Eternity Grow Cup - Week 9 Veg Update We are stepping into Week 9 of vegetation, and things are getting exciting! The plants are thriving—compact, bushy, and growing beautifully. This week, we introduced a SCROG (Screen of Green) net, an essential tool for maximizing yield and optimizing plant structure. Let’s dive deep into the why and how of scrogging: Why Install a SCROG Net Now? Maximizes Light Exposure: The net allows even light distribution across all branches, ensuring every bud site gets the optimal amount of light. Controls Plant Height: By guiding the branches through the net, we keep the canopy even and prevent excessive vertical growth. Enhances Airflow & Reduces Mold Risks: Spreading the plant out increases air circulation, reducing humidity pockets and minimizing risks of mold and pests. Increases Yield: More bud sites exposed to light mean higher-quality flowers and greater overall production. For now, we’re still not using the under-canopy lights, though they will come into play soon. The ICL 300 is positioned strategically, and we will likely move them around as needed later. For now, the focus is on structuring the plants and ensuring they fill out the available space properly. Optimizing Airflow - The Vortex Effect Air circulation is crucial for plant health, and this week, we’ve optimized airflow by positioning the fans to create a vortex effect: Fan Positioning: Each fan is placed at the tent corners, pointing in different directions, ensuring dynamic airflow instead of direct wind hitting the plants. Benefits of a Vortex System: Reduces hot spots and evenly distributes CO₂. Strengthens stems by creating a natural resistance. Prevents stagnant air, reducing mold and pest risks. The extraction system is powered by an AeroFan, connected to the AeroFan Smart Remote FRC1, currently running at 60% speed. This setup efficiently manages humidity and temperature while maintaining optimal air exchange. Current Environmental Conditions & Feeding For now, we’re maintaining the same water schedule and nutrient regimen. The environmental conditions remain stable: Temperature: Holding steady at ideal growth levels. Relative Humidity: Balanced to encourage healthy transpiration. PPFD (Photosynthetic Photon Flux Density): Kept at optimal levels to support vigorous vegetative growth. CO₂ Levels: Elevated but within safe limits, promoting faster growth. Day 24 of flower Light feeding day 2 gallons of water mix with 2 ounces of liquid kelp 1 tbsp of fish and seaweed 2 tsp of calmag Ppm 486 ph 5.85 With a runoff of 20% Grow light: mars hyrdo tsw2000 at 100% power 24inches above 🌞☀️ Medium: coco coir mix with compost at a 50/50 ratio with 30% perlite added⛰️ Nutrients: fox farm dirty dozen 🦊🚜 Grow space: 4x4x7 Water: tap water (my tap water is allows 110ppm) left out for at least 24hours Happy going everyone🌝

Week 3 Grow Diary Report: Days 15-21 As we progress into the third week each of our strains—Tropicana Cookies, Gorilla Zkittlez, and Apple Strudel—continues to showcase impressive growth and resilience. This week, particular attention was given to optimizing environmental conditions, including an increase in CO2 levels (Growbag), adjustments in lighting (PPFD increase) to support the vegetative growth phase and introducing some light LST. Tropicana Cookies: Significant growth was observed, with plant height increasing from 12.5 cm to 18.5 cm. This rapid growth spurt, referred to locally as "stretching," was noticeable mid-week. The plants have maintained their health with no major issues, responding well to environmental adjustments. Continued nutrient regimen with Alfa Boost. Since the soil is preamendet with nutrients, I just use PH-balanced water. Lighting intensity was increased progressively from 350 PPFD to 380 PPFD and then to 400 PPFD and CO2 supplementation was implemented to support enhanced photosynthesis. Environmental Conditions maintained stable with temperatures ranging from 27°C during the day to 21-25°C at night, with relative humidity around 64-68%. Gorilla Zkittlez: Growth was steady, increasing from 10.2 cm to 15 cm. The plant has responded well to environmental controls and nutrient supply. Gorilla Zkittlez remains in good health, with no signs of nutrient burn or deficiencies. Apple Strudel: This strain showed a healthy increase from 9.5 cm to 14 cm. Growth rates are slightly behind Tropicana Cookies but on par with expected metrics for the strain. She continues to exhibit good health, benefiting from the stable grow conditions and targeted nutrient applications. Week 3 has shown promising developments with all strains demonstrating robust growth and good health. The environmental adjustments, particularly the increased CO2 supplementation and lighting, appear to be positively impacting the plants' growth dynamics. As we move forward, it will be important to continue monitoring these conditions closely to ensure that they remain optimal for each stage of plant development. Cheers, D.

Just letting them ripen up now. Will be partially harvesting a couple more branches that are really ready to go, in the next few days. Other than that they will all be ready around the same time, around a week or 2. On day 79, I partially harvested another one of the plants (different one than before). All the rest seem to be on track not need partial harvests. On track now to chop my first full plant on day 85. This plant has not yet been partially harvested like 2 of the others. I will be counting this as my “harvest” day as the others are not far behind and will be chopped in the next week or 2. Expect harvest details soon!

Hemos empezado un cultivo con semillas del banco Sweet Seeds y toda la gama de nutrientes y coco premium de Plagron. Es nuestra primera vez con coco y esta marca de nutrientes pero nos va a sorprender para bien! Primero diluimos siete gotas de seedbooster plus en un litro de agua y dejamos la semilla en esa dilución 12 horas. Esa misma agua la usaremos para empapar el papel donde pondremos a germinar las semillas. Al segundo día ya tenemos las semillas nacidas, y los líquidos de riego los haremos a un ph de 5,8 y usaremos power roots, silice rock y pure zym para cada riego con una EC de 0,5. Una vez a la semana haremos una pulverización de vita start y otro día a la semana vita race. Hacemos una dilución de estos mismos de 1 ml por cada litro de agua para pulverizar dejando bien empapadas las hojas. Vita start nos aporta un npk bajo para nuestras pequeñas y vita race le aporta hierro, de manera que con ellas conseguimos un mejor enraizamiento, ramificación y un color sano de nuestras pequeñas en sus hojas. Tendremos que ir subiendo el nivel de la Ec, ya que pecaremos de cautos en comida al no haber usado nunca coco antes.😎

D29 - The start of the fifth week of vegetation. All is relatively uneventful, and all I'm doing is tightening the LST wires each day. Since transplanting the girls last week, the girls are quietly doing their thing, and I have yet to turn on the Blumat system. The soil was quite most when transplanting, plus I keep the humidity high to deter thrips. I had (have?) thrips in my other tent and want to avoid them getting into this one. D31 - Last night I finished hooking up the Blumat system, but I didn't turn it on as the soil moisture was still sufficient. I really should say that I thought I didn't turn it on, but when I opened the tent today, #1 was completely flooded, with a good 2-3 cm of water in the tray. It turned out that the shut-off valve was slightly off-center, and that was enough to allow water to trickle through. Ugh. Now I have to wait even longer until I can turn on the system. Not a huge deal as long as it is functioning in a week since I'm planning a short trip for Easter. D33 - LST D35 - The last day of the final week of vegetation as the girls have started to go into flower. I did additional LST and some minor defoliation to eliminate some random leaves. Finally, I turned on the infrared diodes in my grow-light but will hold off another couple of weeks before i turn on the UV diodes.
