WEEK 17 It’s coming to an end with this grow. I’ve already reduced the nutrients over the course of the week and I think I’ll be able to harvest soon. At the moment, a few amber-colored trichomes can already be seen. The buds have become thick and firm by now and are covered in plenty of resin. Now it’s entering the final phase, and I’m already looking forward to the harvest. PPFD: 1000µmol/m²/s Water: 2x water 1x nutrient solution Vpd: 1,8Kpa

🔥 Off to week 3 we go with the start of Day 15! 🔥 Couldn't be much happier with the progress so far. All my cuties are developing nicely, gaining lots of leaves and the stems are getting more robust & thick every day. I now turned up my SF SE3000 to around 70% with 50cm distance. Halved the amount of Rhizotonic and now started adding Cannazym. I'm still going slow with watering and only upped the amount to ~ 250 ml. What I'm so far most pleasantly surprised with, is the fact, that all 4 cuties look the same. Week 8 of flower is in the books and this show is quickly coming to an end. I said last week we had about 7-10 days and I was spot on at the 10 day mark. I was only wrong about the order. The cheese is ready to chop before the rest and the gorilla cookies, cherry Bomb and lemon haze will follow in due course. The cheese is a beast and it’ll take a little time to get it all run through the bowl trimmer. At least the big one goes first. Her tallest colas have foxtailed like mar, despite the late supercrop. You can tell where the sweet spot for the light is at about 10” distance from the canopy. Any closer than that and the tails begin to show prominently. It’s a good example of just how close you can get to these fixtures with a little bit of prior experience. It’s been noted for the next run😎👍😎. The res. is on an h2o2 only flush for the remainder until the rest are ready to come down. Not a moment too soon either - the pollen chucking project has stalled out waiting for these girls to finish and now that we’ll have a little extra room, we can start running our cuts in the aerocloner🤟. Not long at all now folks. Thanks for tagging along through all this. Learned a bunch about this system and we’re back to hardware mode to make some serious improvements for the next run🤙😎. I love hardware mode😉. Background/Repetitive Nonsense The strain line up on this grow is look’n quite saucy 😈. We’ve got 2 FB strains this time around - Gorilla Cookies (seems we always have some GSC cross in the works). Mainly because the colours look stellar and remind me of a sugar breathe we did last year that was 🔥. The other FB is their original Cheese strain... because we already smoked all our cheese... and we really like our cheese...😉. Emerald triangle was kind enough to include a freebie of Lemon Haze. Wasn’t really big on the list but we haven’t done a haze strain to write home about yet so worth a go👍. The last is a Cherry auto from Bomb seeds that we’ve been trying to get to for months. Let’s just hope that she’s not a dud like the last bean. The new digs for this run are courtesy MarsHydro👊. Their 2x4 single grow tent, paired with a shiny new 240w QB courtesy ViparSpectra. These folks were kind enough to discuss a collaboration and as a result, here we are to test out the gear with an inaugural run of autos. Each week, we’ll try to expand on some of the benefits of each, as well as any limiting factors or considerations that need attention when pondering purchase. Already I can say that both are high quality products in terms of overall craftsmanship. MarsHydro 2x4 Grow Tent: Excellent construction in terms of durability. Reinforced stitching on the zippers and corners ensures zero tearing. Conveniently placed screen vents and intake/exhaust ports. The ceiling exhaust port only exists on the right side. Perfect for me but not great if you’re running exhaust from the top on the left side (left side wall port makes up for this however). The aluminum frame is rigid enough to support the weight of the lights and accessories. Once you have some weight in the tent, she’s go’n nowhere and you can assemble and break it down in record time if moving or stashing the grow op. Only limiting factors I’ve noticed is that temp. Control will be an issue for a tent. It just doesn’t have the same insulating ability as a wood cabinet or other permanent enclosed space. No worries, this is offset by a small desktop heater and keeps the environment exactly where desired. The other issue was a production problem - the ceiling vent was accidentally stitched into the corner seams on the assembly line. Again, no real issue - just pulled it out with no damage or fraying to the tent or port👍. Closest comparable to it that I’ve seen would be spiderfarmers line of qbs. They feature the same top-o-the-line components and roughly similar spectrums. Where VS takes the advantage is in the convenience of the dimmer nob which is easily accessible and works great at 50% with no strobing👍. The heat sink is also larger which contributes to lower temps. That’s not a good thing in my case but beneficial for most folks. I can already say that this will be a great fixture through all stages of growth. Where I know this light will excel will be in the veg. Stage for sure. Dimming function gives seedlings a much better chance of success with the ability to use lower lighting levels early on and the coverage area on a 240w is great. The average grower will find this panel suitable and fitting to their needs in a 2x4 grow space although I’d suggest 2 units if going any larger than that. The total output in this space equates to about 30w/sq.ft. Which is a decent amount of coverage based on power vs. Growprint. Ideal for veg. Certainly but, in flower - I tend to run closer to 50-60w/sq.ft to achieve higher yields. Again, similar fixtures have performed admirably in the past and while this wouldn’t be considered an “entry-level” fixture, I’d recommend that any grower new to the game not skimp on lighting and start with one of these. The price points are a great value for quality LED tech. These days, so there’s little reason to even consider a lesser fixture👍. I have no detail on limiting factors for this light as yet but have heard that stock branded fixtures don’t necessarily incorporate enough red diodes. I’ve seen no issue myself but confess - I’m no lighting guru. Week 9 was a tough week for the plants, but they pulled through! First, we are experiencing a heatwave where I live which has caused me some headaches for figuring out how to make the environment plant-friendly. Growing indoors is much tougher than I thought it would be 😅. So the room where the plants are has reached the max temperature of 38 degrees celsius. I decided to take the plants out of the tent and into my bedroom facing the west side window for ultimate sun exposure. Unfortunately, I cannot have the plants in my bedroom overnight since my husband has allergies. So, I placed them back in the tent at night. Throughout the week, I took some timelapse videos of the plants in front of the sun, and it is truly fascinating how plants understand the power of the sun, soil, water, and air. I think that plants would rather be grown by sunlight than LED lights, they get to move to the rhythm and speeds of solar and ecosystem, and it's amazing to witness in timelapse! Anyways, by the end of week 8, the plant looked hungry and big enough to be repotted. So, I gave it some Gaia Gree all-purpose nutrients and repotted her in a larger container with some fresh soil. The first few days of repotting, the plant seemed to have experience stressed. Its leaves were floppy, and there was not much growth. By the end of week 9 the plant looked much happier, fuller, and greener!

Over zealous with my LST and broke a side branch. Have stuck it back in with some cellotape, it's wilting and probably a gonner. Hey ho. Growth is good, I've added another spider farmer sf1000 and it is like light and day. When I turn it off and go back to 1 sf1000 it seems so dark!

Only gave her water and Deeper Underground, not feeding yet, and has a beautiful dark green colour. Vigorous mode : ON :) Summer has arrived... Edited : 17/06

7 weeks behind us. Goin' gooooooooood. No more feeding. Last 1.5 weeks will be water-only. I did just yesterday remove some top-layer canopy leaves to increase light penetration to lower budsites. They smell amazing and are beautiful - but I still hope for more resin production in the last week. Every day they get thicker and thicker, yum 😋😋😋

Both plants are responding well to training so far, & canopies are manageable & flat. Expression #1 is loving the training, & is naturally spreading horizontally, while Expression #2 is shooting new nodes & branching aggressively. Tent Entry-27 minutes Week Total-32 minutes Flower Total-32 minutes Name of the game from now until the end of stretch is keeping the canopy even & flat. Removed Bud Clips from all mains. Expression #1 needed four side branches bent by Bud Clips to keep canopy even. Expression #2 has an extremely even canopy & is branching off more, so leaf tucking was adequate. Hand watered each plant with 1/2 gallon 6.0ph 15ppm reservoir water, mixed with 1/2 tsp each of coconut water powder & Build a Bloom, with 1/4 tsp quillaja powder. État des plantes : saines et vigoureuses, aucun stress observé cette semaine. Paramètres ajustés :PPFD augmenté à 800 (cible atteinte selon les données). VPD réglé autour de 1,0-1,1 kPa (cible atteinte, valeurs mesurées : 1,06 kPa jour, 1,09 kPa nuit). Température moyenne : 24,4 °C (jour), 22,5 °C (nuit) - cible stable. Humidité moyenne : 65,22 % (jour), 59,98 % (nuit) - ajustée pour maintenir le VPD. CO2 : ~900 PPM (cible atteinte). Solution : eau claire Notes :Les paramètres ont été optimisés cette semaine avec une augmentation de la lumière (PPFD) et un réglage précis du VPD, adapté au cycle automatique. Aucune intervention stressante, les plantes répondent bien aux conditions. Objectif pour la semaine prochaine :Maintenir les mêmes paramètres : PPFD à 800, VPD autour de 1,0-1,1 kPa, température et humidité stables, sans stress supplémentaire.

I'll introduce nutes this week using General Hydroponics Flora 3 part flora series. Will continue the same routine as they seem to be responding great. All in all Happy Growing

Today, I watered both plants and checked the drain pH, which came out at 6.1 for both. Blue Dream is thriving—super vibrant, spreading out nicely, and showing great vigor. BCG, on the other hand, has been slightly droopy since transplanting and isn’t opening up as much. I also noticed that BCG holds onto more water compared to Blue Dream, as there was significantly less runoff despite using the same amount of water. The environment remains stable, with a VPD of 1.0. PPFD is set at 450, with the light positioned 35 cm above the canopy. So far, things are progressing well, and I’ll keep a close eye on BCG’s development over the next few days. Topping is planned for the end of week 2, but if BCG doesn’t recover fully, I might wait until the beginning of week 3 before topping her.

I harvested my pollen sacks plant looks healthy at this point I dont feed till harvest just water every 3-4 days. think o got 21 more days to go b4 harvest but until then I'm just checking out my trichomes so that I dont harvest to late .....one love and dont forget weed is love so share the love with those you know .......

72 grams of dried and semi-cured creamy buds. smooth smoke already despite the need to drop humidity below 59% fully. not much larf surprisingly but will be fun to see how much hash each strain gets considering others in the tent had way more. Harvest: somewhat early, but solid nugs and yield - easy trimming and quick to dry compared to other leafy varieties terps: creamy dough mostly with hint of sweet cinnamon sugar vanilla - just like the pack says, but still not impressed really Drama about these seeds: got store credit on the pack of 3 seeds just because of website change to outdoor only after purchase date. excited to grow other HSC strains next year.

I don't know what else to say. It was fun and hopefully the cheese was my fault and not the genetics of ilgm. But hell we will see. This my be my first journal but definitely not my last. Peace
