Day 22: Drain EC 3 feet high and risin'😅( average 3.3 to be exact...) dunno how much whatever-salt is building up in that pots, but it obviuosly doesn't bother the ladies. Dark green colour, very few 'claws', no signs of tipp-burn, new foliage appears in a juicy green and turns dark in an instant, leafs point upwards....... looks like they're happy😊. Planns for this week: - Install the scrog-net - Obsereve plants/soil ( when do i have to feed nutrients again?) otherwise there will be no changes...... Thoughts: These bushy babies will be kind of a challlenge to create this scrog the way i'm used to (basically bending the 4 main main colas to the corners of the tent, upper branches to the walls and spaces between the pants, lower branches to the very center). Now these ladies make so many branches, so close togehter and so equal in length, underneath huge fanleafs..... i'd love to have them in a 100 square meter canna-crib....but in a tent...????? I really hate doin' things without having them planned - but in this case i guess i will have to install the net, start weaving and see what's happening😯 Day 23 Let's keep it positive...... indoor-climate of 64% rh is perfect for my health💪😁!!! ......but in my tent it's killing the vpd😖. at a lousy 24 degrees C, i'm readin' about 60-64 % rh wich results in about 0.7 to 0.8 kPa.* More figures? Here come the crazyones👻!: pH 5.5; EC 4.2😨 but thats only drain from plant 3....... average was 6.1/3.6 The girls busy produce roots, shoots and leafs....... still very green, still not unhealthy.......few claws, no tipp-burn. Basically a comfortable place to be: It's not bad yet - no work but watering - and it can only get better!!!😁 *VPD issue solved: The sensor hung too close to a fanleaf - didn‘t expect this thing beeing so sensitive 😅. Day 24 Climbed new hights this morning: Plant 1 had an EC of 3.8 - the others didn't climb any higher than yesterday. So maybe we've reached the climax..... 😇 Visible growth now - so i installed the scrog-net and will start bending and weaving these days:-) Thoughts: Did beeing out of VPD-range for one day harm my plants? How exact can my sensor measure VPD? after a bit of research i found out: Whatever you buy for less than 200 bucks is far from beeing exact! Even professional sensors have a margin of about +/- 1% in relative humidity. Thermometers at least +/- 0.5 degrees C. This could give some a good guess of the actual VPD BUT: Leaf-temperature-offset is absolute key! Many of our trusted homegrow-equippment isn't even able to measure it (some offer default temp-offset) ....don't wanna go further here - but there's no way to achieve something like a precise VPD-measurement in homegrowing. So why caring for VPD? Even with those less accurate instruments, you may be able to keep your plants in something like a comfort-zone. Way better than only guessing 👆!!! In case i ran a much higher VPD than planned, yesterday (due to a missplaced sensor) , it will not harm or kill my plants. they might have had a bit of stress from dry air - but nothing to worry about! Day 24: Decreasing salt-levels in the drain - excepting plant 4, wich had an EC of 4.0 - so i guess i'm slowly draining exess-salts from top to bottom and might have collected some build-up. The girls seem to be quite okay. Root-growth is vigorous (there are thick, white roots penetrating through the pots, everywhere), the stems are relatively thin. removed the LST-lines. the Sc.r.o.g: only materiels needed, were a climbing-net for gardening (HDPE) cut to 90x90 for my 1x1 tent, 4 cable-ties and 2 meters of strong rubber-cord. Pre-installed the net with the cable-ties, then weaved the cord around the outter cords of the net, led it aroud the posts and pulled tight. Then brought the net into it's final position. Not as sturdy as with a wooden frame - but i had less than half the work and a bit of freedom to move things if necessary. Any shoot will now be put to the next outter square (relative to the center of each plant) as soon as can be held by the net, without harming the top. Once i moved all of the dominant colas to the next square, i'll have to take 10-15cm steps (vertical growth), to reach the next square. As soon as i have about 70 of my 81 squares filled, i'm going to flip to 12/12. Since i'm plannin' to have them full of sugar when flippin', i don't expect too much of a stretch. This way i hopefully have the longest and strongest shoots framing the shorter ones in the center - so the canopy shapes like a bowl, in order to achieve the most even light distribution possible. Day 25: The main colas visibly reached out for the light - but yet i only moved 1 single shoot to the next square. Girls look good, EC is dropping slowly, climate fine. The end of the fourth week. Only 2,5 to 3 weeks to go, since this is the FAST version of Gelato 33 by Advanced seeds. Last week temps were better, so that was a lot better to manage. The smell is a different story. We are trying to combat it as we speak with a double filter which my friend still had from a previous grow. The ladies are performing, however, because this is a monstercrop with many budsites, none of them will be very big. We anticipate a lot of cutting come harvest time. The stickieness and smell (cookies, dough, herbs, spices, gingerbread, vanilla) promise a lot to make up for that hopefully!! The middle plant that seemed to go fastest, now looks like to have the hardest time flowering. Her more advanced stage of flowering as a bigger clone, made it harder for her to return to veg, which she never really did. This seems to make her want to rush to the finish, as she is already browning the pistils. Also these buds seem more flakey, popcorny. As if the many flowers and grapelike bundled growth was too much for her. I put the light a little closer, to help her fatten up in the time she is given. I never expected the two 'runts' to outperform the mighty middle clone, but hey seem to fatten up and age much more nicely. So for now, prelimenary tip: make sure all your plants are completely revegged before flowering and consider that faster flowering species might have some ruderalis ancestry that might siderail all your lighting intentions and remains in flower what ever the growers lighting schedule. So with at least two more weeks for the two outer plants, and well see how many for the middle one, we are going to make them as comfortable as possible the final push of this flowering. Hello here we are now in flower! Start of the first week of flower and let me tell you we are ready!!!! I had so much fun training this plant! Ive decided im naming her patience cause shes definitely gave me a lot of patience learning, humbling me helping me thru some hard times I've had to go through. I'm blessed to grow and blessed to have the miss Guava Slushy - Green Bodhi Genetics. As far as the tent goes things have been dialed in! Recently got my humidity down to roughly 45, 50 % humidity. With a roughly temp 70s thru the day and 60s to high 50's in the Am. Im beyond proud of this plant! Lets go guava Slushy welcome to the Bloom! Getting ready to feed her bloom nutrients thru advanced nutrients connoisseur line! Ive been flushing her this last week with irrated water ph 6.30 shes looking well! Much love happy growing

Day 72: Welcome to week 11. Today I realized some more damaged leafs. I'm not sure, what it is. I've to ask here, now. But as I saw this and also, that the EC within the soil is increasing, I was thinking, that she is not able to consume the nutrients correctly. I checked my PH meter and I calibrated it wrong last week 🙈 So she got the wrong PH for about 2 days. I hope with the corrected PH, she is able to take the nutrients again. UPDATE: Thanks to everyone who answered my question. I have done 2 things now. I lowered the level of the LEDs to 7 in AC Infinity Controller 69 Pro to give less intensity to the upper colas. Secondly, I added some CalMag to the reservoir. I also added some distilled water to adjust the EC level and then checked the PH level. Day 73: For now, it does not look worse to me. I refilled the reservoir and adjusted the PH. I increased the CalMag Agent from 0.6 to 1.5 ml/L. Day 74: I checked again the symptoms and as I was feeding the PK booster to long, I strongly have to assume, that the CalMag issues she is showing, are the symptoms of too much PK for a too long time. I decided to clear the reservoir completely and added only a bit of CalMag to plain water and adjusted the PH. Day 75: Today I got a new and more reliable PH meter. It turned out, that the other one was still calibrated wrong and with that information, I assume it is a combination of the wrong PH for days and too much PK for too long. So, I'm happy, with my decision so far. Next time, I'll have to make a note, wenn to stop with the PK boosters ☺️ Learnings over learnings. Day 76: Today I was able to take some photos and also a video, to show how she looks now. Not too bad and I also checked the trichomes the first time today. It's looks like she is almost ready to harvest. I was aiming week 13 and with that tiny mistake, I guess she is ready someday next week (sorry, for the bad photo of the trichomes, I was not able to get a better one 🙈). I cleaned the reservoir and filled it with plain water @ 6.4. Day 77: End of the week and I want to share with you some buds of this monster. It's been a while, I know, but been too busy during this festives to keep the diary up... Damn spidermites! I've try to control them every day but it was too long in bloom to do something for this little creepers! I've decided to cut them and wash the buds as in a video made by Mr.Cervantes seen on youtube. I've mix 120ml of H2O2 in 10Lts of water, washed the buds for a couple of minute, rinse'em and then hanging for a couple of hours with a fan that gently blowin on them. So, mates, this journey has ended, I've learned a lot of things during this real first indoor grow, and this also thanks to you and your hint. 7/27/2023- Prep Tent and system are cleaned and ready to go from my last grow. I have submitted my Journa for the Diary of the Month Competition here is to hopeing for good resutls. 7/28/2023- Germination Day 0- Seed initiation Well lets get this new Grow started.. So My Dad Sent me a custom Landrace Strain that he wanted me to grow out and Breed for him. The Strain is Called Black African Magic: Black African Magic, Alson known as BAM, is a Sativa pure land race strain, It's classified under the Cannabis Sative species and its genetics come from Africa-the Ituri Forest in the Dmocratic Repoublic of Congo. The Effects are said to be Very Psychedelic, used for Stress managment and for better sleep and rest. This is my frist Land Race so we, will see how this goes together.. RO Water Used Added Hydrogen Peroxided 8/1/2023- Germination Achieved G-Day1 Popped her head above the root riot today to say hello.. Woot first challenge when dealing with an unknown seed and a new Strain is getting the seed to pop and the lady to show life. 8/2/2023- Germination Day 2 Took the root riot out today and it was soaked not good plant drowing again. I am still having a hard time finding the right blance for where the water should be to keep the root riot moist and not soaked. I had to drain some of the water out of the root riot plug to help give a little oxygen. I also removed some of the water. 8/3/2023- Germination Day 3 Looking good stretching her leaves out to let in the lights 8/4/2023- Germination Day 4 Looking good a few days until I put them into the RDWC System and get this thing rocking and rolling. 8/5/2023- Germinaiton Day 5 Looking good will probably plant tomorrow if the roots are still looking good. 8/6/2023- Plant Day- Germination Day 6 Planted into the RDWC System today. Joy when they go into the system as long as we dial that in right this will now be a great grow.. Survived the hard part.. 8/7/2023- Germination Day 7 Everything looks like it is going good, she is showing some damage on the lower leaves from the over watering in the cloning machine but right now I don't see any new damage. 8/8/2023- Germination Day 8 Added the first Nutes today, to help support root growth and to help give there first jump to growth. For the girl, I cut off the main flower, because for the first time, I felt like I couldn't do LST :D It's low, but branched - there will be many beautiful flowers :) I also removed the trailing leaves:) the plant looks pretty good:) good luck to everyone!!!
