Been researching more on compost teas and with about week before the flip to flower, think it’s time to brew up some compost tea! --- Using the TeaLab brewing rig to bubble and mix the stew! --- Going to attempt to brew a fungal dominant tea using a modified compost tea recipe from Dr. Elaine Ingham. --- Unlike most compost teas, her recipe lacks molasses and sugars which promotes a more fungal dominant brew instead of anaerobic bacterial microbes. --- Okay let's start brewing! --- Assembled and installed the TeaLab brewing rig into a 5-gallon bucket and secured the unit using a garden support wire. --- Have a few empty buckets under the main brew bucket for insulation. Not really needed (pretty warm in the lung room), but why not. --- If the pump ever fails, to prevent flood-backs, made sure to place the unit above the water level and resting above the brew bucket. - [10:37]: Filled the 5-gallon bucket with 1-gallon of RO water. --- Plugging the pump in to start the bubbling! --- Have to say that the unit is a bit louder than anticipated, but wow the bubbles are quite vigorous and could not achieve the same level of aeration with air-stones. - [10:46]: Time to pre-condition the water! --- Since I'm using RO water, both chlorine and chloramine shouldn't be an issue. 🌾 Harvest Day — The Grand Finale of the Eternity Grow Cup 🌾 Days 72–73 | Trimmed on May 25 | Posted May 27 What a journey this has been — and what a finish. These five incredible Runtz phenos have now completed their cycle, and today, we celebrate the final stage of their flowering life: the Harvest. We sent the girls into darkness on Day 70, allowing them a full 48+ hours of rest and reset. The dark period was just a bit longer, truth be told, because time… it flows as it must. This extended dark time helps increase resin production, allowing the trichomes to mature just that final bit more. On Days 72 and 73, we harvested them with care and reverence. Each plant was hung upside down, whole, in a perfectly controlled 60% humidity environment for 13 full days. Before hanging, we gently removed only the fan leaves, leaving all trichome-rich sugar leaves in place — a natural armor for the delicate resin glands during drying. Why do we do this? Because those sugar leaves help protect the essential oils and terpenes, preserving potency, flavor, and aroma for the smoothest experience later on. 🌿 The Dry Room & The Trichome Guardians Throughout the drying, we used a moisture meter to monitor the moisture content in the stems. Once it dropped to around 12–13%, we knew it was time. This tool is a simple but game-changing ally in ensuring a perfect dry — not too fast, not too slow. We then trimmed everything by hand over a 6.5-hour focused session. Armed with trim bins and good energy, we collected an abundance of glistening trichome heads in the process — a golden bonus from these resin-packed beauties. The leaves themselves told a story: deep purples, near-black shades, autumn fades and metallic tones — just stunning. Each girl was trimmed in order: #5 → #4 → #3 → #2 → #1, revealing dense, chunky buds all the way from top to bottom. Not a single pop-corn bud among them — only rock-solid nugs, heavyweight champions in every sense. 📦 Cure Begins – Grove Bags & Glass Jars Once trimmed, the buds were tucked carefully into Grove Bags and glass jars, each stabilized at around 61% RH. Kosher Haze is what it says, kush and haze, very resinous buds. More leafy and less dense buds but long colas full of frost. Effect is powerful, euphoric, longlasting. Amazing taste of sweet berry.

D64/FD36 - Not much to really talk about this week. Things still ticking along. Sweet Cherry Pie not changing my mind yet that its a 10 week strain (Even though everything points to it "supposed" to be an 8 week one!!!). It put on a few more inches again last week (As can be seen in the time lapse!). Defs going forward, only 1 strain per res and I think "Cookies" based breeds will be it for me as they're so easy worked with. RAM Oscillating Fans...again, barely 10 days running and it has died!!! WTF! Hydro place will be willing to change again but its a joke, the batch is useless!!! Not the Hydro Shops fault though! They're bending over backwards as I do a good bit of business with them! :) Apart from that, dropped my EC by 0.2 this week (Pulled back on the base and bloom by 10-15%) just because they're drinking but not taking on food at any big rate - rather not poison the roots with a rising EC when they have a wee swallie to themselves!!! Changed the CalMag to Biobizz calmag as no nitrogen in it (it is a lot dirtier in a tank though which is the down side!!!). Apart from that, no real big changes. Happy Growing all!!! 💪

The end is near ! The buds are developping quite well - i don't overfeed them so i don't expect are spectacular grow, but they are doinf very nicely on their level. They still drink a lot and get wider with each new day. 🙌

3rd week i see the first signs of pre flower its time for last veg feed before change to Bloom.. I had try multiply FIM on this plant and happy with her.🇲🇹❤️ Finally had buy the Marshydro Drip Irrigation kit and will use for this 2 plants. So far tryed it with a digital timer it looks working very good

Things are going very well for Obi#2 . She's come a very long way and shes sure showing her ability to endure this nub grower :P :P :) Over all her flowers are swelling up nicely no major signs of stresses or anything like that shes just growing and doing her thing . Flushed and getting ready towards harvest

day 70 was harvest day !! really fast strain, 24h light ON really played a big role as well frosty buds and amazing strawberry smell, now lets dry it !!

I just want to bite off one of the buds and eat!)) buds develop very well .. you can see how many there are .. they are everywhere .. especially under the leaves .. and so I think ... Or maybe you can do 1 more defoliation? the last one? what do you think, or not to bother her more?

Great week! Explosive growth was the theme, and over the past 3 days they've gained 4 inches. I was inspired by a few growers on here to do more lst this round, we will see if it pays off or not. Finicky is still doing very well, I would say she's outpacing the other plant at this point. Started my bloom nutrients, and began to wean them off the veg nutes. There are plenty of nodes for buds, but a lot of them haven't shot up yet like some of the main stalks. The right plant was looking a little droopy this morning, realized they were probably an inch too close to the light. Hoping to get another week of stretch out of them, but I could see them shifting into bud production mode soon. Excited to see what's coming up over the next few weeks, stay tuned ladies and gentlemen!
