Thank you so much for your support on this bananas journey 💜💚💜💚 I am so happy to see how girls are developing in recent days. It's seems that Athena finally stopped her stretch and hoping that Xena will follow her sister very soon. Buds are gaining weight and size rapidly. Lots of nice colours and tonnes of trichomes on those buds already. Week 10 Dec 18-24 Dec 18-19 Mainly observation. Xena is still stretching like crazy. both girls are developing beautifully. Dec 20 First watering for this week. 7.5 ltr beetwen both. Runoffs PH's Athena 6.2 Xena 6.3. Dec 21 Due to lack of light at lower parts of conopy decided for another selective defoliation, lowered a bit tallest branches with colas dangerously close to light by tieing them to netting. Couple cm will make a huge difference here. Could not clear well at the back wall of the cabinet due to limited access.I'm very happy with final result. Dec 22-23 Joyful observation of my 🍌💜👊girls development 🧑‍🌾 Dec 24 All is looking great. It's seems that stretch is finally stopped. Girls looking healthy and happy. Skywalker putting on tons of frost and seems to be happy with the status quo so no more compost teas for her. Starting to have a distinct Kush scent filling the tent now. In the future I’d probably LST this from the start to increase yields but other than some defoliation throughout, I haven’t done any training which has been nice. Blueberry impressed me with the size of the buds starting to form. Signs of frost for sure. Not very aromatic yet at this point. Stem rub is a different story. She has been showing some signs of calcium/mag deficiency in some of the leaves which seemed to improve with top dressing/Recharge. Been drinking a steady liter minimum daily Glueberry OG continues to explode in growth. I’ve done quite a bit of defoliation to keep tops exposed and it has bounced back quick each time. I can see why this would be a fun strain outdoors, as it is slowly taking up a solid 4 square ft of the tent. I may end up finishing this outdoors depending on its desire to consume the canopy space. Due to the longer flower period, I’ll keep up with compost teas to support all that growth. So far, it seems to be working Week ended 7/20

Week 7 is over, they did their flowering stretch and are looking good. Temps and humidity are quite optimal now.

Topped soil with layer of aquarium rock. Treated rather dry pot to 3:1 tap water:hydrogen peroxide mix, two quarts. sprayed 3:1 mix around/in plant, doused areas of activity in rock/soil with vinegar. Classic overwatering-led-to-fungus-gnats! pot placed on riser, towel sitting underneath to capture/monitor runoff. two days after 3:1 fed pot two quarts of water with added general hydroponics 1/2/3. kept tent dry with towel replacements, idea was to saturate soil with nutrient rich water after the peroxide flush. brutal. plant is not happy.

Day 50 - Nearly at her end, some pretty buds have formed showing pink/red colours. Trichomes were checked and they are showing pretty much all milky white at the moment, I saw a few Amber but I'd like to see atleast 30% Amber before they get harvested. The buds are rock hard and full of unique smells which I hope translates to the flavour profile. I will be flushing these girls for the remainder of the grow which shouldn't be too long now. Keep a close eye as I will be uploading some more pictures and videos. Hoping to do a photo shoot once all is ready. So these two are growing completely opposite of each other. I feed them the same and one is losing fan leaves while the other is thriving. The one that is thriving I actually topped so we will see if it stunt the growth by any chance

Did a little outside action this week as I had to clean out the tent and make some ventilation adjustments I’m 9 weeks in on these plants and it kinda has me wondering why I’m not seeing much more vertical growth I’ve decided to pull the light up a bit and decrease the intensity let ‘‘em work for it a little bit.They are healthy tho and as usual the vegetation never fails to impress happy growing yall

What a champ! She didn't even blink an eye at the massive defoliation I did... she's eating and drinking and going to give me a pretty good harvest I think. Just amazing! Going to bump up the EC today to 1.2 and keep it there for the rest of her run... Honestly, I'm so impressed with this little lady, I can hardly believe her... and to think there were so many times I was going to throw in the towel and start over... I'm glad she wasn't able to read my thoughts! 10/27 - She continues to humble me... her persistence makes me ashamed of my earlier pessimism... each bud site is stacking - there will be few, if any small single buds (not talking "popcorn" but rather decent sized but still single buds)... She's plowing through the water and the nutes .... I've got the lights up as high as they can go unless I end up having to rest them on top of the top crossbars of the tent (which I may have to do!). I may try to eliminate or at least mitigate that problem with some creative LST efforts... she won't mind... she hasn't really minded anything I've done.. Also going to do a little bit more defoliation today... 10/28 - EC and pH are both nice and stable... she's gone through about 1/2 gallon since yesterday so will top up the reservoir. Didn't get the defoliation done yesterday.. heading in to do it NOW! :-D 10/31 - Haven't been terribly attentive to this part of the diary - but there's been little to say! She's doing really well, drinking a lot and handling a LOT of defoliation like a champ... And tomorrow, she turns 8 weeks old... I'm thinking she's going to run for another 5 weeks or so... Buds are rather slow growing at this moment in time but again, I'm not worried about her at all ...
