This was another hot, hot week with a big rainstorm. Take a look at the measuring cup, it is full of rainwater. Gorilla Cookies continues to smell and is very sticky. It is a tall and lanky plant but look at the heavy buds weighing down the stems. It should be ready to take down in a couple of weeks. Half way through this grow, I had to stop using Miracle Grow and change my grow plan. I decide to use Advance Nutrients Jungle Juice for the rest of the grow. Jungle Juice’s selling point is that it is the only nutrient that I should need during the entire grow. One just need to make the solution stronger as the plant matures. The directions say to “stir vigorously” and that is true. It is very clumpy and I had to stir and shake the bottle a lot. As your plant is in veg and growing larger, directions say to up your Jungle Juice to 4 ml per liter. If my calculations are correct, I am using approx. 5 tablespoons per 5 gallon bucket. 1 gal is 3.78 liters 5 gallons=18.92 liters 4ml jungle juice per liter x 18.92 liters= 75.7 ml which is = to 5.119 tablespoons per 5 gallon bucket of water As the end of the summer is quickly approaching, I have spent some time reflecting this week on all of the contests that I have entered and not won this summer. It can be a little frustrating because of all the time I have spent taking pictures and writing commentary. But, instead of it getting me down, I have to think about all of the positive take aways and I want to share them on this platform. I have read a lot of diaries and now know why I am just an apprentice. I have a lot to learn from all of you. There are some really good growers with a lot of experience and crazy grow techniques. So much knowledge is on this platform-it’s mind boggling. To be a great grower, you must be willing to be vulnerable and put yourself out there and try different suggestions and new techniques. I have made a few friend that I enjoy chatting with. I enjoy reading comments versus just seeing likes. My best friend on grow diaries is @Natrona and my neighbor as well. She has been growing longer than I have been so I routinely learn from her. This summer I learned to mix 1 cup of Perlite into my soil. I can see where my plants need the air flow. And, I now I only defoliate fan leaves that absolutely need to be gone. I let the fan leaves stay on until they fall off. I want my buds to pull all the nutrients they can out of the fan leaves. I also bought 2 new tools that @natrona suggested. The first was a water PH tester and the second was my Max-ee Magnifier which is informative and fun to use. Day 36 Moby Dick it's at 28inches in height and Blue amnesia is at 32. and because the smell has become too strong to contain in the tent I turn on the carbon filter fan 24/7 instead of intervals of every 2 hours on for 30 minutes so now my tent it's not so hot and my plans drink less water every 3-days. I will keep updating . day 38 the plants are stretching very fast I'm forced to raise the light everyday the blue amnesia is 39 in tall and the Moby Dick it at 32 inches tall I resumed regular feeding schedules on the plants and they seem to be growing even faster after each watering. Thank you for reading and have a happy grow. Day 42 They continue stretching pretty fast blue amnesia it's at 42 inches and Moby Dick it's at 33 3/4 inches. I only have noticed some lower fan leaves turning yellow and drying up I'm going to stop nutrients for the next one to watering sections because I think I've been pushing the plant too hard but it could be normal I just don't know. I posted two Fan leaf pictures to see if somebody has an idea what it could be but I think is probably too much nutrients I will continue updating thank you for reading happy growing. Day 44 definitely the issue is my fault pushing it too hard. They have nitrogen toxicity they have all the symptoms the claw leaf the weakness of the leave the yellowing and purple color of some branches the Deep shiny green on the leaf. the fact that I've been pushing that pretty hard I already have water them twice with clean water ph 6.0 hoping to use up all the extra in the pot and I will do it one more time from two days from now and then trying new nutrients at 1/3 full strength. .they seem to be responding well but if they start losing to many leafs i well flosh them in the shawer. Day 46 because I saw my plans going downhill pretty quick I decide to test Runner run-off it was incredibly High / 4000 + PPM so yeah to the showers they went until runoff was 1000 or below PH was at 6.2 and for the next watering in 3 days from now approximately depending on temperature and thirst of the plans I will resume flowering nutrients only and maybe only at 600 PPM the plant took a beating as well since I have to remove the scrog net and they were being support only buy it but I had no choice it was to see then die and then start over again or giving a flush so they can recuperate and take it slow for a few days until they can handle more nutrients. My hands end up being very sticky handling the buds even though I did it as gently as humanly possible so they were packed with sticki Racine even though they were stressed out what incredibly robust genetics. Day 48 the plants seems to be bouncing back they lost a lot of fan leaf at the bottom and some of the ones that were turning yellow at the top develop marks . One off the blue amnesia was more affected than the other three plants I will probably hold nutrients for it only for this plant. They stop stretching as much the blue amnesia are measures 44 inches and the Moby Dick is at 40 inch after the flush the buds are getting fatter and bigger every day . thank you for reading and have a happy growing

Tras acabar la segunda semana de floración así se presentan las pequeñas. Hemos ido defoliando alguna hoja de la parte baja de la planta, aireando un poco a las niñas por la zona baja . Las plantas ya empiezan a mostrar sus primeras bolitas y empezamos a añadir en la solución top Candy y pk13-14 para ver engordar esas bolitas💚.

All is good. Plant is starting to turn yellow and the trichomes are getting cloudy. I think I have another 2 weeks until time to chop. Very excited with this one.

23.2.25: I watered with approximately 1.5 ltrs per plant. I mix 6.5ltrs of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.4. This time, I only added Ecothrive Biosys to the water because I have just top dressed the soil. Adding anything extra right now would probably be overkill and result in toxicity from too many available nutrients. I defoliated minimally mostly Do-sì-dos, Watermelon, and Pink Mist. Due to the scrog net, it's about all I can reach 😅 I've moved the plants to increase space for Gorilla Cookies 🍪 and Bubble

She is the shortest one, healthy but short - just her genetics. 💚💜 my Blueberry strains. I have both a Blueberry & Blueberry OG in, I'm excited for both.

I will be focusing this diary on the smoothie strain but you’ll be seeing some other plants in the tent that are not the same strain. I only have room in this tent so bare with me. There are 2 Smoothie, 1 CNC, and 1 Stardawg (dog). The smoothie are the two bigger ones in the back of the tent. Now, the Smoothie from FastBuds is just killin it right now. Since I popped the beans they have done nothing but show signs of greatness. I don’t think this one is gonna slow down much either. I’m going to push these plants harder than my last harvest. I had a really really amazing harvest last time. I was even able to pull sap out of all 4 plants. 2 Zkittles and 2 LSD-25. This was all done by feeding at the right times and keeping a “moist” soil. Also I want add that I ran pretty much the entire line of Nectar for the Gods at a little less then the recommended ratios. This time I plan on going a tiny bit over the recommended ratios just to see what these plants will do. Trust me, if the plants have a bad response I will go back to the recommended ratios. The reason I want to do this is because I really think these auto strains can handle a lot more than a regular flowering cycle plant would. They can handle more stress, that’s for sure. When do you think I should add a compost tea into my regimen? Soon or wait till the plant is a little larger?

I went in scared that I would screw this up and waste money. I kept learning and fell kore and kore in love with it. Now I’m building a room and already growing 7 plants moving to 20 🙏🏼😝

Triste día hoy, luego de regar y hacer el seguimiento de las feminizadas continúe con la flora.... Fancy ok, colombian ok.... Y al salir afuera me encuentro con la triste noticia de que me robaron la planta de exterior. Esto es algo que estaba dentro de las posibilidades pero no me lo imaginaba tan pronto (planta a mitad de floro sin tricomar). está plaga llamada humano solo demuestra su estupidez al cortar en el tallo una planta sin tricomas. Pero esto es así, ahora queda mejorar, meter más seguridad y darle para adelante, cómo siempre 💪
