Had to harvest due to pest issues. The plants bulked up but very leafy all throughout flower. It did get a nicer smell but nothing that took my breath away, atleast not like onion anyway. The plant weighed abit and the nugs were packed, still not a very terpy profile or resinous as much as id hoped. Wont be growing this strain again I reckon. Its good for someone who likes a puff here and there with a mild strain that wont last long. I have had worse strains but so far my least favourite grow but hey I grew within myself so it was not in vain. Enjoy familia.

This week was really great except for some weather problem, cold is came a little bit earlier and i m still fixing something in the grow box. Roots are really large and strenght. Flowering started exactly in the 28 day. Let's go!

The journey continues, nothing much has changed. The Chem Beyond Diesel is taco-ing hard, probably due to the light being close, but since the NYC and BJ are the same height and are not taco-ing, this one might also just be a little more sensitive (?). The BJ and NYC are fox-tailing quite a bit, so the plants could also just be showing different reactions to the same stress? Either way, there isn't much I can do at this point. The humidity is a bit high and I have defoliated some more to help bring it down. I might have to consider some other options, too. I switched from Hesi Root Complex to Canna Rhizotonic now (because my bottle was empty and I wanted to try something new), and also added some D-Block to my reservoir to help prevent clogging. The plants are supposed to be 8-9 weekers, but they look more like at least 11 right now. I guess we will see.

It was a good run considering how it started. I wish I put her in a bigger pot and vegged her for maybe 2 more weeks and I would of ended up with another ounce. I also think I defoliated a lttle too much to early in fear buds werent getting enough light. Jusst under an oz is fine. Im doing a 2 week and 1 month cure so I will split it in half and update later on.

So i had to take all my plants inside because i found bud rot on 2 of them & the weather wasn’t going to get any better, had to transform my bedroom into a grow room😂 & i have 2 more plants which i am going to finish next to a window.. The smaller plant to the right is a Northern light by zamnesiaseeds that has a seperate diary if you are interested! I really hope the bud rot doesn’t spread anymore & if anyone has any tips or tricks for that they are always welcome!

Her flowers are continuing to bulk up and are covered in glistening trichomes. She appears to be starting to fade which is exactly what I'm hoping to see, meaning that she's just about used up the nutrients in her medium. I watered today with 1.5g of de-chlorinated water which was then ph'd to 6.6 @ 72℉ turned her pot and shot a few pictures of her. 10/6- Today I watered her with 1.5g of her usual straight de-chlorinated water that's ph'd to 6.5 @ 72℉ and turned her pot. She's definitely starting to fade, is still stacking her flowers, bulking up and has an incredible amount of trichomes which I'm beginning to monitor daily. 10/8- The routine of watering every other day continues like clockwork. Yesterday was a 'no water' day and I did a basic check over of the plant, removed a couple of yellowed lower leaves and turned her pot. Today she got the usual 1.5g of straight de-chlorinated water that's ph'd to 6.5 @ 72℉ and had her pot turned. I've also begun to check her trichome development with a digital USB microscope to try to identify the ideal harvest time which will be in the next week +/-. 10/10- Well, Week Eight has come, gone and has been a trial once again of my patience! She's so freaking frosty that I've wanted to chop her several times but, I know from experience, good things come to those who wait... then wait a bit more. I anticipate that she'll be ready by the end of this coming week, and I can't wait! I've cut the wattage back on the HLG 650R to 500w at the wall now to simulate the way that sunshine becomes weaker as fall approaches due to the lower angle of the sun in the sky. This helps outdoor plants to know that winters on the way and they need to hurry up and complete their life cycle. Cutting the wattage back creates the same effect on the indoor plants, especially when coupled with lowered temperatures in the tent. I have also noticed that her water uptake has slowed. After her heavy watering on the 8th, her pot still had some weight to it and she was looking great so I went ahead and skipped watering her today, watering her tomorrow at lights on with her usual.
