Another great week for Hokuzan. The buds are noticeably thicker now, and resin production has gone into overdrive. Trichomes are covering nearly every surface, giving the flowers and sugar leaves an incredible frosted look. More pistils are starting to turn orange while fresh white ones continue to appear, showing that the flowers are still developing and packing on weight. The calyxes are swelling nicely, and the buds are becoming denser with each passing day. The aroma is getting stronger and more complex, filling the grow space with a rich terpene profile that becomes more noticeable every time the tent is opened. Plant health remains excellent, with strong structure, vibrant colors, and impressive resin coverage across the entire canopy. The next stage will be all about ripening, resin maturation, and bringing out the full potential of this cultivar as harvest gets closer. Nothing super exciting going on. I'm thinking she's going to probably go like 10 weeks total. Not much pistil color changes yet

This week has been a little better. Recovering from the ph and phosphorus deficiency issues. New growth has been a little better. Finally got rid of the crispy leaves from the deficiencies. I knew I was getting into a tough one with 200 ml of dirt. I just wanted to see what happened. I have learned a lot on this one. Buds are getting a little bigger each day. Día 16. Ayer en el cambio de solución me olvidé la bomba desenchufada y las plantas estuvieron medio caidas hoy. Me di cuenta a tiempo y solamente tuve que sacar 6 hojas grandes que sufrieron mucho y cayeron. Luego prendí la bomba continua, bajé .un poco la intensidad de luz, y en un par de horas las plantas ya estaban mucho mejor. Esta semana agregué big bud de advance y reduje a la mitad el bud blood. Compré un medidor de ph y TDS, pero tengo que comprar baterías. Hasta ahora navego en ciego confiando en feeding y la verdad que no me ha fallado. Hice un LST para ocupar mejor el lugar, exponer más otras ramas y emparejar la altura de las plantas. Las flores han empezado a aparecer y parecen de un tamaño respetable. Día 19. Las plantas se adaptaron muy bien al LST. Ya están empezando a formarse las flores. Por suerte las veo muy bien y estoy contento con cómo vienen. El haber defoliado bastante hizo que las plantas tomen menos agua y ahora el depósito de 20 litros me alcanza bien. Estoy muy ansioso, pero siento que va pasando muy rápido el tiempo.

Buenas! Esta semana pasaron cosas, agregamos red scrog para luego inducir la flora. Ya pasamos 12/12 pero me gusta darle una semanita de pre-flora. Seguimos con IPW de athena de forma foliar para prevenir todo tipo de plagas y enfermedades, una vez x semana. Una de las que viene mas grande le hice un supercropping para bajar el canopy. Vienen como locasss. Ultimo riego con Sensi Grow y ahora pasamos a sensi Bloom. Saludos

Day 105. I do not have enough experience to tell if that is a long time to finish for an autoflower. 2 Days ago I added 8 liters of water pH'd at 5.9. I'm also curious of anyone knows if this strain produces amber colored thrichomes. I've read some stuff on the internet that certain strains produce almost none at all. I can't tell of people are telling the truth or I just should have more patience and wait for them to show up. The close-up pictures you see are from day 105. Almost all her sugar leafs are yellowish or completely yellow btw. I forgot to make recent pics of the cola's. I'll add some of day 103. On a sidenote, by the looks of it, the buds are still gaining some nice mass and density. The runoff had an us/cm of 4500... Like I said before, my meter must be broken, right? After 48 hours of flushing I'll just change the water for pH'd at 5.9. Does anyone know what kind of bugs are in the runoff? The video is of the water that came out of the bucket. I've seen them before for did not capture them. Well I went and named all the girls after rock and roll songs with their name in the title. see if you can guess all 6 artists 😁 A few are taking off some are still putt sing along, one looks like a Nutrient lock out (N) it looks a little yellow. #3 and #6 are under a different mfg. light and I think that is what is shifting the color. When they are under white light they do not look as bad I gave them there first mid sized meal today 2/15/19 850 ppm @ 5.8 ph the runoff is pretty high 6.8 so tomorrow ill water the runoff I collected in the saucers and ph'ed it 5.5 and re-water ea. with an equal portion of that mix. I have a tripod now for the camera and the time-lapse should be more stable and less jumpy. Ill post some pics from the start of the week and the end. Cheers

Been researching more on compost teas and with about week before the flip to flower, think it’s time to brew up some compost tea! --- Using the TeaLab brewing rig to bubble and mix the stew! --- Going to attempt to brew a fungal dominant tea using a modified compost tea recipe from Dr. Elaine Ingham. --- Unlike most compost teas, her recipe lacks molasses and sugars which promotes a more fungal dominant brew instead of anaerobic bacterial microbes. --- Okay let's start brewing! --- Assembled and installed the TeaLab brewing rig into a 5-gallon bucket and secured the unit using a garden support wire. --- Have a few empty buckets under the main brew bucket for insulation. Not really needed (pretty warm in the lung room), but why not. --- If the pump ever fails, to prevent flood-backs, made sure to place the unit above the water level and resting above the brew bucket. - [10:37]: Filled the 5-gallon bucket with 1-gallon of RO water. --- Plugging the pump in to start the bubbling! --- Have to say that the unit is a bit louder than anticipated, but wow the bubbles are quite vigorous and could not achieve the same level of aeration with air-stones. - [10:46]: Time to pre-condition the water! --- Since I'm using RO water, both chlorine and chloramine shouldn't be an issue. Vamos familia que ya actualizamos la cosecha de estas Candy Rain de Zamnesia, para el concurso POWER BUDS Plagron x Zamnesia CONTEST. Ya era hora de cosechar, estoy bastante contento con los resultados. Vaya flores que se han marcado repletas de tricomas, y las flores se marcan aromas dulces y afrutados. Es una variedad bastante fácil de cultivar y muy resistente, crecieron desde el principio bien vigorosas, sin problemas y al final de todo recompensó. Las condiciones ambiéntales han sido máximas en 25 y mínimas en 20 y una humedad estable en torno al 36% al final de floración y en el secado.
