Some problems have appeared with my beloved plants. From my research, I have poor air circulation inside my grow tent, which wasn't surprising. When I set everything up somewhat haphazardly, I knew I would need to fix it. I confess I'm dissatisfied with this week; some plants are stressed, nothing too serious, but I noticed a slowdown in 3 Baker's phenotypes, some gnats have returned, another insect I've never seen before has appeared, and I'm somewhat short on resources to deal with it. I also had a serious problem with the electricity, forcing me to completely improvise the electrical system and exhaust fan to work without a ventilator. Anyway, enough bad news. I'm still in my first run, but I'm learning from my mistakes!

21.09.Update – Day 54 • We’re now deep into flowering, and unfortunately the thrips problem has not improved. • On the contrary, the population has completely taken over and has had a strong negative influence on this run. ⸻ Pest Situation • Despite thorough cleaning before the run and multiple measures during the grow (Neem, Nematodes, Predatory Mites), the thrips kept spreading and finally took control. • The infestation has weakened the plants noticeably, reducing their potential and overall performance. • For the next cycle, I will need to take even stricter preventive steps to avoid a repeat of this issue. ⸻ Plant & Bud Development • Even though the plants were heavily affected, the buds themselves are still relatively solid: • They are compact, firm, and nicely structured. • The terpene profile is very appealing, with a rich and delicious aroma. • Yield will certainly be lower than expected, but there is still a chance for a satisfying end product. ⸻ Notes & Outlook • This run shows how devastating thrips pressure can be, even under careful preparation. • Nevertheless, the buds are giving hope for a decent harvest in terms of quality and flavor. • The plan now is to finish strong, harvest what can be saved, and then prepare carefully for a fresh, hopefully pest-free start. ⸻ 🌱 Day 54 – Thrips have dominated the run, but compact buds and great terps keep the outlook positive for harvest quality.

The drying phase is officially complete for the Dark Lemonade Auto, and after a meticulous hand-trimming session, she is perfectly manicured and ready for the long cure! 📈 The Details / Harvest Report: The Final Trim: She dried beautifully and maintained incredible density. You can see the freshly manicured nugs resting in the metal bowl, completely stripped of their remaining fan and sugar leaves. Top-Tier Bag Appeal: The macro shots holding the nugs with the black nitrile gloves show off her stunning final form. The color palette is a gorgeous mix of deep greens, dark purple/black hues, and thick, vibrant orange pistils wrapping around the swollen calyxes. Resin Preservation: Zooming all the way you can see exactly how well the trichomes survived the drying and trimming process. because shes so huge i can not move her an inch.. so no flush happened and i went straight in to ripen feed. I hope she finishes up by next week because i have to cut buds away every day with mold. Lol its still going to produce a lot

Ive made so many mistakes, nevertheless the plant still goes on. Humidity is too high here, almost 93%, so i only have to water it once a week.

She is fully in flower now and is stretching 😻, hoping she stretches a lot more tho. She wasn't very thirsty, she only needed 2,4l of water. I again used 4ml of biobizz grow and bloom. I also removed a few leaves to make sure that every budsite gets enough sunlight.

On 7/25 I finally got some time to spend with this girl because my Sunday Farmers Market was postponed a day due to rain, so I got pretty wet out in the garden😅 I removed the discolored fan leaves that were't getting enough light and a few interior branches growing inward that wouldn't amount to much. I used 4' bamboo stakes and PGarden EZ Soft Plant Ties to train her main branches out for better air circulation and light penetration. Since it won't be long until they start flowering I decided to give them a bit more P&K with the Neptune's Harvest Rose & Flowering and some good old fashioned Crosby's Molasses to get that sugar production going😋 After I was finished I brought the trim leaves back with me for my horse since he loves snacking on them😉

Big Fat Wedding Cake is bulking strong right now. She has a nice frosty layer on her, and is maturing in smell as she goes. She is growing great under the Spider Farmer G5000/UVR40 lights. The solution got really low and strong causing her to have a bit of burn. She is heading to a finish in about 3 weeks. Well, what we feared, became a reality, one of the regular XTrakush plants is a male. This is why I planted two and I'm happy it seems to be only the one. But with the canopy going nice and full it hurt to get it out. Of course, I hoped to have two females but nature went its course. Considered leaving it in, to pollinate the others, or keeping it somewhere, but I do not have the space or light for it. Thus with pain in my gut, I went about getting her out. I notice a nice developed root system, very healthy, which was very hard to get loose. After shaking the soil off I have a rootball the same size as after my whole grow last time. I could lift the whole 57 ltr bag by lifting the plant. Sturdy stem, thick solid branches. This is what I was aiming for and it works. The soil again is proving itself to be a winner. The light this low gives some higher temps as expected, but manageable within ranges. The SP-3000 is performing really well and I cant wait to see the bud development coming weeks. I'm sure it will deliver a great amount of bigger buds looking at all the flower sites and the thick branches that support them. The plants seem to take the light well on only 45 cm. I've started adding the BAC Organic Bloom Nutrition. It is designed to work with the microorganisms I added with the micro life. With this I do a little bit of Calmag, but not so much, since I don't see any evidence of shortages, again proving my soil is dialed in for growing under LED perfectly. Changed to 12-12 a week ago and she’s into the stretch fully , I’ll need to defol and remove some lower branches and tie it down some more next week . Very stable genetics handling hot temps in her stride . You can already taste the orange when chewing on the leaves , can’t wait for this one to be getting smoked

20/12: Made the 2nd apical cut to the 4 arms to get the 8 colas and a full defolation of low part(i think the defolation was unnecesary but i was very excited hahaha)
