Groeiverslag: Purple Mints (Paradise Seeds)
Week 1 bloei (dag 35-42 vanaf ontkiemen, eerste week na switch naar 12/12)
Totaal week: ~week 5 vanaf zaad
Opstelling: 3 Γ 11 liter stoffen potten, Biobizz Light-Mix, BestVA 415W LED (op ~40-45 cm hoogte, 12/12 schema, dimmer op ~70-80% voor bloei-start), EC 1,4-1,6, pH 6,2-6,5, temperatuur 24-26Β°C dag / 19-21Β°C nacht, RV 45-55%
Algemene groei & stretch
Hoogte: 38-44 cm vanaf de grond (gemiddeld ~41 cm, +9 cm sinds week 4)
Aantal knoppen: 8-10 sets + top per plant
Stamdikte: 11-13 mm
Rek: Minimaal tot matig (~25-35% groei), zoals verwacht bij deze indica-dominante Purple Mints (75% indica). De planten blijven compact en bossig β geen wilde stretch, perfect voor de 11L potten en versterkte LST-structuur.
Kleur: Diep donkergroen, met bij twee planten nu duidelijk paarse gloed op bladstelen en nieuw blad (anthocyanine slaat door door de bloeiswitch + koelere nachten). De derde plant blijft nog grotendeels groen, maar toont wel paarse hints op de onderkantjes.
Bloemontwikkeling (week 1 bloei)
Pre-flowers ontwikkelen zich snel: kleine witte stampers exploderen bij alle knooppunten, knoppen beginnen te vormen (calyxen zwellen op). Nog geen echte knoppen, maar de sites worden beschadigd en hariger. Geur intenser: zoete munt + fruitige (aardbei/banaan) ondertoon, met een lichte prikkelende/skunky hint β typisch Purple Mints die al ruikt als je erlangs loopt.
Bladontwikkeling
Bladeren gezond en donkergroen, suikerblaadjes groeien mee en worden plakkerig. Geen tekorten, geen verbranding of gele randen β fanbladeren blijven strak. Nieuwe groei focust nu op bloemvorming op plaats van hoogte.
Wortelontwikkeling
Wortels nog actief in de 11L potten, maar groei vertraagt ββlicht nu in bloei. Witte wortels vullen de pot goed, drainagegaten tonen gezonde activiteit. Geen stress β de grotere potten helpen bij de voedingshongerige fase.
Water & voeding deze week
4-5x bewaterd met 1,8-2,2 liter per plant (25-30% aangepast aan hogere drinkbehoefte in bloei)
Hesi bloei-schema gestart:
β Hesi Bloom Complex 5 ml/L
β Hesi Boost 2 ml/L (2x per week)
β Hesi PowerZyme 2 ml/L
β Hesi SuperVit 1 druppel/10L
EC: 1.5-1.6, pH bijgesteld naar 6.3
Plant drinkt meer sinds de overstap; geen overvoedingssignalen β alles opgenomen en strak.
Training / vorming
LST/scrog-net aangespannen: alle hoofdtakken (7-9 per plant) op gelijke hoogte gehouden. Met minimale stretch is de kroon mooi plat en vaak gevuld β ideale lichtpenetratie onder de BestVA 415W (volledig spectrum, Samsung LM301B diodes). Geen nieuwe training meer; alleen bijsturen als nodig.
Samenvatting week 1 bloei
De overstap naar 12/12 verliep perfect β minimale rek, snelle stamperontwikkeling en vroege geurboost bij alle drie de planten. De Purple Mints-genetica schittert al: compacte structuur, kleurvariatie en voedingshonger die goed wordt opgevangen door Hesi Bloom + Boost en de 11L potten.
De BestVA 415W (gedimd maar krachtig) dekt het trio uitstekend in ~120x120 cm gebied. Verwacht in week 2-3 bloei gevormde toppen en meer trichomen. Nog ~7-8 weken tot oogst (totaal 55-60 dagen bloei).
Dit trio wordt vet β drie compacte, kleurrijke beestjes onder goed licht!

My girls are in their expressive beauty phase. Multi colored pistils, light green calyxes swelling, and frost showing on the sugar leaves. The heat has some minor foxtail effects. I added a second level of netting for support.

Con el hit de calor en el que estamos, lo aprovecharΓ© para preparar un input KNF, el FFJ de cherries, beetroot y damascos para entregarle el potasio que necesita para estas ΓΊltimas semanas.

Day 92. Girls will get 30 Yoyos and will be watered later. Still can't make my mind :
A. Defoliate next watering
B. Defoliate light and clear bottoms, too many airy buds, not enough light at bottom level.
C. Just leave them alone, they know what they are doing ;)))
All look too good, light are too close and i don't need any stress, but i want solid buds, still see chances in all ways and will make my decision during this week.
Day 92. Late evening. Time has come, cleared some worthless bottoms mostly from Blue Dreams, installed 26 YoYos, took like 50-60 Top fan leaves to open secondary crown and thats last training.
Notice : if you ever buy YoYos, theirs line is very important, mine is soft, but still thin like fishing line, cotton rope would be 10 times better.
Day 95. Girls got feed, think to push one more feed and then start only water them till the end.
Missing light a lot, too tall girls for my setup, but i am still more than happy !!!
Think 3 weeks left till the end of journey !
Mini Runtz has nice structure as a plant and bud, next to him under fresh outside air ( cold now most of the time ) is Frosty Runtz, very potent and i think earliest finishing plant with other Frosty NoColour Asia Kalini. Other two Runtz are missing light, but are heavier producers too , so bud development could take longer.
Two Asia Kalini, who show colour, look like twins, stacking very nice and frost is good.
All Blue Dreams miss light and proper distance from light, top buds will be most airy buds on all plant, but i just ran out of space with those giants ;)))

Easy grow. Trim was not too bad. I had many laffy buds in the bottom. Next time I need to lilipop more.

The plant was freshly defoliated this week, opening up the canopy and exposing all major bud sites to better light and airflow.
Stretch is nearly finished and the structure looks very even, with strong, upright branches and well-spaced internodes.
Early purple coloration is already visible in the calyxes, confirming a nice expression of the Banana Purple Punch genetics.
Overall the plant looks healthy, stress-free, and ready to start stacking buds over the next weeks.

She's hitting flower so not much more growth after the burst. Fingers crossed she gets a bit more height.
No need to top her so letting her run free. Started voodoo juice two feedings ago.

Very interesting week now. the buds start to swell up here, as u can see the stem is insane lol this is a freakin autoflower wtf the yield will be insane. shes drinking 3 liters every 2 days with 1ml/l greens sensation 1ml/l calmag and 1000ppm basic nutrient (4-6-6) Npk
all under 1 400watt HPS bulb.

Harvested choc 5, not a great washer based off what I got from the trim and larf, all the big buds are drying, took a whole rack on the vcure.

First week flower have moved them inside under the marshyrdo had to stuff them in there cause I had so many but I have loollipopped them all to make sure I have good air flow at the base topped a few aswell to compare them to u topped ones will be fun to see what works better

This cut is from when I topped the mother. I put the top into a diy dwc bubble cloner. Took 6 days to see root nubs. After 8 days there was enough roots to plant the cutting. I planted the cutting in a 1 gallon fabric pot. Filled up the pot with sunshine mix #4. I preventative moistened the medium to avoid compaction and damage to the fresh and fragile new root system.
After just under a week of settling in to the medium. I had my first signs of new growth. Marking the first day of veg and the start of this diary. I also gently and very gradually bent her back and tied her down. Lst will be utilized through out this whole grow to get a full even canopy. Looking forward to it.
