Hello everyone. Welcome back to the update for week 5 of the Mac 1 F1 hybrid clones part 2. Above the soil, it looks like a ghost town right now—absolutely nothing is happening on the upper side! I guess the ladies decided to take an unannounced vacation, or maybe they are just practicing their best statue impressions. But jokes aside, they must be incredibly busy beneath the surface right now. All their energy is clearly focused on making a massive root network, building the ultimate foundation hidden down in the coco. Because they are focusing purely on roots, I am keeping the menu very simple at this point. They are getting their basic nutrients with Canna Coco A and B at 2 ml per liter of water, with absolutely no extra additives this time around. The environment is dialed in perfectly. The temperature is sitting comfortably between 21°C and 25°C. Humidity is staying above 60%, thanks to the humidifier working hard in the background to keep the air dialed in. There is an interesting experiment running this week between the two clones. I decided to give one clone a fresh defoliation and a topping, while the other one was left in peace to do its own thing for now. Next week, she will likely need some defoliation as well. I am highly expecting a massive burst in growth next week once these roots are fully established! Let's see how they react and what they look like next week. Thank you for stopping by and have a nice day. Best regards, Growfather

Seeds were left in water overnight to simulate an all night soaking rain. The next day they were direct sown .75" deep into moist soil. They were left outside and because of the 40° nights took 4 days to pop. The soil was premixed with 15ml of rock dust and top dressed with the above listed nutrient at the listed ml rate per gallon of soil. 35ml of coop poop and 21ml of blood meal were mixed together and top dressed in a ring around plants, when they popped.

Week 7 day 52: Ladies are not drinking as much it seems. Probably will continue to water 1.5gal every 3 days. Gave it some build a bloom today 6/29/22 as a final push. Just water from now on. They are just working on fattening up. Still throwing some white hairs but it is not much and trichomes are 20 % clear, 70% cloudy with the remaining 10% amber from what i can tell. I learned today, while using a microzoom hand held camera, that i am very shaky! I need to rig something up to hold the camera in place to get better pics.

Nothing new, i will add commentary later in the week. Edit: Everything seems nice and cool, 2 of the plants are just growing 4th node, 2 of the plants are growing 5th. Tommorow i will top for the first time. I will add video of that. Day 16 - I increased the light intensity from 40% to 50%. Day 17 - I watered with increased dosage, 750 ml per plant. I kept voodoo juice in becouse i wanted to make sure of establishing good rhizobial colonies (root bacterias that are prosperous for your plant - don't be afraid to ask any informations in the comments), the bacterias need food to stay alive and i started in 20 liter pots with small amount of water volumes per feed, so to make sure there will be some in the future i kept it there in the first bigger feed batch of this run. Day 18 - topping(kinda fimming) above 4th node. Bending plants to the ground using rubber covered wire by AC Infinity. Adding video of topping. Also, when topping, i clean scissors in denatured alcohol (technical ethanol) after every plant - every detail matters, don't risk spreading any disease, these can be brought even in the seeds!

11 days of drying. I just trimmed her and put her in glass jars to cure. Trim was not to bad, got through her in about 1 hours, rough trim. I sampled this one alot while drying so her end weight is be more, maybe 5 grams. Her offical weigh was 61grams. The wet weight consist of entire plant. Branches and all which wa 465grams. From one of the videos you can see where 3 of her branches were broken because they were tied down. Self inflicted supercrop. A testament to how resilient these genetics are.

All in all i had no problems when growing, except for the heavy mold infestation in all the main flowers at the end of the grow, a great pity, as half of the total weight had to be thrown away. And yes, there are 3 plants wrapped inside each other :D I will definitely grow them again.
