Another good week, just puttering away on grow. Did some high stress training on plant to space out a bit better. Added 2 more buckets and moved 2 plants from the incubator tent. See the video for details. PPM: 400-500 in res; the drain side is only spiking 50-100ppm. Looking fairly good. Trying to keep VPD bit more in range on this grow; closely controlling temp and humidity. Issues: 1. humidifier died in spectacular dump of 4 gallons of water on the floor; made a custom system. 2. The drain line vacuum locks; going need a air-pump or vent line to break the vac. 3. The different plant sizes require different feed ppm and cycles on timer. D54 (14/01/2021): First day for week 4 of bloom. I gave them tap water cause last time the PPM run off was a bit high. The PPM run off for Banana Kush today was higher then the run off for Glue Gelato. It's not the first time I see that so I think I can say that Glue Gelato uptake more nutrients compared to Banana Kush. If it become a problem I might consider doing two separate nutrients mix. - temp: 24-27C light ON ; 21-23C light OFF - water: PH6.7, 128 PPM approx. 4L per plant - run off: PH7 and 830PPM for Glue Gelato ; PH6.9 and 1220 PPM for Banana Kush - RH: 55% for light ON and OFF D55 (15/01/2021): I saw some brownish spots on small leaves for Glue Gelato. Last feed, Glue Gelato was the one with the lower PPM run off. I think the brown spots are due to calcium deficiency. Glue Gelato is an heavy feeder, I might give a good dose of nutrients next feed. Glue Gelato PH of the run off was on the high acceptable range. So it might also be a nutrient lock due to inappropriate soil PH. I need to check that closely... - temp: 24-27 C light ON ; 21-23C light OFF - no water - RH: 54% light ON ; 50-52% light OFF D56 (16/01/2021): I fed with 3/4 of the recommended dose for mid late flower. Run off for Banana Kush is still high. I will see how she react but so far she's the one who look the healthier! Maybe she doesn't mind having a ''hot'' soil. It's been 3-4 weeks since I did check the accuracy of my PH meter. I checked yesterday and I was off of PH0.4 (reading higher that it was suppose to be). I have a cheap PH pen so I need to check that often. It was expected. I flushed the Banana Kush until the run off passed below 1000 PPM. I did not flush the Glue Gelato since there is no sing of nutrient burn. They don't smell that much. When I open the tent, there is a weak smell but when I play with the leaves or shake the stems now I can smell them properly. Glue Gelato have a strong pine-citrus-fruity pungent smell and Banana Kush have a smooth tropical-fruity-candy smell. EC: 0.4 Watering: Both 1000 ml. EC: 1.4 Defoliated both plants and attached some shoots to the rack. She got really big fan leaves! I also supercropped some branches. 20-3 Temps: 18.2 to 22.8 degrees Humidity: 59% to 69% 21-3 Temps: 18.5 to 23.4 degrees Humidity: 57% to 67% Watering: Both 1000 ml. 22-3 Temps: 19.4 to 24.1 degrees Humidity: 55% to 67% Watering: Both 1000 ml. Set the strength of the light to 50% 23-3 Temps: 19.8 to 24.8 degrees Humidity: 58% to 67% Watering: Both 1000 ml. As you can see, instead of removing the leaves, i tucked down all the leaves to open up the canopy. I will see if i like this method as its the first time i try this. I also attached some more shoots to the rack, its looking nicely spread out now :) The #2 makes my fingers very sticky and smells really strong! I love it!

In general, the plants grow well. They maybe received too much light or having too much Nitrogen or both, I don't know. I didn't use any fertilizer so far but my soil already contains some, maybe it's too strong. I switched to 18h of light/day instead of 23h. I also changed the light mode from VEG to VEG&BLOOM (see pictures for more info). The two Mandarin Punch Auto have been transfered into their final pots. #1 in 26l pot and #2 in 10l pot. #2 is in a smaller pot because it's a bonus. I wanted to grow only 3 plants but my "safety seed" germinated and it would have break my heart to throw it away haha.

Finally we are done, I spent one 10 months on Durban Poison, this is my best sativa strain and im absolutely in love. So next report will be with some Clones of Durban Poison.

Candyman Day 22, Week 3 of veg! Will probably push 3 more weeks of veg until I flip 😬 The first plant (first pictures) seems a lot smaller then the other two 🤔 I've upped the lights to 50% intensity now. Second plant I've topped a set of lower branches aswell hopefully can start using my lst clips to train all three very soon. Last one seems a bit unhappy to me but still growing nicely. First couple branches only pushed out 3 finger leaves probably nothing just not noticed that before 🤷‍♂️🏼🤣 Update: I've just applied some LSTing so see how they look over next couple of days

Got everything hung up. Stripped the fan leaves and broke down into sections. Run 60/60 or as close as i can get until the stems snap.

Day 21 Veg: Hi all. Hope we are all free and healthy in the grow diaries community this week. It has been a very enjoyable and productive week this week. The purple monkey are gaining a nice size and taking to training really well. Their bases are getting thicker and i am now seeing small white female hairs at their bracts. I think flowering is very close now on these ladies. All three are looking very healthy and green with no signs of any issues to worry about so far. They are all reaching the pots edges with their side branches now so should make a decent sized canopy and bush after the stretch has finished. I did strip lower, small tips out too so that air can reach all of their budsites from underneath too. Banana Mash is a little behind the monkey so far and has no real gender signs yet. The mutant is growing out a little better now but is still looking odd. I have included 3 seeds that came from my last exotic run and where in some of thenbuds that I harvested. I suspect a lemon mimosa xhicked some pollen before I took her/he down and it hit all of the strains except 1. I now have about 100 seeds crossed with the mimosa lemon amd have kept each seed batch separate so I can have some idea of at least the mothers genetics if mimosa isn't daddy !!. They are also doing really well with the Mango cream X being the best looking so far. be interesting to see if they remain autos of just keep growing as photoperiod. I am adding the Megacrop to feeds now as I approach flowering and plan to germinate the next exotic goodies to join the second harvest. ( to follow...) They are all being trained now amd have taken to the idea quite well. I did have a snap on one of the Purple monkey ladies but tape should rescue the buds on that limb hopefully. So there we have it , another good week with plenty to do and the next week should hopefully see the start of some flowering stretch to wrestle with as they explode with growth. lol be well growmies.

She must survive tonight and the next three stormy days unscathed, I will protect her. Then it should be sunny for the rest of the week and I hope she can ripen for the weekend. She has huge buds, all over 20 centimeters, fat, completely submerged in resin, more than a pound of weed on the plant. Her scent reminds me hashish smell of my first trip to Amsterdam, 30 years ago. Guess the yeld, my friends ... and please cross Ur fingers for my girls.
