Hey guys . My cutting heating broke 3-4 weeks ago, which was fixed immediately and everything went wonderfully. Now, 3 days ago, the central heating broke down in the entire room, so that at night I only have temperatures of around 13 degrees :-( . One or the other lady is slowly starting to see a phosphorus blockage, as this can no longer be absorbed at temperatures below 15 degrees, like many other nutrients :-( . A friend looked at the heating yesterday and came to the conclusion that a real company had to do it, which is by no means possible for a stranger to enter my room. I quickly ordered heating mats for all the boxes so that the ladies could at least get warm feet. That's all I have this winter full can do . Let's hope everything will be fine 🙏🏻. As soon as the heating mats are attached in the coming days, I will post them in the pictures. Now for the update. Despite the severe cold, the ladies are still doing well and have made good progres . The ladies only had to be watered once this week, each time with 1 l, because it absorbs the water very slowly because of the cold and I don't want to overwater it. I took every single plant in the pot to take a close look at their roots. These are snow white and look very healthy 🙏🏻. It was also the last time neem oil sprayed so that the last trips are finally gone. Otherwise everything was checked and a lot of planning was done, like I do with the heating mats. Since a friend had the same problem in one winter and the heating mats got 10 degrees plus on the pots, I am very confident that it will at least bring something for the last cold month 😃 🙏🏻. FBA2502 Week 3 April 13-19 Veg 2 This week I introduced nutrients to the watering schedule. My planned feed schedule will be to feed, feed, water each week until the time to flush. , adjusting nutrients per the growth cycle. Hopefully this will keep from overfeeding and reduce salt build up in the soil. Nutrients: I will be using General Hydroponics Flora line at ½ feed rate and Cal mag throughout this grow. My tap water measures 8.3-8.5 so even after adding nutrients, I have to PH down my feed solution. Regarding nutrients, I’ve tried Fox Farm, TPS1, Plagron and now General Hydroponics. What I am looking for is organic, ease of use, minimal individual bottles that will yield large, dense sticky buds that hit hard in effect. Plants range in height from 5-7” except #1 which has been pinned to the soil. I will try wrapping her around the perimeter of the pot. Since she leaned over, I pinned her down and have been anchoring along the rim, twisting the stem so the node is on the side or top rather than underneath. I don’t think she likes training since the stems are a bit floppy. They are all still in veg, bushy with large indica leaves. I’ve been tucking the large leaves under the bud sites to give more light under the canopy. I’m tempted to top one of the bigger plants to have a comparison on resistance and final yield. This week I made a short video for each 2502 tester and a pic or 2. GH Flora Micro ½ tsp /gal Gro ½ tsp /gal Bloom ½ tsp /gal Fox CalMag ½ tsp /gal PPM 573 & 715 when I added Plagrons Royal Rush 4ml. End of Week 4, Defoliated and more training, first feed at 378 ppm. Humidity is high so added the dehumidifier. Hoping for another week of veg before flower but some are looking ready to go. Just started another journal with Papaya Cookies and Pound Cake.

Week 4 Topped plus applied some LST training Seems like Pheno 1 has better structure and growing alot faster Pheno 2 started to slow slight fade on the lower leaves But lets push her through!

Week 2 of flower is in the books and all 3 girls are looking extremely healthy. Perfect time to start packing on the weight. There are tons if bud sites that will get tons of light due to all the defoliation I've done. I've never defiliated plants this much before and I'm curious to see the difference in bud production below the canopy level. I love trying new things and experimenting with these plants. Always coming up with new ideas on how to do things and making things easier along the way. Can't wait to see how much I'll get off all 3 and see the difference in phenotypes.

The girls have survived another week ❤️ I did a light defoliation and have been monitoring the RH closely. We have had a very damp week here, and the RH kept climbing and had my fan working hard. They are starting to plump up and fill in 😋. They have also started to slow their drinking habits, instead of watering every three days, it has moved to every 4 now. Just a couple of weeks left, I think I will be harvesting these over Christmas 🎄, and will have some great bud ready for the new year! 🎉🎊🍾

I’m a few days late with my entry because I was busy in the other tent finishing up with a project. The express is going along nicely. I duped the nutrients and ran a few days of florakleen to run a test and see if stripping the salts and removing the nutrient bond as advertised makes a difference. She has a big beautiful stall and all her branches are supported nicely.

BLOOMING. I switched the light schedule to 12-12. They seem to be responding well to it.

February 14, 2019 update: I rearranged the plants to get better airflow. In the video I mentioned that I thought I saw what might be spider mites. After closer inspection, I don't think its spider mites but more likely a combination of left over damage from the fungus gnats that came in with my wife's plant a few weeks ago (now gone) as well as ph fluctuations. But I like getting airflow on the plants themselves anyway, I just wish the oscillation worked on the fan I have now. I'll buy a new fan or two with oscillation soon. Also I failed to mention it in the video but there is also a ceiling fan blowing down on the plants. Overall, I'm very happy. The DinaMed CBD+ has taken the lead in the bud development category, Nice fat buds that are very dense. Sticky and stinky as hell too. She is supposed to be somewhere in the teens for CBD percentage and less than 1% THC. I'm hoping she either comes in below 0.3% or has well over 1%. I'm allowed to submit for testing 3 weeks before harvest. I'm going to cut a mid level branch and submit for testing next weekend. My other DinaFem strain, Critical +, is doing great too! She's in the lead with the most trichome development. Her buds are coming along great also! Not super fat, at least not yet, but great shape, color, density and have I mentioned the trichome development yet? 👍 This one is supposed to have mild CBD, low single digits, but high THC. I'm looking forward to smoking this one! Next up I'll talk about my Cream & Cheese CBD+ from Seedsman. She's in the lead with just overall looking awesome!!! The buds are long and super healthy looking with tons of leaves along the branches and I've defoliated a few times. The remaining leaves don't seem to be blocking much because most branches are bent over due to the weight of the buds! She is supposed to be in the 20's with BOTH THC and CBD. I'm looking forward to smoking this one also! 💪 That leaves the 3 Cherry Hemp plants. They are the smallest 3 plants in the room, but are all looking very good as well. They look like they are in the lead with possibly being ready to harvest earliest. I'm seeing the most amount of darkened and curled in hairs on these 3. The largest/oldest of the 3 is starting to show fading on the leaves. She may be ready in the next week or two. I'm waiting to start seeing some amber trichomes, so far they are still all white. These are supposed to be around 16% CBD and less than 0.3% THC. I'll be taking these in for testing soon and will be using these strictly for making CBD products - Salves, Oils, Capsules, etc... I'll keep you posted on this. This week I fed MegaCrop and Cal-Mag Pro (both by Greenleaf Nutrients). I fed according to their feeding schedule for late bloom. I think I'm going to stick with Greenleaf Nutrients for the duration of this grow rather than changing it up as I have been. Its super easy stuff to work with. 👍
