It's been a very simple grow cycle for this Mimosa Cake auto. I started with a super soil and eventually started using bottled nutrients to get me to the finish line. It's been almost 100 days since germination and the finish product is a really stout & bushy plant with a dense flower composition. I will dry for 8-10 days at 65-70 degrees F and 55- 60 % relative humidity. After that she gets put in mason jars indefinitely. Advise for growing this strain: - Utilize LST techniques frequently - Stay on top of defoliation, she gets really bushy - She seemed to really like CalMag at full strength in compost extracts Thank you growdiaries.com Thank you growmies for all your advise Thank you Fastbuds

Of the 5 seeds i harvested 44grams avg. Keep in mind the pest condition and some ripped by snails. In all a satesfying grow.

Shortly after they were switched to flowering (after week 3) the plants continue to stretch and then start to develop their first flowers. Now in week 7 all plants have very nice flower clusters all over the plant and side branches. They have grown to 45 cm (=Shiva Skunk on left side) and 40 cm (Serious Kush on right side of aisle) in height respectively and all plants have a nice dark green color, which shows they are healthy and also that the Advanced Nutrients schedule works like a treat. The Q6W-Gen.2 LED-Lamps are now dimmed to 100% (=three green LEDs on the dimmer) and work on FULL POWER, which ensures full fledged flower production. Both varieties have now started to exude their typical aroma. The Shiva Skunk starts to smell musky and sweet, while the Serious Kush smells 'gassy' and 'fuely' like its OG-Kush heritage. The flower clusters on the Serious Kush appear to grow denser than the clusters on the Shiva Skunk.

Fo' Twenny Back with another update on our "Grandaddy Purple" from Blimburn Seeds! 8/24: I did some selective defoliation to help increase light penetration. Next watering will be a flush with 2 tsp/gal of Fox Farm's flush agent SledgeHammer. A flush is recommended after week 3 in the Fox Farm Feeding chart. I figure the recommended flush will do some good considering I have a lot of coco in the mix and there are small amounts of salt fertilizer in my schedule. She is really starting to do some stretching and she has an abundance of growing shoots. She has a few leaves that look textured or "crinkled". I tried doing some searches and not sure if this is due to a virus or some other factor. She is center in the tent and the only plant being grown in a fabric pot. She has also been vegging longer than any of the other plants in the garden. She was a survivor from previous run when I almost killed all my plants (did kill one) trying to kill so spider mites. This is the only plant presenting these abnormalities. I gave a lot of detail about the abnormal leaves because I am hoping someone may be able to help me troubleshoot. 8/28: Flushed the medium with tap H2O run through 2 KDF filters with 2 tsp/gal of Fox Farm Sledgehammer flushing agent and pH adjusted to 6.2. I started by giving 5 gallons. After checking the PPM of the runoff I ended up adding 5 more gallons mixed to same specifications. 10 gallons total was shared by 3 large flowering photoperiod cultivars and 1 smaller autoflower. She probably ended up with about 3 gallons give or take. I didn't measure how much each plant received. I just kept flushing each and checking runoff until it was under 1600 ppm. Grâce au LST (Low Stress Training), j'ai courbé la structure pour forcer le destin. Le résultat dépasse mes espérances : 10 branches secondaires vigoureuses ont jailli du tronc. Chacune d'elles se dédouble déjà, me promettant une canopée de 30 têtes. je lui ai enlevé deux feuilles de sa robe qui frôlait le sol pour éviter tout problème de brulure ou de champignons pour que sa croissance rzste vertigineuse. ​Je vois déjà le tableau final se dessiner : une armée de fleurs régulières, une géométrie sacrée qui portera bientôt ce givre légendaire. C'est une croissance incroyable, une explosion de vie que je guide jour après jour. 🏜️ État de l'Oasis ​Le climat est celui des journées parfaites au pied du Rif, là où l'air est pur et la lumière généreuse. ​Climat : 24°C - 25°C le jour / 20°C - 21°C la nuit. ​Humidité : 55% (L'air s'assoit légèrement, parfait pour durcir la fibre). ​Énergie : Intensité montée à 75% (La Lumatek tape fort, comme le soleil de midi). ​Distance : Réglée à 87 cm de l'apex pour que chaque branche secondaire reçoive sa partie de lumière. It has been 6 weeks of flowering , this week specifically I have seen a lot of changes in the buds development. The ph and the ppm level of the reservoir is fluctuating very much. The PH drops to around 5.3 and PPM was reaching 1800 . The best way to solve this is probably to add plain water into the reservoir to balance the PH and the PPM level. This lady sure loves to produce sugar leaves , i defoliate loads of leaves but the leafs doesn't seem to stop growing out from the buds. I decreased the amount of light per day , I am giving her 11.30 hours of light instead of 12 hrs . I checked light leaks again but still pretty sure that it is not the problem here . The nutes supplier told me to increase the ratio of Superbud blue bud and superbud orange bud so that it can enhance the bud development . This week i got some new nutes from my bro "Master Mine" which i will try out on my next run . PS . Sorry for the high light exposure in the video , i was playing around with my new DJI osmo pocket . Any ideas on how long she's going to take until she's done?

And we've reached the end of another week. This girl is really tall; she ended up getting too close to the light and burned a couple of leaves. I only noticed it today, so I believe I won't have any more problems. Otherwise, everything is fine; she's developing well. 👌💪

C and D dont seem to be doing much growing. E is doing well. Fruit flies are still around. Bought a fly sticky trap last night so hopefully that works. Not an easy thing to find when its snowing outside.

☀️ // Day 66 🍁 Chopping Day Every grow must come to an end. I can't be the only one who always gets heartbroken when chopping down the plants. I mean, for 4 months you do everything for the plants that they're having a good life. You cheer every healthy sign from them, you want them to love life and from one day to the other, you kill them. That's just sad, isn't it? I am always telling myself that they're basically become a part of us through the endocannabinoid system, so that's their afterlife, right? Haha Anyway, this was a rather stressful grow. I had major problems with the soil, I just couldn't control it. I think it's because of the Peat Free stuff I mixed in, it somehow fucked up the buffer capabilities of the soil or something like that. But that doesn't matter now, I got it under control, the buds developed perfectly but the leafs are damaged by the tips. So it's not the most beautiful plant overall but the buds are very marvelous. They have a rather unique shape, like a pyramid but with an almost flat head? And their purple hue is just breathtaking. It's a very pinkish purple which I haven't seen by myself until now. I am very happy with this genetic in that regard. But let's see how the buds really turn out. I am aiming for a 10-14 day drying period. With 55% humidty during the first 24-48h with 19 °C. I will rise the humidty to 60 % after that period until the end. In that way, I want to make sure that the critical moisture gets out in the first 1-2 days but after that it should be a very, very slow drying to preserve as much cannabinoids and terpenes as possible. The week has passed quite normally, and our girl continues to delight us with her growth. She has already grown by a whole 10 cm, and her leaves have become even wider and greener thanks to the Xpert Nutrients fertilizers that we use with pleasure. However, we encountered some unpleasant situations related to Sensi Seeds. We reached out to them with an issue of seed germination, not only with Skunk but also with other strains from Sensi Seeds. We provided them with all the necessary information about the purchase, although the receipt was not saved due to various circumstances. But, to our great disappointment, Sensi Seeds denied us, citing the lack of a receipt. We provided them with the date and place of purchase, videos, and photos, but it was not enough. Honestly, we feel deep disappointment from Sensi Seeds' attitude. We were ready to immerse ourselves in the world of their genetics, knowing that many legendary strains were bred from their seeds. But now we are disappointed not only with the quality of their product but also with the lack of honesty and support. We no longer want to have anything to do with Sensi Seeds and will seek other ways to fulfill our dreams. People, please take a look at the photos and videos and share your opinion. Did I provide enough evidence to Sensi Seeds, or should I have provided a receipt as well? I believe that integrity should come first. Sensi Seeds, you have shown your lack of integrity. People, I appeal to you: no honest and self-respecting grower can stand aside. I ask each of you to voice your opinion.

I had been feeding with a diluted solution and now after flushing with water last week I'm moving up to full strength. The pistils of the plants on the ends seem healthier. The smaller plants in the middle seem a little more scraggly. I'm making full use of the SCROG net. I also raised the light an inch or so and put it back to 100% from 75%. I'm going to see if I can keep it closer to 100 if I can balance the intake air temp. Some of the leaves are damaged. I have a feeling it's from the cold nighttime air coming in the intake. I'm going to keep the intake fan off at night while it's this cold and damp outside. Hopefully not too much smell escapes. Maybe I should seal it at night. Getting sticky now!
