2nd : Been a busy life for me lately and couldn't get to pics. July 3rd : Still didn't have time for pics due to previous obligations. July 4th : Ment to take pictures tonight but stayed up with the wife and kid watching fireworks! Ended up totally forgetting to snap more pics.. Ugh. Holidays taking away from all the fun! 02/08/25: We are entering the last few weeks of flowering and the smell is getting really intense from these two ladies! The Indica leaning Pheno gives a strong spicy/earthy aroma while the sativa Plant has a more subtle but super sweet fruity smell to it. So far i am really pleased with what I am seeing here, just need a few weeks more patience! 🤞🏼

We have 2 weeks under our belt and now we're charging into week. So far each day I can see more new growth which is encouraging. With a few more nodes in the next day or so I'll look at topping. Cheers til next time -Dj Sunstone

***Note that I started to count the days when I placed the seeds between paper towels. The seeds were planted 3 days later and sprouted from the ground 2 days after being planted. D80 (13/05/2021): I'm looking at the trichomes every other days. Glue Gelato is starting to show amber on top buds. No amber for Banana Kush and Gelato. This time I will chop them all at the same time so the one I will rely on is the Glue Gelato. As soon as she is ready, I will harvest them all. Banana Kush and Gelato would probably need more, but in term of logistic, I need to harvest all my plants at the same time. D83 (16/05/2021): Not ready yet. I'm checking trichomes closely! 😬 - Light: the lights are at 100% and at 12 inch form the plants. - Temperature: during the day: 24-25C ; during the night: 20C. - Humidity: the humidity is maintain around 46-48% all the time. - Air circulation: There is an oscillating fan on the ground, one fixed fan pointing on top of the canopy and one fixed fan to help cool the lights. - Water: I gave water every other day or when the ground feel dry or the pots feels light. - ***IPM: I never mention it but I'm using nematodes pouch as an integrated pest management. I had trouble with pest in my first grow and I learned from it. That's the only thing I do for pest and of course watching closely and regularly at my plants 😊

Und nochmal ordentlich an Größe zugelegt. Allerdings hat sich dadurch auch die Entwicklung der Blüte etwas verlangsamt, fast sogar eingestellt. Find ich aber gut, dass se net so'n Knirps geblieben is.

Día de cosecha y la verdad estoy muy contento con lo que veo, son hermosas estas flores y su fragancia exquisita. La planta tuvo una deficiencia de Cal/Mag, la que se corrigió a tiempo pero de igual manera afectó en su crecimiento y rendimiento, más allá de eso estoy feliz por las flores de calidad que tendré para degustar más adelante.

Merlin Mintz Autoflower is growing great. She got lollipopped and a defoliation. She is ready for more stretching, and to do some budding. Everything is looking great. She took to the neem oil treatment last week good. Little Shiney from oil residue still. But I can live with it. I managed to turn the negative heat temperature in to something positive by introducing co2 to the environment. As a result of the diy co2 method some of branches grew up by 1.5 inches in 2days! Will continue to utilise co2 in the box for now. I also had to adopt the defoliation method Way to many leaves could cause problems by raising the moisture level in the box. As a result of the defoliation a lot of light is reaching the bottom of the box. Which means I can grow other small plants in the box. I switched to bloom NPK ratios. Slowly introducing the raw mix. It’s doing fine and as allways no tip burns

Home stretch now. Going by the last time I grew this strain, theres about 2 or 3 weeks left till harvest. Buds are fattening up, absolutely sticky as anything and stink the place up too!

Had a great week. ILGM has always been a strong grower for me. I've grown a few different strains from ILGM and they always grow very well. She went from 8 inches to 16 inches this week. I topped her about 3-4 days ago. She recovered from the topping very well and has new growth so she is doing as well as I could want. No problems to talk about this week 😀. Onto week 5.
