The first 7 days were good the plant is growing nicely. She just got fed for the first time with Goldleaf feterlizer. I had to raise the light higher because she is a little sensitive to the light.

Light schedule was switched to 12/12 it's been a week now and pistils and starting to show on main cola. *I trimmed the fan leaves and bud sites on the very bottom of the plants on each branch. I took a few cuttings 😊 However I did not trim the top halfs of the bottom branches because they are somewhat even with the main tops now. * The cuttings I took were put in zip lock bags in the crisper drawer of the fridge and will be rooted around harvest time (this is an experiment) I'm trying to keep the cuttings in stasis to avoid wasting space and more money on a mother tent. * I moved my lights farther up and dimmed them so they can stretch a little. I will turn them back up when there is adequate bud development. That's all for now.

They're ready to flip already, if I take another week they'll probably get too big to handle. I flipped the switch right at the last day of this week. The growth is coming now. I'll probably have to add another trellis to support flowering.

Watergift: Geen. 1-7 Vandaag heb ik de trichomen opnieuw bekeken en die zien er goed uit! Veel cloudy en best wel wat amber. Ik hou echt van deze trichome foto's, echt mind blowing hoe dat er uit ziet! Dus vandaag gaat de schaar er in! 2-7 Ik heb besloten om een wet trim te doen zodat als ze droog is ze gelijk in de cure pot kan. Geloof het of niet, maar ik ben wel 12 uur lang bezig geweest om alles te knippen 😅 Op 1-7 ben ik in de middag begonnen en in de vroege ochtend van 2-7 was ik klaar. Het natte gewicht van de buds is 283 gram, en het natte gewicht van de trim is 61 gram. Ik ben nu al super tevreden met het gewicht! Dit is meer dan het dubbele aan gewicht vergeleken met mijn eerste grow. De buds zien er ook echt mooi uit. Ik schat dat het tussen de 50 en 75 gram droog gaat zijn. Ik ben benieuwd, nu een paar dagen drogen! Wel heb ik iets te lang gewacht want de LV in de jar geeft nu 57% aan. Ik hoop dat dit over een dag wat om hoog gaat. Nu een paar weken curen en dan kom ik met de rook verslag 😁 Ik zal binnenkort ook even berekenen wat de gram per watt is, aangezien ik de lamp niet de gehele grow op 100% had staan. Het droge gewicht van de buds is precies 75 gram, en het droge gewicht van de trim is 19 gram. Samen maakt dat 94 gram! (De trim gebruik ik om een CBD cake of bubble hasj te maken) Ik wil iedereen bedanken voor het volgen van dit avontuur! Tot de volgende keer!

Hi meine Garten Freunde ich hoffe Ihr hattet eine sonnige Woche. Die Pflanzen haben jetzt die 11 Blüte Woche hinter sich gebracht, und somit kommen wir dem Ende immer näher. Jeden zweiten Tag schau ich nach den Trichomen, und ich muss sagen das die Köpfe sehr reif aussehen. Ich gebe den Pflanzen maximal eine Woche dann können sie geköpft werden. Seit Anfang dieser Woche gebe ich schon gar keine Nährstoffe zum gießwasser. Ich hoffe das die n diesen Pflanzen nicht soviele seeds zu finden sind, ich gehe aber davon aus das in der einen oder anderen ein paar vorhanden sein wird. Ich habe vor ein paar Tagen zwei Super Silver Haze Pflanzen geerntet und die waren förmlich verseucht mit Seeds. Ich muss aber gestehen das diese direkt neben den zwittrigen Pflanzen standen, und somit am meisten abbekommen haben. Ich habe nicht komplett mitgezählt haber es müssen um die 400-500 Seeds sein. Ich hoffe das die Pflanzen die ich jetzt noch habe größtenteils verschont geblieben sind. Ich danke euch fürs vorbeischauen. Wie immer könnt ihr gerne ein Like da lassen und mir folgen. Been a few weeks, growth is moving along smoothly. Been tying down all the taller tops and I watered them with some compost tea. In a few weeks, I’ll be transplanting them one last time and will be flipping to flower a week after transplanting. So 3 weeks from now I’ll be transitioning to flower. Until next update ✊🏾

Aug 24: cool and rainy lately but will warm up again in a couple days. Gorilla Cookies looks really good and is flowering nicely. Very nice strain. Added some soluble seaweed to the water mostly for the K. Don’t take flash pics of photoperiods unless you’re immediately using a 730 nm light to put them into dark mode. Using the far red light like this is known as phyto-forcing and it’s like getting an extra two hours of darkness making a 26 h day. This far north I think it moves flowering up by 3-4 weeks so obviously a huge trick. Easy and cheap if you have daily access at dusk. Aug 26: it’s been a couple of weeks but I figured it was time for a lazy compost tea. I watered with it slightly diluted and the plants look almost immediately greener and more vigorous…amazing actually. 👍👍 Aug 27: this is definitely the fastest flowering of the four. Hopefully it stays sunny for a few more weeks. Thinned out the understory a bit as there were some small branches and bud sites that were not going to do anything. Check out the birds sounds on the first video. The magpies thought I was too close to their nest in the tree or something…they’re usually not quite that annoying. Aug 29: this is a great strain, and the manifold is working its magic.

Day 80, 22nd of October 2020: 3rd week of flowering! Happiness she needs a lot of boost hard to keep up. She loves fertilization too much..... I mean before always craving for nitrogen now qould need more potassium and phosphorus hard to keep up. I also detect deficiency based on the leaves getting lighter and brown spots but I do feed her as much as I can really. This week i have relised the first nice trichomes started "sitting" on the leaves as well and the pistils coming out nicely pre flowers forming. Let's go.

Flowering nicely now. Not drinking a ton of water but I attribute that to lower temps lately.

i accidently bought some unbuffered coco and mixed it with my ussual earth, had major calmag problems in mid-flower but i´m still pleased with the results...also had a little trouble with mold at the end due to bad weather and high humidity in the final weeks of the grow, had to remove a few buds and harvest early @ day 55 of flower....but there's still alot of great looking buds left for me to enjoy and all look mostly done... Just harvested and hung them upside down, currently drying them at constant 19.5-20.5°C and 50-60% RH..will update as soon as they are dry

Hope everyone had a great Christmas!!! We have had some crazy cold weather here the last 4 days and for the first time in 13 years had snow on Christmas day. So with the cold and snow came grow room issues. My grow space is outside and not attached to the house so maintaining a proper temperature and humidity has been a bit on the difficult side. Even with the lights running 24 hours, it's had a few drops down to 19c and the humidity has gone up to 68% a few times. Now luckly I'm still in veg and the humidity isn't a issue yet but the temperature has been making me worried. Going to put togther a heater with its own temperature switch increase it drops below 20c. Did some training over the last week with some LST and FIMing. With the LST every 3nd day I've been adjusting them and pulling the plants back a bit more and more. Since I don't think I'll be able to set up a SCRog net this go around (spent to much for Christmas and wont be able to affordthe PVC tubing) ive got to figure out something else and fast. Plants are getting big and it's going to get hard to bend then properly without braking stuff. Because I was showing some issues with 2 of my plants I started adding a bit of Revive to my res to see if they get better and they have. But because of the cold that's been hitting us my tank has had a hard time staying warm. Even with my 50w tank heater it's been fighting a up hill battle because the area outside the main room where the tank is, has been sitting around 14-17c. So with that the air pump I use to circulate the tank, it is pulling in cold air and thats been fighting the tank heater in getting it up to what I like it at. I tried using my water pump instead of the air pump for circulation and the res went up to 25.6c soooo I would much rather have 19c res then water that could kill my plants. So let's talk about the plants themselves. Both Special Queen plants are doing great but as you can see from the picture, one is doing absolutely amazing. Great growth (understatement) and has bounced back from training like a pro. The other plant is still doing really good when compared to all the other plants in the room but still could be a little bit better. Depending on what I'm going to do for supporting the plants this might be the last week of veg. Well see. So this plant was doing great and then about 2 days ago I started to notice issues. Almost looks like leaf rust or a Ph problem but ive tried my best to keep them correct and I'm hopping that like my Ripper badazz plants that they well just grow out of it. Doing a big clean up today in the room so I'm going to keep my eyes open for any pests just incase that's the issue but fingers crossed it isn't. Well that's everything for now. Son 2 plantas de esta genetica. Una es mas vigorosa que ptra, pero son muy similares en cuanto a su fenotipo. En esta semana ya notamos el engorde que se viene propiciando luego del overdrive. Tratamos de a poco ir bajando la EC para llegar 0.0 en el corte. La luz sigue baja procurando mantener una buena seleccion de terpenos y resina.

Last week was budtastic! Really starting to see a lot of bud sites starting to pack it on, except 1 of the 4 plants, the largest seems to be at least a week behind in development. These are early version seeds and are supposed to be a 45 day flower. I’m not seeing that in any of the 4 cases, I’m guessing we are gonna push at least 60 days on them. But the one that’s the biggest and behind a week may not have gotten the early flowering gene I’m guessing. Just a normal Delicious Candy maybe? hope not cause it’s getting cut down with the rest regardless to make way for new ones! lol can’t be messing up my rotation for 1 plant. I’ll use it for my rosin press maybe and see what it does. I tried hitting them with my light turned up full at 1000w for a few hours but they didn’t seem to like it, stared to see left tips curl up not to long after. I refreshed the reservoir with new water and lowered the Ec to about 1.0 as I want them to begin to start their flush, I think we will see what the tricombs look like at the end of the week. There are no signs of any amber yet but lots are cloudy, and I will probably be pulling them around 20% amber as I like the THC high more. anyways that’s it, Day 42 and all is good so far. Cheers! 💨

Today 7/30/19, day 57 and the start of week 9. I'm still continuing to alternate between days with my pesticide treatment (especially after finding that bug living on one of hulkberries fan leaf) and thrive alive green daily foliage spray as a prophylactic solution against any possible pests or mold going into these last few dog days of veg. I will flush them with distilled ph'd water for two days this weekend in preparation for flower. Then I'll start them on some "flower fuel" bloom booster on top of my secret for success flower recipe at 1/4 of the recommended strength. Outside of that still no adverse issue to report for the end of the 8th week. After my last trim, they both have responded very nicely, I was kind of worried about fat banana stalled growth. But one thing I noticed when I topped her at the 6th node, yes the main stem stopped growing but it developed many bud sites up and down every stem. Whereas hulkberry was topped at the 8th node, she has mainly focused on developing long stems and only 2 or 3 bud sites along her stems. Even though hulkberry in structure, is much bigger than fat banana and has a way bigger root system. Fat banana is bushier and has developed way more bud sites than hulkberry. I can't tell which strain will yield the most at this point only time will tell! Also, a big shout out to "J"@RQS, thank you for the excellent customer service. Another reason why Royal Queen Seeds is top 3 in breeding!!
