Stretch and flower! Fantastic growth all over. By far the best plant i have grown (to this stage)! I resist on a daily basis to trim or train and she just moves forward on her own. At most I rotate her every other day.

This girl has been one of my favorites. Pineapple express is true to it name looking like a pineapple once it fades the yellow, and the green are very beautiful together smells gassy with pineapple busting out of every tone

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. 420 Fastbuds Week 6 Blackberry Auto What up grow fam. Hope everyone's grow is going as expected. These two Black beauty's are absolutely stunning. The colors they're producing in the flowers are just breath taking. The smell is already very pungent berry so one could only imagine once finished. The bigger of the two seems to be a little further along with its flowers. Decided to add General Hydroponics 3 part flora series to the fed for an added boost if they're needing it. I'll continue the routine I've done up to this point.

Buds are starting to get thicker!!

Harvest week for the Milky Way F1 growmies 🙌 Pretty happy with how she handled this cycle, recycled soil first time ever, dead of winter, undersized light for a 100x100 tent… she just kept going 💪 In previous runs I did scaled harvests, and every time I noticed a visible resin boost and even some anthocyanin production on some phenos, confirmed that a sudden light intensity increase late in flower does something interesting. This time I went a different route: last 6-7 days I stripped most of the non-resinous fan leaves and redirected a lateral bar onto the mid/lower zone to get the same effect. Curious if mechanical stress from defoliation plays a role here too, anyone know anything about jasmonic acid? 🤔 Late flower I pushed the setup to ~200w adding 660nm red bars at 40-50cm, which clearly tightened up the buds compared to previous runs 👀 Pulled the CO2 bottles in flower, without a way to measure it I’d rather focus on VPD and fresh air circulation 🤷 Kept them in veg where humidity tolerance is higher anyway. Now she’s drying and I can’t wait to see how the wet/dry ratio lands 🌿​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Day 99 - Ripening week in DWC a. pumped out the Flowering blend, and installed the Ripen b. this plant is certainly a small bush like FastBuds claimed c. I can see how this would be perfect for SOG d. Her pistils are all almost colored, and the trichomes are milky Day 100 a. I always love using Ripen, it works so well b. first day, already notice the top of the buds filling out more c. her life is coming to an end. she will get this week to ripen, then next week we will flush/chop d. growing in DWC makes the ripening and flushing mush faster than other substrates Day 101 - the purple is setting in a. looks like they are ripening up fast, the purple is getting darker and the buds harder Day 102 - ripening really nice, the smell is quite intense a. she is smelling up our barn, we dont have a filter b. Ripen always makes the buds very hard, she is drinking a L a day right now in the end. Day 104 - incredible smell a. this is finally smelling pungent like kush, well kushy haze b. sampled a small top bud, its killer c. Will be cutting down in a few days Day 105 - ripe a. the buds are ripe, I will gradually start the flush before harvest b. will give them 1 or 2 more days of ripen formula, then flush with Florakleen for a day
